The arrangement or administration by God, by which in the fullness of times (or seasons), God will sum up all things in the heavens and on earth in Christ.”
“In Him we have redemption through His blood…that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him.”
(See Ephesians 1:7-11)
This dispensation will end after the rapture of His church and the seventh year of tribulation, when Jesus returns to establish His thousand year reign on earth.
The Dispensation of the Fullness of the Times
When I was a child the earth was a different place. I walked to my elementary school down a country road with woods on both sides without any fear. These days, caution is the word, no matter where you live or where you go. Crime is up throughout our cities in this nation.
“And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.” (Matthew 24:12) “Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons…” (1Timothy 4:1)
So, be aware of what’s happening, take precautions, but do not fear.
Pray for people everywhere you go. Pray every day for all law enforcement in your city/county to be kept safe. I like to make a quick prayer for them before going to bed every night.
2023: Intercession to Bring in The Harvest
“Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, go down; For the winepress is full, the vats overflow—for their wickedness is great.” (Joel 3:13)
“And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
(Matthew 16:18-19)
“He who gathers in summer is a wise son; He who sleeps in harvest is a son who causes shame.” (Proverbs 10:5)
2023 Prophecy Fulfilled
Two thousand years ago, Jesus said one generation would see a horrific change in society. (Matthew 24:34) We have entered into those times of tribulation but also the days of the great harvest of the earth! Time is short. Be bold everywhere you go to share Jesus. Start a conversation. Ask people, “Are you born again?”
One Generation: Jesus is coming!
The population of earth in the 1950’s was about 4 billion people. That has now doubled to 8 billion…in one generation!
A good example of the fullness of times is when a pregnant woman comes into her ninth month of pregnancy. The closer she gets to the birth date, the more irritable and uncomfortable the mother becomes. The baby has now grown and the weight is causing much pressure. That pressure is felt by everyone!
Once again, I think back to my childhood. I remember, as a preteen, my mother asking me to walk to the store and buy a loaf of bread. We lived in the country. My mother never worried about my safety. These days I have had to tell my family to be aware of where they are going. Think about where you are hiking.
As these end days come closer to the rapture of His Body, we remain fervent to the call we received years ago: “Bring in the harvest!”
But be watching. Jesus could come at any time.
