End Days and The Prophets
The Church is living through a season on earth called the End Days.
The pre-season event, before the rapture, includes a wake-up call to the nations to finally do what Jesus commanded before He ascended. “And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” (Matthew 24:12-14)
The gospel of the Kingdom means signs and wonders accompany the preaching of the Word while we “watch” for His return!
Recap of the Past Few Months
To those of us who have been called to intercede for the United States, this time has almost been exhausting, pressing in to retain the foundations of our republic and a President that loves this nation. Then came the month of January and evil took over our nation’s capital.
One might wonder, did God hear our prayers?
Why weren’t they answered? Will God punish the godly with the wicked? God did hear His body praying; after all, we were praying in His Holy Spirit. The view from Heaven: prayers are kept in “golden bowls of incense.” (Revelation 5:8)
We are in a time of God pulling back the blanket of corruption that’s been going on for years. For The Church, it is a time of trusting the Father, knowing that He can’t reveal everything right now.
Walk by faith and not by sight.
Prophecies and Our Present Circumstances
Many Believers seek to hear what the prophets are saying, but I have been reminded that the most accurate prophetic declarations are in the Holy Scriptures. The Minor Prophets have much to reveal about these end days. I have been studying the Book of Zephaniah and noticed so many similarities to our nation’s present circumstances. I would like to encourage you to read it. It’s only three chapters.
Our Father’s anger at national sin and the consequences thereof are Current Events today. God often brings judgment to humble man to repentance, and through repentance comes the Great Awakening, which is an answer to our prayers!
This is that … which Jesus promises to His Church.
“Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.” (Revelation 3:10)
“Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming …” (Mark 13:35)
