Two Women
Judges Chapters 4 and 5 are so interesting. Four characters stand out to me:
Deborah, a prophetess and a judge in Israel.
Barak, great commander of the army of Israel, once told Deborah he would not deploy his troops for battle unless Deborah would go with him. (Judges 4: 8)
Sisera, commander of the great and wicked Canaanite army who was sent to annihilate Israel.
Jael, wife of Heber the Kenite, invited the wicked General Sisera into her tent and when he was asleep got a hammer and a peg and drove it into his head and killed him! (Judges 5:24-27)
Judges chapter 4 reveals the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord. This is because they began to worship other gods, wanting to be like the other nations around them: they turned away from the Holy Commandments…
We Christians, who came out of the revival of the 1970’s, are getting older. We remember the days when the United States was united as one nation under God, under His ways, whether Christian or Jew.
Well, what has happened?
Could it be that when the murder of the unborn became legal in 1973, and now 64 million babies have died legally, could it be that opened more doors of debauchery throughout our nation?
God’s Wrath on Unrighteousness
Romans 1:18-32
“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.
“For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
“Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.
“Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.
“And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.” (Pastors, wake up!!!)
What shall we say then?
Is it all hopeless?
Intercession of Two Women
Deborah the prophetess and Jael, the soldier’s wife, interceded for the nation of Israel. What did the Lord do? He brought a great victory! The last verse in Judges Chapter 5 says, “So the land had rest for forty years.”
We who have been called to intercede for our nation have God’s Holy Spirit in us to guide us into areas that only praying in tongues can get into to bring deliverance and victory! In the natural, it seems hopeless, but let’s remember the victory that God brought forth when Israel was also under judgment.
The Year 2024
Since the close of this age gets closer everyday, it may be that as we are praying, calling for our cities to repent, the sound of the trumpet may blow and we will be caught up together to meet the Lord in the air!
Either way, until then…work the works of Him who called us! You and I were born for such a time as this!
Never leave your post vacant in the spirit!
Remember Jael…just a wife at home…with a hammer…

What about April 8th ???
The Solar Eclipse!
What is it? An eclipse happens when the moon passes between the sun and the earth. The last solar eclipse was in 2017.
(NASA website) https://spaceplace.nasa.gov/eclipse-snap/en/
Because Texas will experience the full eclipse, multitudes of people are planning to be there to see it in person. So…hotels rooms are all booked! There may be some electrical outages and possibly food and gas shortages due to the increase of people. So, some people are stocking up, which, in itself may cause problems.
Eagle Mountain Int’l Church in Fort Worth, Texas, had Pastor Terri talk about this event on Sunday, March 24th at the end of their church service.
Pastor Hank Kunnerman had a prophetic Word from the Lord about this eclipse: its four minutes long. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2DxdbTSAd3A
Intercessors Alert!
Get a map of the areas that will experience the eclipse. Pray over the cities and towns that might experience a large increase in their population.
Pray in the Holy Spirit now. Be led.
Let’s remember the intervention of two women: Deborah and Jael…
Let’s always remember WHO was guiding them…He who is in you!
Prayer with Purpose
The Lord has been reminding me to attach all my prayers to HIS PURPOSE,
like, “Lord, renew my youth like the eagle so that I may continue to release the Kingdom of God to this earth.”
Or, something like…
“Father use this event on April 8th to bring the multitudes to salvation, to believe that You made the heavens and the earth (Romans 1:20), that You sent Your Son to pay the price for their sin and that You love them and have eternal life for them. Lord, help them get born again, in Jesus’ name.”
We’re praying for you…attached to His tremendous love for you!
