The Kingdom of God
“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.” (1Timothy 6:12)
Lay hold on eternal life. How? Be determined!
Do not allow anything to move you out of your divine purpose. What you do here for the Kingdom will affect your heavenly future.
“But hold fast what you have till I come. And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations.”
Every day as you endeavor to be bold and fulfill your calling, you are laying hold on eternal life. When all of us are pressing in to the Kingdom of God, His Body on earth is getting stronger and stronger.
The Big Picture: The Spirit Realm
Each Believer has an assignment that corresponds to other Believers, affecting others whether we know them or don’t know them.
Picture a large puzzle with many pieces small and large. They each fit into one another as they are fitted by God’s Spirit. The Body of Christ is a magnificent design of our Creator God; through Him, all are connected as one. If however, one piece becomes weary and tired and begins to let go of his purpose, it may slow down the completion of God’s plan.
“For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.” (1 Corinthians 12:12)
The Authority of Intercession
True and powerful intercession is reached and released by praying in tongues.
This language of power originates from Holy Spirit within the Believer’s spirit. The study of God’s Word every day is as necessary to prayer as eating healthy food is for the body.
He “made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus…(Ephesians 2:6) Releasing your heavenly language will transform your carnal thinking into another realm where your words are anointed to bind demonic forces and loose the Kingdom of God.
Enemy forces are also in the natural unseen heavenly places.
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:12)
Cities filled with crime and evil have camps of wicked spirits over them because the church there has not been taught to bind and loose (Matthew 16:19), but rather to beg God daily to do something. God will not do what He told His Body to do.
Intercessory Assignment from The Kingdom of God!
Get out a map of your state or nation, and pray over the counties/cities. Bind and loose. Start with tongues. It will open doors for you to go through…to vanquish the enemy.
Scriptures to Meditate
“…that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel, and not in any way terrified by your adversaries, which is to them a proof of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that from God.”
(Philippians 1:27-28)
“…that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.” (Ephesians 1:18-23)
“Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.” (Jude 14-15)
