Who you are in Christ ...
When Abram was 99 years old, God appeared to him and changed his name.
"No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you a father of many nations." Genesis 17:5 Abraham means "father of many nations." Imagine everyone continually calling him, "Father of Many Nations!" About a year later, his son Isaac was born!
When you were born of God's Spirit you became a new creation in Christ Jesus. 2 Corinthians 5:17
We establish our new identity by believing and speaking what God says about us ... just like Abraham. It's the way God's Kingdom operates. After all, it's the way you were born again. Romans 10:8-10
"You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways." Job 22:28
