- Pray for each county in the state you live in. Own your state!

- Get alone - Get quiet.
- Read the foundation scriptures: Isaiah 40: 3-11 and also Ezekiel 37:1-14.

- Pray in the Spirit. Praying in tongues taps into the power of Holy Spirit. He is there to lead and to guide you into things you do not know about. There is nothing else to compare this experience with!
- Enter prayer with worship, being thankful and hopeful for what the Lord is doing in your state and the nation, rather than what the news media says. There are so many people praying. Pray for: The Glorious Church, the Lost, and Elected Officials
The Church: Jesus desires a glorious church without spot or wrinkle or any such thing. See Ephesians 5:25-27.
Pray that The Church, the magnificent Body of Christ, with all its diversities of gifts, differences of ministries, and diversities of activities manifest in fullness and maturity now. Pray that each member of the Body will fulfill their call and flow under the direction of the Holy Spirit. You might read Ephesians, Chapter 1, over The Church. Be sure to pray for the Pastors in your state.
The Lost:
Pray for the lost to be hungry for the gospel. Cast devils of lawlessness and rebellion off the lost. Pray for Holy Spirit to come upon them. Pray that a spirit of repentance fall upon them. Plead the Blood of Jesus on your cities and counties; bring them under the covering and power of the Holy Spirit and His angels.
Many of the unsaved think they know "all about that Jesus stuff" because they have heard a lot of religious tradition in the past. Let's pray for people to come into contact with Jesus and the power of His Holy Spirit!
Elected Leaders
Of course, many in this category are lost also. God knows how to get to them and also knows how to remove them. Pray in tongues. Listen for what Holy Spirit wants prayed out. You might start with 1 Timothy 2:1-6.
Never underestimate the power of faith and prayer.
I like Hebrews 11:33-34, "... who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions ... out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle ." That's the power of prayer!

The Journal
Many years ago, someone suggested I record what the Lord was showing me in a journal. So I began the practice of writing down my thoughts, impressions, and words the Lord had spoken to me in prayer. I also use my notebook during my Bible study time. Most recently I have been writing down the passage I am reading. Then I go back and look for words that stand out to me and circle them. Then I look them up in Vines Dictionary. Reading and studying the Bible are two different things. Studying the scriptures is like searching for hidden treasure and finding it! Digging helps to mature the Believer! Look up: This is that... 9.26.19 to find out how I study my Bible.
My Bible and my journal are always together, like my right hand and my left hand.
Those of you who journal know how effective it is, not only for future reference but writing can also slow down a busy mind so that we can focus and concentrate better; something very necessary in these days!
Writing in your journal also gives the Holy Spirit, our Wonderful Counselor, the opportunity to reveal hidden things that might need to be corrected in our lives to make us more joyful and happy in life.
Looking back over more than thirty years, I can see there would have been a gigantic hole in my life without my journal and the recording of hidden treasures of a life shared with Jesus. He has taught me so much and His teachings fill the pages of my journals that sit on my book case. They also have filled my heart and continue to bring joy to my life.
