On my wall above my desk is the picture of the brave Marines in World War II who were holding the American Flag to plant it on top of the small island of Iwo Jima. These were the ones who survived the horrific landing on the beaches, leaving their dead everywhere, yet striving and moving forward to reach their goal and take the land. The odds were against them yet they continued. Were they afraid? Of course! But they were at war! Courage, bravery, and determination brought these soldiers to the top of the hill to boldly plant the American Flag in victory!
That famous photograph reveals the tremendous determination and perseverance that produced inner strength and ability to persevere through extreme difficulties.
Of course, God was on their side. They had a purpose!
Intercession and Planting the Heavenlies
We’re been through some extreme circumstances these last couple of years, and now the flare-up in the Ukraine. Yet, we persevere. We have a purpose! Like the low point of a triangle, or better yet, like a nine month pregnancy is at term and the baby is ready to be born, things are moving ahead as prophetic times are at hand. The fullness of the Gentiles has come in! (Romans 11:25)
God’s been waiting for this hour, and He wants souls! Not only that, but as people of prayer, we extend our dominion into the heavenlies. Many victories are taking place as we establish order there so that restoration and order can come into our communities. (Is. 51:16 & Jeremiah 1:9-10)
The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand! It’s time for the outpouring! Plant your Kingdom flag Saints!
You have a purpose! No one can fill your shoes…
