This is that ...

On the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit came...

Many Jews were confused and marveled, “Whatever can this mean?”

Then Peter standing up raised his voice and began to speak. “These are not drunk as you suppose...but this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel...” (Acts 2:16)

This is that... is a resource to reveal, and give light to scripture...by comparing scripture to scripture. Only God can reveal God. Only His Spirit can “guide us into all truth.” (John 16:13)

This is that…7.11.22
T
he Power of Tongues
If I pray in tongues, my spirit prays. (1 Corinthians 14:14)

My spirit is releasing what I didn’t know I knew. Scripture reveals I am a spirit, I have a soul, I live in a body. My spirit can never ever be alone. Holy Spirit of God lives there: Spirit/spirit—entwined in perfection. Information, knowledge of the unknown, abides in this sanctuary vault. Therein is the One who formed what Elohim spoke in Genesis Chapter One.

Holy Spirit is all knowing, never tiring, and all powerful.
In the beginning He made light. He made the expanse, the earth, the plants, the heavens, and all that is needed to sustain life. He made man a speaking spirit like God. He is One with Father and Son. And one day He would join with man as man became a new creation that would rule and reign on earth to subdue God’s enemies.

So what is actually taking place when we pray in the Holy Spirit?
You are building yourself up in faith. And faith works through love. We are subduing natural thinking to go into the higher realms of unlimited authority. We are transferring into the realm of God; His Kingdom.

I wrote down my thoughts after 15 minutes of tongues:
Tongues subdues the soul. Tongues edifies or strengthens the inner man, the real you where Holy Spirit abides. Tongues can release heavy burdens onto the Lord. Tongues nourishes my faith with a boost of anointing. You can pray out your future in tongues. Tongues reveals hidden things, hidden information you didn’t know. Tongues brings your thoughts into subjection. Tongues can help you rule your emotions. Tongues can pray out your future day. Tongues can release the Kingdom of God. Tongues transfers you into the spirit realm. Tongues is heart to heart communication with Father and Jesus. Tongues can be discerned by the Angelic Armies of God.. Tongues gives you the freedom of joy. Tongues can help you think right. Tongues is Holy Spirit language. Tongues can give you knowledge of something only God knows. Tongues is a never-ending supply of power given to strengthen God’s child. Tongues not released causes an inward frustration to the new man. Tongues released can go into your future and pray out mysteries.

“… be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.”
(Ephesians 4:23-24)
You were born again not of corruptible seed, but incorruptible through the Word of God. (1 Peter 1:23) That is when you were seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 2:6) The new man will grow exceedingly as he develops his Kingdom language.

There’s no end to searching out God’s Holy Spirit who dwells within you and me! (Isaiah 40:25-31)

Praying in tongues is the precursor of power.
“...the Kingdom of God suffers violence and the violent take it be force.” (Matthew 11:12)
“And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 16:19)
“...you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit...” (Acts 1:5)
“...you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you: you shall be witnesses to Me...” (Acts 1:8)

How to Overcome in Perilous Times: Tongues!
“But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit. But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.” (Jude 17-21)

“...I will build My church and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.”
(Matthew 16:18)

“I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.” (Revelation 1:18)

“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.” (Revelation 2:7)

Saints, got 15 minutes to pray in tongues?

Dear Ministers of Intercession,
Gaining Ground and Influence

The Authority of Using our Weapons:
Spirit-filled intercessors who pray in tongues enter into the Spirit realm. Although we have boots on the ground, this is where we are “seated in the heavenly in Christ,” far above principalities and powers to attain glorious victories as we blast through and bind strongholds of demonic influence! (Ephesians 1:3, 1:21 & 2:6) Have you noticed the difference in the heavens after the Supreme Court stood for our Constitution last Friday? Things are open and the Kingdom of God has come for the great Revival of souls! Does one intercessor in their prayer closet have authority to change things? Absolutely! You are one with a multitude of elite soldiers that gather together in the unseen realm. “The Kingdom of God suffers violence but the violent take it by force!” That force is the Holy Spirit within you and me! Intercession joins us to other Believers for a Kingdom purpose, even though we can’t see others or touch them. You are never praying alone.

The Day of Visitation
In my study yesterday of 1 Peter Chapter 2, I felt like I struck gold when I read verses 11 and 12. “Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul, having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles, that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation.” What does this mean, “the day of visitation?”

Bible Hub: One commentator said: “Peter hopes that this close observation of the lives of Christian people would lead the Gentiles to glorify God; he was thinking, perhaps, of our Lord's words in the sermon on the mount: "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

Another comment about “the day of visitation” was, “They did not know the time when God was visiting the heathen with His converting grace.” Someone else commenting also on Matthew Chapter 24 said, “The day of visitation is when God brings things to a crisis—bringing both grace and vengeance.”

Isn’t that profound? We are seeing this take place right before our eyes!

Other translations say the day of visitation is a day of inspection; a day of reward and retribution; a time when He comes to judge; when He visits them; a Day of Judgment; a day of examination when He will judge the world.

When Jesus wept over Jerusalem He was seeing the future destruction of Jerusalem in A.D. 70. He said, “…they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not know the time of your visitation.” (Luke 19:44)

The Day When God Visits
Bible commentator Ellicott writes: “And this will not mean only the great last day, but on whatever occasion God brings matters to a crisis. The visitation is a visitation of the Christians and the heathen alike, and it brings both grace and vengeance, according as men choose to receive it. (See Luke 19:44, and Luke 1:78.)

The Day of Visitation 2022: Judgment!
When God brings things to a crisis—bringing both grace and vengeance!

The Lord reminded me of two passages of scripture that are important for us right now. The Parable of the Tares and Wheat speaks of angels separating God’s worldly children at the end of the age from people that are wicked and delight in lawlessness. (Matthew 13:36-43)

These days we can certainly see an increase of people that delight in doing evil. Quite a change from when we were young.

Insurrection
The second thing God reminded me is found in Numbers Chapter 16. It is the account of those who rose up in rebellion to remove Moses and Aaron from leading God’s nation. God told Moses to separate His people from those leading the insurrection. What was God’s punishment on this violent uprising against authority? God opened up the earth and Korah, his followers, and all their families went down alive into Hell! Two hundred and fifty other leaders that Moses had chosen were also in rebellion. They perished as a “fire came out from the Lord.” Here too we see a separation of people taking place.

The church of 2022 has been warned: “Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?” (2 Corinthians 6:14)

The closer Jesus’ return comes, the more important separation is. We wouldn’t want to be left behind. Keep your oil lamp full! (Matthew 25)
