The Year 2024: Good or bad?
That will depend on your commitment.
Good for those who are more fervent still for God’s Kingdom; bad for those who will get caught in the pull called worldliness. That current is going to get much stronger in 2024.
Rip currents along the Pacific Ocean have pulled more than one strong swimmer out to sea and to their death. In 2024 even strong Intercessors must guard their hearts and time with God in His Word…every day! It’s a year like no other because Jesus’ return is getting closer or may come this year. Remember Jesus said “Watch.”
The Book of Jude
Suggestion: Read the Book of Jude
Writing the words of Jude in your journal will give you more insight into its revelations. It is a short book and loaded with what I believe is coming in 2024.
I believe we can expect God’s judgments coming in 2024 because of the rampant explosion of wickedness throughout the nations of earth. I saw the times ahead like people at an amusement park who are on one of those giant roller coasters: speeding up and down, being jerked from one side then to the other side. Some may think this fun until they find themselves chained to it, unable to escape.
Christians who were once separated and holy are going to yield to evil and get caught. How can this be? They let go of their Bible…
“We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.”
(1 John 5:18-19)
2024: Division of Light and Dark
The Lord is separating His holy church from the world.
Spirit-filled Believers are seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, far above principalities, power and might and every name that is named. “And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.”
(Ephesians 1:22-23)
As society continues to submit to perverted evil ways, The Glorious Church will become more powerful and separated, operating in those heavenly places in Christ. Praying in tongues opens the door into those holy places where we bind devils and loose God’s Kingdom. Practice praying in tongues throughout your day; it builds up your inner man. This will keep all of us from stumbling into griping and complaining.
The Peril of Not Progressing in 2024
“Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. And this we will do if God permits. For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame. For the earth which drinks in the rain that often comes upon it, and bears herbs useful for those by whom it is cultivated, receives blessing from God; but if it bears thorns and briers, it is rejected and near to being cursed, whose end is to be burned.”
(Hebrews 6:1-8)
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’”
(Matthew 7:21-23)
2024: Jesus’ Return?
Jesus said in Matthew 24:36-44 that one person would be taken and one would be left behind. Then He said: “Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you least expect.”
Matthew 25:1-13 is the Parable of the Wise and Foolish Virgins. Jesus ends His parable saying: “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.”
Years ago I remember thinking of time as something like a large funnel. As time was progressing, we on earth were sliding down into the smaller end of the funnel. This could also be an example of a woman in labor getting close to her delivery time and the labor becoming much more difficult.
A farmer during harvest time has the difficult task of bringing in the harvest. Earth is ready to be harvested, Saints, and as Intercessors our most important assignments are before us. God’s Spirit in you will call you into times of extraordinary and wonderful experiences to harvest the nations. Get out your map and He will tell you what areas need to be prayed over. You may be joining with others already there…“Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing.” (Matthew 24:46)
“Lord Jesus, help us to be ready!”
“Doing the work will help to keep you on track and ready for My return.”
