"Your ears shall hear a word behind you,
saying,
'This is the way, walk in it,'
whenever you turn to the right hand
or whenever you turn to the left."
Isaiah 30:21
______________________________________________________________

Dear Saints,
WORDS AND THE PLAN OF GOD

Those of us who are called to pray must be Word people.

We continue in a daily regimen of fellowship with God as we study the scriptures. We are not only readers of God’s Word but doers of God’s word. The more Word we sow in our heart, the more effective our prayers will be. John 15:7

Everything in God’s Kingdom produces after its own kind. The Word is living seed that when deposited in the good ground of your heart will produce faith. And faith changes things! This is the victory that overcomes the world! 1 John 5:4

IN THE BEGINNING
“Then God said, ‘Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.’” Genesis 1:26

God created the heavens and earth by speaking words. See Genesis 1 and Hebrews 11:3. God began His family by speaking words of life. From Genesis through Revelation we see the enormous power of God’s words and also the power of man’s words.

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue…” Proverbs 18:21
Read James 3:1-12.

Eternal life depends on words:
“For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:10

Your words are connected to what is in your heart. Words are containers.

Jesus said, “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.”
Matthew 12:35

THE ASSIGNMENT: SPEAK TO THE ROCK!
REALLY?

“Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, ‘Take the rod; you and your brother Aaron gather the congregation together.

“‘Speak to the rock before their eyes, and it will yield its water; thus you shall bring water for them out of the rock, and give drink to the congregation and their animals.’

“So Moses took the rod from before the Lord as He commanded him. And Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly together before the rock; and he said to them,

“‘Hear now, you rebels! Must we bring water for you out of this rock?’”

“Then Moses lifted his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod; and water came out abundantly, and the congregation and their animals drank.

“Then the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, 'Because you did not believe Me, to hallow Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.' This was the water of Meribah, because the children of Israel contended with the Lord, and He was hallowed among them.” Numbers 20:7-13

Moses missed out on his final victory: leading God’s children into the Promised Land.

The carnal mind is enmity
against God for it is not subject to the law of God. Romans 8:7

OBEDIENCE IS BETTER THAN SACRIFICE
“Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices
as much as in obeying the Lord?
To obey is better than sacrifice,
and to heed is better than the fat of rams.” 1 Samuel 15:22

If we read Numbers 20:1-7, we can see that Moses was very angry with the whining and complaints coming from the tribes of Israel. When that anger was released it derailed the perfect will of God and Moses followed his own plan to hit the rock twice with his rod.

There were not only repercussions in Moses life for this disobedience, but also to the Israelites. The demonstration of man’s God given authority over the earth through the power of words was not revealed. Genesis 1:28

THE AUTHORITY OF THE GLORIOUS CHURCH

“Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away. So Jesus answered and said to them, ‘Have faith in God.

“‘For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, “Be removed and be cast into the sea,” and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.’” Mark 11:21-23

“The seventy-two returned with joy and said, ‘Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.’ He replied,
“‘I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.’”
Luke 10:17-19

THE STORM
Jesus and His disciples got into a boat to travel to the country of the Gadarenes to deliver a demon possessed man living in a graveyard. On the way they encountered a horrific windstorm and they began to sink. Jesus rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. Then Jesus rebuked His disciples. “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?” See Mark 4:35-41.

Moses, speak to the rock!
Christian, speak to the mountain! Speak to the wind. Speak to the sea.
Cast out/speak to demons. Speak to sickness and disease. Speak to yourself.

How? Have faith in God! Have faith in His Word and expect results! Have confidence in your words.

TAKE HEED
Moses killed a soldier when he saw him beating a Hebrew. Once again, years later, wrath exploded in Moses life,  but now toward his brethren.  Moses anger bore the nasty fruit of not listening to God and honoring Him before the children of Israel.  Number 20:12

Moses decision, followed by his action, kept Moses out of the Promised Land.

Can the same thing happen to praying Christians who walk with God everyday?

There are consequences to wrath, bitterness, and unforgiveness in the heart. Mark 11:25-26  Don’t ignore it. Deal with it or it will deal with your ministry.

Praying people cannot see mountains move without faith.
And faith works through love.

“So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God. Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.” James 1:19-21

THE NEW CREATION
MAN
“Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

“Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.” Ephesians 4:29-32

“But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth.” Colossians 3:8

“Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.

“But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.”
Colossians 3:12-14

GROWING UP IN HIM

If you’ve ever been to a preschool and watched toddlers interacting with each other you can quickly see they need constant supervision on how to be nice to one another. I recently heard a story about two women having an argument in a local Walmart store. As things escalated, security was called. One woman left the store, went to her car and waited until the other woman came out and then ran her over with her car. Thank God she survived but it makes me wonder what would cause such a fit of insanity?

SIGNS OF THE TIMES

“And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” Matthew 24:12-14

“… be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.”
Ephesians 4:23-24

Saints, if you are in disagreement with elected officials, be on guard about what you’re saying about them. Do you have wrath in your heart toward them? If so, don’t you think it will hinder your prayers for them?

“For he who would love life
And see good days,
Let him refrain his tongue from evil,
And his lips from speaking deceit.

“Let him turn away from evil and do good;
Let him seek peace and pursue it.
For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
And His ears are open to their prayers;
But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” 1 Peter 3:10-12

"You are the light of the world ...
Let your light so shine before men,
that they may see your good works
and glorify
your Father in heaven."

Matthew 5:14 & 16

THE END DAYS CHURCH
The Glorious Church

“For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
And deep darkness the people;
But the Lord will arise over you,
And His glory will be seen upon you.
The Gentiles shall come to your light,
And kings to the brightness of your rising.”  Isaiah 60:2-3

“For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.” Habakkuk 2:14

End Days Warnings
Born again believers are ambassadors of another Kingdom that is far greater in power than this earthly one.  Psalm 103:19  "For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ ... "  Philippians 3:20

Each member of Christ’s body has been given an important assignment. Each of these assignments hook-up with other assignments to complete a glorious tapestry of God’s workmanship. Each calling must be fulfilled now.

If one Believer begins to backslide other members will suffer, and so will those who are in the world’s system hungering for answers.  Read 1 Corinthians 12:12-27.

Your well being is so important, Beloved.

Remember, we are in the world but we are not of this world’s system of beliefs or its ways. They are moving deeper and deeper into sin, darkness and chaos.

Jesus said, “If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.” John 15:19

The Distress of Nations
“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring…” Luke 21:25

“Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.”
Luke 21:32-33

“See that you fear not!”  ... the Word of the Lord.

How do you handle distress?

Darkness, stress, and pressure are all around us.
Jesus warned us:
“But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with
  • carousing,
  • drunkenness,
  • and cares of this life,
  • and that Day come on you unexpectedly.
  • For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth.
“Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”  Luke 21:34-36

Walk in Wisdom:  Possess Your Soul!
“See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
  • “And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation;
  • but be filled with the Spirit,
  • speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,
  • singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord,
  • giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
  • submitting to one another in the fear of God.” Ephesians 5:14-21
Did you know that a cluttered heart that is weighed down with cares and worries will not only choke the Word sown in your heart and steal your faith, but it can also lead to discouragement and depression, leading to drinking alcohol, taking drugs and carousing?

The children of Israel desired to go back to Egypt, to their comfort zone and slavery, rather than persevere in faith and overcome the fear of trusting in God’s plan to take the land.

Saints, let us be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might!
Let’s run our race all the way to the end overcoming every obstacle of deception and proclaim our faith like Caleb did:

“… here I am this day, eighty-five years old.  As yet I am as strong this day as on the day that Moses sent me; just as my strength was then, so now is my strength for war, both for going out and for coming in. Now therefore, give me this mountain of which the Lord spoke in that day; for you heard in that day how the Anakim were there, and that the cities were great and fortified. It may be that the Lord will be with me, and I shall be able to drive them out as the Lord said.”

“And Joshua blessed him, and gave Hebron to Caleb the son of Jephunneh as an inheritance.” Joshua 14:10-13

Darkness (Deception) Shall cover the People ...
“What then shall we say to these things?

“If God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31

And God is with us!
“Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire.” Hebrews 12:28-29

“Therefore He says:
‘Awake, you who sleep,
Arise from the dead,
And Christ will give you light.’” Ephesians 5:14

THE LIGHT WITHIN
We have a glorious Kingdom within us. It cannot be shaken.
We have the Holy Spirit, our Divine Coach, within us.
If we follow Him every day, He will lead us and guide us in peace and joy: in God’s favor, protection, and blessings; for the righteous are as bold as a lion. Fear not!

Be aware of your thoughts and feelings. They need to be dominated by God’s Word, which knows right from wrong.

BEING READY
I don’t know about you, but I’m looking for the return of the Lord in the air.
  • “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout,
  • with the voice of an archangel,
  • and with the trumpet of God.
  • And the dead in Christ will rise first.
  • Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together
  • with them in the clouds
  • to meet the Lord in the air.
  • And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
  • Therefore comfort one another with these words.” 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18
Do you think Christians who are burdened and fearful and turn to the world with drinking and carousing will go up?

If it didn’t matter how we live, then why would Jesus tell us to beware?
Luke 21:32-36

Saints, let’s be ready.
Occupy til He comes! Luke 19:13

Do what you’ve been trained to do.
And never, ever take offense with someone and drop out of church! Our enemy is not flesh and blood. As the Day of His return approaches, we need to fellowship even more with the Brethren! See Hebrews 10:25.
  • Eat the Bread of Heaven (God’s Word) every morning.
  • Do not cease to pray! Then: Cast all cares onto the Lord!
  • Walk free of all worries!
  • Rejoice often … visit our newest resource: Power Praise
  • Pray in the Spirit
  • Bless the Brethren

Isaiah 41:10
_______________________________________________________________

THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH!

FAITH IS LIVING A LIFE FROM THE SPIRIT...
FROM THE INSIDE OUT!

Dear people of God who are called to prayer,

Did you believe you received when you prayed?

“Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” Mark 11:24

And someone said, “Oh, I believe in the Holy Scriptures. I know God can do anything!”
Yes, God can do anything.

But if you had used that mindset when you heard the message of salvation, you would not have been born again.

“Well, I believe in the scriptures...”
When I sit at my dining room table I believe in the food on my plate, but I need to eat it to receive it into my body. Your spirit man needs to eat and receive God’s promises, personally.  (Study the steps of faith given in Romans 8:8-10.)

God’s Word is a live wire to spark the inner man and produce faith. John 6:63
Faith in God will produce things that are impossible and unseen in this natural realm.
Jesus said, faith in God is required for Him to move the mountain in your life.
Mark 11:22-23

YOU’RE A MIRACLE!
“For by grace you have been saved through faith...” Ephesians 2:8

You were born again of God’s seed, a new creation in Christ Jesus, transferred out of the kingdom of darkness and into the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ, free from sin’s dominion! See 1 Peter 1:23, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Colossians 1:13-14, Romans 6:14.

What a miracle, hidden from the foundation of the world—Christ in you the hope of glory! This is the Glorious Church! See Ephesians 3:9, Colossians 1:27, Ephesians 5:27.

THEREFORE, WHEN YOU PRAY BELIEVE YOU RECEIVE AND YOU WILL HAVE

Definition of Receive: to take into one's possession (something offered or delivered); to acquire, obtain.

Definition of Possession: the act or fact of possessing; ownership; title; occupancy. In law - actual holding or occupancy, either with or without rights of ownership.

So, did you believe you received when you prayed? Did you, your inner man, take possession of what you desired? Did you take ownership of God’s promise in your inner man when you prayed? Have you taken up occupancy of the desired end? Do you see yourself as having obtained what you asked for?

Many times so much clutter is in our heart that the promise cannot take root and grow up. Something unseen is busy choking it.

We are surrounded with ideas and beliefs that are contrary to God’s promises of health, prosperity, deliverance, etc.

Unbelief is the silent killer of faith. So is worry and care.

“Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word, and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.” Mark 4:18-19

"And whenever you stand praying ... forgive ...
" Mark 11:25
Always remember faith and unforgiveness cannot sleep in the same bed.
One will kick the other out!

Jesus tells us how to live victoriously in the year 2014:

"FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH... " 1 Timothy 6:12

“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:31-33

“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ…” 2 Corinthians 10:4-5

Jesus will not do this for us, Saints. The ball is in our court on this one!

PRAYER WITH PURPOSE:
Praying for Every County of Your State

The last few weeks our lessons have focused on the great importance of keeping our mind renewed daily to God’s word. Joshua was an effective and courageous leader of Israel who led millions of God’s children to take the Promised Land, where the giants were. How did he accomplish such victories? He heard and followed God’s instructions to meditate on The Law day and night. Then he followed God’s strategies to take the land, which by the way, changed often.

IMPOSSIBLE: THE WALLS OF JERICHO
“So the people shouted when the priests blew the trumpets. And it happened when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat. Then the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.” Joshua 6:20

How did they take the city? They heard and did what God said.

How can we have revival in our counties?
By hearing and being led by the Holy Spirit in prayer, believe for the impossible, and receive what God wants to do.

Receive your authority from God’s Word. Declare the decree!

Hear the Word of the Lord to you today:

“And I have put My words in your mouth;
I have covered you with the shadow of My hand,
That I may plant the heavens,
Lay the foundations of the earth,
And say to Zion, ‘You are My people.’” Isaiah 51:16

“Thus you shall say to them: ‘The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth shall perish from the earth and from under these heavens.’” Jeremiah 10:11

“Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me:
‘Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.
See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms,
To root out and to pull down,
To destroy and to throw down,
To build and to plant.’” Jeremiah 1:9-10

“And they shall rebuild the old ruins,
They shall raise up the former desolations,
And they shall repair the ruined cities,
The desolations of many generations.
Strangers shall stand and feed your flocks,
And the sons of the foreigner
Shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.
But you shall be named the priests of the Lord,
They shall call you the servants of our God.
You shall eat the riches of the Gentiles,
And in their glory you shall boast.” Isaiah 61:4-6

“Arise, shine;
For your light has come!
And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
And deep darkness the people;
But the Lord will arise over you,
And His glory will be seen upon you.
The Gentiles shall come to your light,
And kings to the brightness of your rising.” Isaiah 61:1-3

“For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.” Habakkuk 2:14

Saints,
“Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand…” Joel 2:1

A CHOSEN GENERATION: 1 Peter 2:9-10
Even with all the negative aspects of living life on earth in the year 2014, I know you’ll agree that it is a privilege to be chosen to live in the time just prior to the spectacular return of Jesus in the air which will usher in the beginning of the great Day of the Lord!

Your assignment must be made known to you and must be accepted to fulfill it. No one wants to hear, “Badly done, thou rebellious, ignorant servant!”

There’s no excuse, Saints! Remember the Parable of The Talents?
Read Matthew 25:14-30.

Our last lesson covered the importance of praying the Ephesians 1:17-23 prayer which connects us to the revealed knowledge of His calling.

It's the love of Christ that compels us.

“Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”
See Matthew 25:21 & Revelation 2:26-29.

One of the assignments given to this End Days Church is to make Jesus’ enemy His footstool. Hebrews 1:10-13

Many Christians are timid when it comes to taking authority over the devil. Why?

What if David had become frightened at Goliath’s words, “Come to me, and I will give your flesh to the birds of the air and the beasts of the field!” He would have run and hid from his enemy and Israel would have suffered tremendous defeat.

How did David respond to his enemy?
He spoke words of faith!

“You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you.

“And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.

“Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.

“So it was, when the Philistine arose and came and drew near to meet David, that David hurried and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine.” 1 Samuel 17:45-48

What amazing courage!
And so it was, David struck the giant with a stone that penetrated his forehead, and Goliath fell on his face to the earth and David took Goliath’s sword and cut off his head!

What a victory!
David knew his assignment! David knew his covenant rights. He knew who he was, and most importantly, he knew who God was.

The angel Gabriel put it this way:
“For with God nothing will be impossible.” Luke 1:37

Do you suppose Gabriel knows something about how the Kingdom of God operates?

What is the enemy saying to you? Don’t flee from him, he is to flee from you!
1 Peter 5:8-9

What did Jesus do when the tempter came to Him in the desert?
He spoke the divine will of God! “It is written…”
See Matthew 4:1-11 & Hebrews 4:12.

ORDERS FROM HEADQUARTERS:
“We are more than conquerors!” Romans 8:37
Jesus gave this assignment to His disciples over 2,000 years ago and that assignment continues to The Church to this day:

“Go into all the world
and preach the gospel to every creature.
He who believes and is baptized will be saved;
but he who does not believe will be condemned.

“And these signs will follow those who believe:
In My name they will cast out demons;
they will speak with new tongues;
they will take up serpents;
and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them;
they will lay hands on the sick,
and they will recover.”  Mark 16:15-18

OVERCOMERS AND BOLDNESS
Jesus has already disarmed principalities and powers!

“And when he had disarmed the rulers and the authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in the cross.” Colossians 2:15

“Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”  John 14:12-14

“But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool.”
Hebrews 10:12-13

“… to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places,  according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.” Ephesians 3:9-12

“… that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel, and not in any way terrified by your adversaries, which is to them a proof of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that from God.” Philippians 1:27-28

“For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” 1 John 3:8

“I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.” Revelation 1:18

Meditate and study these scriptures before your prayer time.

Scripture has the ability to reproduce after its own kind. When you receive God’s Word into your heart it will become a part of your spirit man to strengthen you.

RENEWING THE MIND
The last few lessons have focused on the importance of renewing the mind to scripture.

Before Joshua led millions of God’s children into the Promised Land, where the giants were, God gave Joshua instructions: “Moses is dead; arise and go!” God told Him the land was his. “No man shall be able to stand against you…Be strong and very courageous.” God told Joshua to keep the Word in his mouth, meditate in it day and night and do what it says. “For then you will make your way prosperous and then you will have good success.”
Read Joshua 1:1-9.

Joshua was a good and faithful servant, strong and mighty in battle because He followed the plan and renewed his thoughts to God’s plan.

Renewing the mind to the scriptures is an absolute necessity to overcome ALL the fiery darts of the enemy. Ephesians 6:16. This is how we overcome and remain strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

And yet God has given us another way …

FLIP IT …
PRAISE HIM! See Psalm 8:2.

Anointed praise/worship music can catapult you out of the natural mind that is being inundated with problems and quickly “flip it around,” putting them under your feet. It will blast your spirit man into a heart of thanksgiving. Faith in God can be restored in a few moments, whether we are alone or when we assemble with the Saints.

Heartfelt praise and worship embraces God.

The light of total praise is an embrace of power. It can defuse thoughts that are concentrated on darkness and transform the inner man (spirit and soul) into his rightful, blood-bought place of true liberty.

That freedom begins in your heart.
Praise and worship can renew the mind in moments, from carnal captivity, to the throne room of God’s grace, favor and joy…into the very Presence of Almighty God…your Father.

“God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
John 4:24

Try it!

We have a new addition to this website. It's called POWER PRAISE. It is a selection of songs that are on You Tube that are vibrant and full of praise to our God.  New songs will be added to the list as I find them.

"Let them praise His name with the dance;
Let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp.
For the LORD takes pleasure in His people;
He will beautify the humble with salvation." Psalm 149:3-4

"But those who wait on the LORD
shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles
they shall run and not be weary,
they shall walk and not faint."

Dear Saints,
If you missed the last lesson, scroll down before continuing on with this week’s lesson.

We are taking our seat in heavenly places in Christ Jesus!
Ephesians 2:6

In the spirit realm, we have already been raised up together and made to sit together in Christ Jesus. Many Believers are not experiencing the benefits of their rightful place in Christ because of a lack of knowledge and will suffer because of that lack. See Hosea 4:6

THE TICKET
Years ago I heard this story. A poor man scrimped and saved his money to buy a ticket for passage on a ship to America. He had carefully packed a meagerly supply of food. As the ship was coming into New York Harbor, another passenger commented about how good the food was. “Oh,” said the poor man, “I only had enough money to buy the ticket for passage.”

“Sir, didn’t you know that your ticket came with all your meals paid for?”

You and I will not experience the benefits of this heavenly place in Christ without renewing our mind to what the Bible says, and further, acting on what it says. The world we live in thinks differently than the ways of God. Renewing our mind to the scriptures is the foundation of life where separation from the world takes place. Romans 12:1-2

What are we all about? What’s our mission?

“Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is done in heaven.”
Matthew 6:10  All of our assignments fall under Jesus’ prayer. That includes the fulfillment of His own assignment on the cross.
“… nevertheless not My will but Yours be done.”  Luke 22:42

PLEASING FATHER
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6

Those Believers developed in love and faith will live and think according to God’s Word. It’s a daily process of submission. “The just shall live by faith.” Habakkuk 2:4
Faith begins where the will of God is known and acted on—from the inside out.

NOT PLEASING GOD
“But He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?”
Read Mark 4:35-41

“Then Jesus answered and said, ‘O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you?’ Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, ‘Why could we not cast it out?’

“So Jesus said to them, ‘Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, “Move from here to there,” and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.  However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.’” Read Matthew 17:14-21

The Challenge: In the World—Not of the World!
“I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.  They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by your truth. Your word is truth.” John 17:15-17

The carnal mind is a worldly mind and is opposed to God and faith. See Romans 8:8 .
Don’t look to your senses for what you believe. Look to the Living Word.

BREAKING THROUGH BARRIERS
We’ve been looking at breaking through barriers:
  • Breakthroughs in revelation knowledge take us from this natural realm into the Spirit.
  • Breakthroughs in faith take us out of the natural worldly supply into the unlimited resources and power of the Kingdom of God, where Jesus said, “…all things are possible to him who believes.” Mark 9:23
The prayer given to Paul from the Holy Spirit in Ephesians 1:16-23 is asking the Father to give His children “the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God.”

In God’s system, we have to ask for what He wants to give us. Selah

Mysteries of the Kingdom
God wants to release the supernatural by opening the eyes of our understanding. When we see who we are and what Jesus has provided for us we will advance in the blessings of living by faith the way Jesus did. Seeing and knowing the mysteries of the Kingdom bring us into divine unity with our Father and the Lord Jesus.

“And He said to them, ‘To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables…’”
Mark 4:11

Revelation and Dedication
As important as dedication is, we must also have revelation to do the will of God to fulfill His plan for our lives. When the eyes of our heart are flooded with light, great changes happen in our lives. “…the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.”  Daniel 11:32

Prayer is the foundation of knowing God.

One anointed teacher of the faith put it this way:
“If you want life to be different for you, pray the prayer in Ephesians 1:16-23 every day for at least 6 months.”

The Ephesians prayer is a prayer of advancement and development in the Spirit. Revelation is progressive.

Progressive Revelation
The Bible is progressive revelation.
“The law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.”
Galatians 3:24

Jesus told His disciples He wanted to share more truths with them but they could not bear them now. But, he said, when the Spirit of truth has come, more would be revealed.
See John 16:12-15.

God wants to reveal Himself to us and through us. God reveals Himself as we humble ourselves and ask Him to teach us His ways.

Lester Sumrall said,
“Most Christians never progress beyond their initial revelation of God.”

Christ in You ...
You in Christ—John 17
Many teachings from our pulpits emphasize the one aspect of being born again—Jesus come into my heart—and teach us little or nothing about our heavenly seat in Christ.
Who are you in Christ?
Of course, both teachings are needful.

OH! The Riches of the Glory of His Inheritance in the Saints! Ephesians 1:18
Faith is the way to access your inheritance.

This is why we pray the Ephesians 1:17-23 prayer!
See our new addition on this website: The Epistle Prayers

Our walk with God is a lifetime of fellowship, learning about Him and His Kingdom. New light is continually being revealed in God’s Word as we study and as we fellowship with Him in prayer.

Are you in a higher place with the Lord than you were a year ago?
Has your study times gone deeper into the knowledge of Him?

Revelation Changes our Perspective
We’ve been made to sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
What does that mean?

One thing it means is Father has answered His Son’s prayer.

“And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

“Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world."  Read John17:22-24.

The view is different when we see things from God’s perspective.

I have been to the Empire State Building in New York. The view at the top is FAR greater than the experience of being on the street. A breakthrough in revelation enables us to see what God sees. The Spirit of Truth is growing us up from babies to maturity, where we are no longer tossed to and fro with every wind of doctrine by deceitful men.  Ephesians 4:14

Seducing spirits are out there! 1 Timothy 4:1
Be very wise what you read, watch, and listen to.

Growing Up
Just as children progress from elementary school to middle school and then to high school, God’s Spirit is able to reveal and teach us more as we are able to receive more.

God wants us to see things supernaturally so that we can advance into adulthood and do the greater works. We have His Kingdom within us.

We learn from Jesus how He wants us to live life here on earth— walking in the Spirit— living by faith in God—loving one another.

“… I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things. And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him.”

“Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.  And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
John 14:28-32

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

"If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.” John 14:12-14
