Praying for: Your Father’s desire.
Really? Praying for God?
Yes.
“In this manner, therefore, pray:
‘Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.’” (Matthew 6:9-10)
Jesus was praying for Father’s Kingdom to come to earth. He told us to pray the same words. If a friend asks me to pray for a situation, as I pray I am interceding on their behalf, right? Jesus has asked His body to pray for His Father’s will to be done. Why? This is how Father’s Kingdom comes to earth. How? When a soul repents and prays for Jesus to come into their heart. (See Romans 10:8-10)
As Jesus comes to abide in them so does the Kingdom of God.
“The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”
(Luke 17:20-21)
When we pray for God’s will to be done, people become a new creation. Wickedness stops.
Interceding for Nations, Cities and our Families
Intercessors are doing their assignment in two different realms.
As I pray for the lost in my city, because the Kingdom is within me, I am moving in the spiritual realm, “the heavenly places in Christ where I am already seated.” (Ephesians 1:3 & 2:6) Tongues will advance your position and empower you with anointed words that dislocate demonic strongholds. And you’re never alone. We on earth, and the *great cloud of witnesses that have gone before us, are one through Christ’s eternal Body, and we’re determined to save the lost everywhere! Multitudes are suffering and without hope. We have the answer and we’re on call: whether out and about or in a meeting or in our prayer closet, we are to step it up now like never before. As repentance comes on the lost, God’s Kingdom expands as people are set free to be holy and do God’s will. The greatest harvest of souls is now. This is how the Kingdom comes to change the earth.
“Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.” (James 5:7-8)
We are there Saints. The latter rain is here! It started when Israel became a nation. This generation will see His return. (Luke 21:29-32) Praise God!
The clock is ticking. As time is moving us closer to the *end of the six-day earth lease, pressure is building as time is running out. Pray!!! And keep your lamp full of oil! (Matthew 25:1-13)
