"But those who wait on the LORD
shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles
they shall run and not be weary,
they shall walk and not faint."
Isaiah 40:31

We are taking our seat in heavenly places in Christ Jesus!
Ephesians 2:6
In the spirit realm, we have already been raised up together and made to sit together in Christ Jesus. Many Believers are not experiencing the benefits of their rightful place in Christ because of a lack of knowledge and will suffer because of that lack. See Hosea 4:6
THE TICKET
Years ago I heard this story. A poor man scrimped and saved his money to buy a ticket for passage on a ship to America. He had carefully packed a meagerly supply of food. As the ship was coming into New York Harbor, another passenger commented about how good the food was. “Oh,” said the poor man, “I only had enough money to buy the ticket for passage.”
“Sir, didn’t you know that your ticket came with all your meals paid for?”
You and I will not experience the benefits of this heavenly place in Christ without renewing our mind to what the Bible says, and further, acting on what it says. The world we live in thinks differently than the ways of God. Renewing our mind to the scriptures is the foundation of life where separation from the world takes place. Romans 12:1-2
What are we all about? What’s our mission?
“Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is done in heaven.”
Matthew 6:10 All of our assignments fall under Jesus’ prayer. That includes the fulfillment of His own assignment on the cross.
“… nevertheless not My will but Yours be done.” Luke 22:42
PLEASING FATHER
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6
Those Believers developed in love and faith will live and think according to God’s Word. It’s a daily process of submission. “The just shall live by faith.” Habakkuk 2:4
Faith begins where the will of God is known and acted on—from the inside out.
NOT PLEASING GOD
“But He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?”
Read Mark 4:35-41
“Then Jesus answered and said, ‘O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you?’ Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, ‘Why could we not cast it out?’
“So Jesus said to them, ‘Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, “Move from here to there,” and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.’” Read Matthew 17:14-21
The Challenge: In the World—Not of the World!
“I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by your truth. Your word is truth.” John 17:15-17
The carnal mind is a worldly mind and is opposed to God and faith. See Romans 8:8 .
Don’t look to your senses for what you believe. Look to the Living Word.
BREAKING THROUGH BARRIERS
We’ve been looking at breaking through barriers:
- Breakthroughs in revelation knowledge take us from this natural realm into the Spirit.
- Breakthroughs in faith take us out of the natural worldly supply into the unlimited resources and power of the Kingdom of God, where Jesus said, “…all things are possible to him who believes.” Mark 9:23
In God’s system, we have to ask for what He wants to give us. Selah
Mysteries of the Kingdom
God wants to release the supernatural by opening the eyes of our understanding. When we see who we are and what Jesus has provided for us we will advance in the blessings of living by faith the way Jesus did. Seeing and knowing the mysteries of the Kingdom bring us into divine unity with our Father and the Lord Jesus.
“And He said to them, ‘To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables…’”
Mark 4:11
Revelation and Dedication
As important as dedication is, we must also have revelation to do the will of God to fulfill His plan for our lives. When the eyes of our heart are flooded with light, great changes happen in our lives. “…the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.” Daniel 11:32
Prayer is the foundation of knowing God.
One anointed teacher of the faith put it this way:
“If you want life to be different for you, pray the prayer in Ephesians 1:16-23 every day for at least 6 months.”
The Ephesians prayer is a prayer of advancement and development in the Spirit. Revelation is progressive.
Progressive Revelation
The Bible is progressive revelation.
“The law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.”
Galatians 3:24
Jesus told His disciples He wanted to share more truths with them but they could not bear them now. But, he said, when the Spirit of truth has come, more would be revealed.
See John 16:12-15.
God wants to reveal Himself to us and through us. God reveals Himself as we humble ourselves and ask Him to teach us His ways.
Lester Sumrall said,
“Most Christians never progress beyond their initial revelation of God.”
Christ in You ...
You in Christ—John 17
Many teachings from our pulpits emphasize the one aspect of being born again—Jesus come into my heart—and teach us little or nothing about our heavenly seat in Christ.
Who are you in Christ? Of course, both teachings are needful.
OH! The Riches of the Glory of His Inheritance in the Saints! Ephesians 1:18
Faith is the way to access your inheritance.
This is why we pray the Ephesians 1:17-23 prayer!
See our new addition on this website: The Epistle Prayers
Our walk with God is a lifetime of fellowship, learning about Him and His Kingdom. New light is continually being revealed in God’s Word as we study and as we fellowship with Him in prayer.
Are you in a higher place with the Lord than you were a year ago?
Has your study times gone deeper into the knowledge of Him?
Revelation Changes our Perspective
We’ve been made to sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
What does that mean?
One thing it means is Father has answered His Son’s prayer.
“And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.
“Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world." Read John17:22-24.
The view is different when we see things from God’s perspective.
I have been to the Empire State Building in New York. The view at the top is FAR greater than the experience of being on the street. A breakthrough in revelation enables us to see what God sees. The Spirit of Truth is growing us up from babies to maturity, where we are no longer tossed to and fro with every wind of doctrine by deceitful men. Ephesians 4:14
Seducing spirits are out there! 1 Timothy 4:1
Be very wise what you read, watch, and listen to.
Growing Up
Just as children progress from elementary school to middle school and then to high school, God’s Spirit is able to reveal and teach us more as we are able to receive more.
God wants us to see things supernaturally so that we can advance into adulthood and do the greater works. We have His Kingdom within us.
We learn from Jesus how He wants us to live life here on earth— walking in the Spirit— living by faith in God—loving one another.
“… I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things. And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him.”
“Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
John 14:28-32
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
"If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.” John 14:12-14
