"But I am the LORD your God, who divided the sea
whose waves roared
The LORD of hosts is His name.
And I have put My words in your mouth;
I have covered you with the shadow of My hand,
that I may plant the heavens,
lay the foundations of the earth,
and say to Zion,
'You are My people.'"
Isaiah 51:15-16

“Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand…” Joel 2:1
A CHOSEN GENERATION: 1 Peter 2:9-10
Even with all the negative aspects of living life on earth in the year 2014, I know you’ll agree that it is a privilege to be chosen to live in the time just prior to the spectacular return of Jesus in the air which will usher in the beginning of the great Day of the Lord!
Your assignment must be made known to you and must be accepted to fulfill it. No one wants to hear, “Badly done, thou rebellious, ignorant servant!”
There’s no excuse, Saints! Remember the Parable of The Talents?
Read Matthew 25:14-30.
Our last lesson covered the importance of praying the Ephesians 1:17-23 prayer which connects us to the revealed knowledge of His calling.
It's the love of Christ that compels us.
“Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”
See Matthew 25:21 & Revelation 2:26-29.
One of the assignments given to this End Days Church is to make Jesus’ enemy His footstool. Hebrews 1:10-13
Many Christians are timid when it comes to taking authority over the devil. Why?
What if David had become frightened at Goliath’s words, “Come to me, and I will give your flesh to the birds of the air and the beasts of the field!” He would have run and hid from his enemy and Israel would have suffered tremendous defeat.
How did David respond to his enemy?
He spoke words of faith!
“You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you.
“And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.
“Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.
“So it was, when the Philistine arose and came and drew near to meet David, that David hurried and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine.” 1 Samuel 17:45-48
What amazing courage!
And so it was, David struck the giant with a stone that penetrated his forehead, and Goliath fell on his face to the earth and David took Goliath’s sword and cut off his head!
What a victory!
David knew his assignment! David knew his covenant rights. He knew who he was, and most importantly, he knew who God was.
The angel Gabriel put it this way:
“For with God nothing will be impossible.” Luke 1:37
Do you suppose Gabriel knows something about how the Kingdom of God operates?
What is the enemy saying to you? Don’t flee from him, he is to flee from you!
1 Peter 5:8-9
What did Jesus do when the tempter came to Him in the desert?
He spoke the divine will of God! “It is written…”
See Matthew 4:1-11 & Hebrews 4:12.
ORDERS FROM HEADQUARTERS:
“We are more than conquerors!” Romans 8:37
Jesus gave this assignment to His disciples over 2,000 years ago and that assignment continues to The Church to this day:
“Go into all the world
and preach the gospel to every creature.
He who believes and is baptized will be saved;
but he who does not believe will be condemned.
“And these signs will follow those who believe:
In My name they will cast out demons;
they will speak with new tongues;
they will take up serpents;
and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them;
they will lay hands on the sick,
and they will recover.” Mark 16:15-18
OVERCOMERS AND BOLDNESS
Jesus has already disarmed principalities and powers!
“And when he had disarmed the rulers and the authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in the cross.” Colossians 2:15
“Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.” John 14:12-14
“But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool.”
Hebrews 10:12-13
“… to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.” Ephesians 3:9-12
“… that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel, and not in any way terrified by your adversaries, which is to them a proof of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that from God.” Philippians 1:27-28
“For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” 1 John 3:8
“I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.” Revelation 1:18
Meditate and study these scriptures before your prayer time.
Scripture has the ability to reproduce after its own kind. When you receive God’s Word into your heart it will become a part of your spirit man to strengthen you.
RENEWING THE MIND
The last few lessons have focused on the importance of renewing the mind to scripture.
Before Joshua led millions of God’s children into the Promised Land, where the giants were, God gave Joshua instructions: “Moses is dead; arise and go!” God told Him the land was his. “No man shall be able to stand against you…Be strong and very courageous.” God told Joshua to keep the Word in his mouth, meditate in it day and night and do what it says. “For then you will make your way prosperous and then you will have good success.”
Read Joshua 1:1-9.
Joshua was a good and faithful servant, strong and mighty in battle because He followed the plan and renewed his thoughts to God’s plan.
Renewing the mind to the scriptures is an absolute necessity to overcome ALL the fiery darts of the enemy. Ephesians 6:16. This is how we overcome and remain strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
And yet God has given us another way …
FLIP IT …
PRAISE HIM! See Psalm 8:2.
Anointed praise/worship music can catapult you out of the natural mind that is being inundated with problems and quickly “flip it around,” putting them under your feet. It will blast your spirit man into a heart of thanksgiving. Faith in God can be restored in a few moments, whether we are alone or when we assemble with the Saints.
Heartfelt praise and worship embraces God.
The light of total praise is an embrace of power. It can defuse thoughts that are concentrated on darkness and transform the inner man (spirit and soul) into his rightful, blood-bought place of true liberty.
That freedom begins in your heart.
Praise and worship can renew the mind in moments, from carnal captivity, to the throne room of God’s grace, favor and joy…into the very Presence of Almighty God…your Father.
“God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
John 4:24

Try it!
We have a new addition to this website. It's called POWER PRAISE. It is a selection of songs that are on You Tube that are vibrant and full of praise to our God. New songs will be added to the list as I find them.
"Let them praise His name with the dance;
Let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp.
For the LORD takes pleasure in His people;
He will beautify the humble with salvation." Psalm 149:3-4
