Who I Am
My husband and I attended a Marriage Encounter Weekend over thirty-five years ago, where much to our surprise, we met Jesus, gave our hearts to Him, and have never been the same since! The two people who left on Friday night returned home Sunday night very different people.
We found our reason for living: Jesus Christ!
A couple of months later I heard teachings on "faith in the anointed Word of God" from Kenneth Copeland and found the joy of my life: the study of God’s Word!
Several months after that, I was baptized in the Holy Spirit and began to attend Bible Study Fellowship classes where I completed their 6 year course of Old and New Testament books. Since then I have taught a number of Bible Studies and led small prayer groups. I was also administrator and teacher for a week-long Healing School at my church and later began a church group called 50 Up! I was also guest speaker at two Women's Aglow meetings.
I began writing my first book, a devotional, in January 2004 after attending my first Christian Writer’s Conference. I have also written a mini-book, and a Bible Study. We joined the Board of Directors of the Christian Writer’s Guild and helped with administrative work and created a monthly newsletter. We helped put on the annual Writer's Conference and I also taught a class one year at Westmont College.
In 2005 I was ordained under the ministry of Evangelism for Christ: a ministry which has started churches here, in Mexico, and in other countries.
Who I Am, continued ...
We have been connected with the Chaplain of the local jail and have given over 2,000 devotionals, mini-books, and study guides to help inmates transform their thinking patterns to line up with what God says about them. We have seen the Lord accomplish much. We give Him all the praise and all the glory!
One morning in January 2011 the Lord led me to start Prayer with Purpose. Please click on the ABOUT US page to read how God started this prayer team. In January 2013 the Lord directed us to expand Prayer with Purpose to the internet.
I’m sure you see the needs of our nation and know that we are the End-Days Church: a generation that have the job of bringing in the harvest of souls.
Prayer always, always, precedes revivals and awakenings. Prayer prepares! Prayer is the road that God moves on.
All of our lives, everything we have learned, and all that God has trained this generation to do is for this hour.
Born for a purpose, born for a time, born for a Kingdom: our reason for living ...
And, we’ve just begun!
Stay ready for His return Saints!
