The Times and the Seasons
“But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.”
(1 Thessalonians 5:1-2)
You and I were chosen and sent to proclaim the Kingdom of God; a chosen generation! As we are all getting older, our days ahead are less than when we first started. That means they are more important now as we are closer to His return.
“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you.”
(1 Peter 2:9)
The Clock is Ticking
The Body of Christ on earth is so magnificent and more powerful than we know! As time is moving us forward, each day is more important to the Lord. Each of our daily assignments is designed to connect with others we know or don’t know.
You and I have a piece of God’s end-time master plan. Like a puzzle with many pieces, each assignment is vital to the others. Each Believer has an important and unique position in the end-time move of God.
I was led to copy a chapter a day from the Book of Revelation in my notebook. It’s very exciting even though I don’t understand everything I am writing. I remind myself the Apostle John is seeing into earth’s development and future. How could he write about things he has no idea what they are.
Let’s take a look and see what’s going on after you and I, the glorious church, have finished our assignment and are removed from earth by the Lord’s rapture.
Revelation 9:15 – 21
“So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of mankind. Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them. And thus I saw the horses in the vision: those who sat on them had breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow; and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and brimstone. By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed—by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which came out of their mouths. For their power is in their mouth and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents, having heads; and with them they do harm.
But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk. And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.”
The After Effects
When the righteous are removed, righteousness is removed from earth.
What is left? Lawlessness and debauchery!
Satan’s kingdom rules and reigns with no acknowledgement or punishment for wrong doing. They did not repent.
What is repentance?
* Repentance implies sad and humble realization of and regret for one's misdeeds
* The act of showing that you are very sorry for something bad you have done; this involves change from unrighteous actions to righteous actions
* The ability to repent is something God gives—it is only possible because of His grace.
When The Church of Jesus Christ is gone, so is law and order.
See what happens next:
*No repentance of their murders
*No repentance of their sorceries (the art, practices, or spells of a person who uses supernatural powers through the aid of evil spirits; black magic; witchery.
*No repentance of sexual immorality
*No repentance of their thefts
Lawlessness Means: No Laws!
When The Church is removed, so is the power of righteousness that holds back perversions and deviant behavior. When we area gone, rampant lawlessness will cover all the cities and nations of earth.

When Jesus described the end days in Matthew Chapter 24 & 25, He also gave them a warning: The Parable of the Wise and Foolish Virgins.
Don’t let the busyness of this world steal your time in God’s Word. It is how we remain righteous against lawlessness!
