"For whatever things were written before
were written for our learning,
that we through the patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope."
Romans 15:4

Dear Saints Who Pray,

SEPARATION: WHEN ADAM LEFT THE GARDEN
“So He drove out the man; and He placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.” Genesis 3:24

THE LOSS OF GLORY
I don’t think it is possible to know the depth of sorrow and regret that Adam and Eve experienced after the curse was released in their lives and upon the earth. Imagine going from living in extreme glory and in a moment being enveloped and plunged into darkness of spirit and soul. Yet, even in sin God had the plan of redemption: “the Seed of a woman,” (Genesis 3:15), Jesus Christ, would bring man into even greater glory: the fullness of fellowship as God would become one with His creation for eternity.

ICHABOD
When the Philistines stole the Ark of God, the daughter-in-law of Eli the prophet named her child Ichabod, which means “The glory has departed from Israel.” 1 Samuel 4:21

THE CHURCH 2014
It’s amazing to see in our generation some denominations turning away from what the bible declares right and wrong. Nevertheless, the truths written in scripture will stand firm throughout eternity and not even the smallest letter shall be removed from the written Word of God. Matthew 5:18

We should not be shaken over these things. The scriptures have already warned us.

“But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them,  and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.” Read 2 Timothy Chapter 3.

THE FOUR-FOLD ASSIGNMENT OF THE WORD
“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for
  • doctrine,
  • for reproof,
  • for correction,
  • for instruction in righteousness,
  • that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”          2 Timothy 3:13-17

Doctrine:   principles, precepts, teaching as with authority, policy taught or advocated
Reproof:   admonition, censure, rebuke, the act of reproving
Correction:   restoration to an upright position, referring to improvement of life or character, discipline, rectification, punishment intended to reform
Instruction:   training, teaching, education, guidance, to inform, enlighten

The born again child of God will always be receiving one or all of these administrations of God’s Word. Why? Transformation!

“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 3:18

We behold God’s glory as we study the scriptures and allow them to change us. This is the work of the indwelling Holy Spirit. Yielding to Him always produces fruit and brings the blessing.

“It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” John 6:63

LETTING THE WORD GO: LETTING THE GLORY DEPART

If a Believer lets his study time in the Word slip away because of distractions, cares and seeking after other things, what will be the result? The desire for study will decrease and stubbornness toward correction will increase.

Thoughts of “I’ve heard all that already” and “I know all that” are signs of “dullness of hearing,” which means revelation knowledge is coming forth but you’re not getting it! Hebrews 5:11

“Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away. For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward, how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him …” Hebrews 2:1-3

CONSEQUENCES OF HARDENED GROUND
In Matthew Chapter13 and Mark Chapter 4, Jesus is telling His disciples that the mysteries of the Kingdom of God would be revealed to them. He then went on to describe the hearts of four different kinds of people who heard God’s Word being preached.

Wayside:  the Word did not enter their heart because they did not understand what it meant, and so, Satan snatched it from them.
Stony:  they received God’s Word with joy but had no root in themselves. When tribulation or persecution arose for the Word’s sake, they wavered and stumbled.
Thorny:  they received the word but it was choked in their heart by the domination of cares, worries, desires for other things, deceitfulness of riches.

What do these people have in common?

Either The Word is not getting into their heart or it is not being retained in their heart where it can grow up and bear fruit in their lives and for God’s Kingdom.

Rewards of Good Ground:  He who hears The Word, understands and keeps it, and is willing to do whatever it says on a daily basis will bear fruit.

Did you know that those who were once good ground can turn back and travel the other way? Thorny, stony, wayside …

“But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.” Hebrews 10:39

LIFE ON THE ROCK: IT’S A DAILY THING
“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.” Matthew 7:24-27

“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 3:15

The thief and enemy of God is out to remove first your study time and then all the scriptures from your life so that your heart will become hardened.

We can see what effect this has had on certain denominations…entire groups of God’s people blindly following wrong doctrine because they don’t study for themselves and know the truth. No root in themselves!

Check your heart and your desires often. What if Jesus returns today?

COMMITMENT AND BEING PLANTED

“Those who are planted in the house of the Lord
Shall flourish in the courts of our God.
They shall still bear fruit in old age;
They shall be fresh and flourishing,
To declare that the Lord is upright;
He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.” Psalm 92:12-15

The more we know should be the more we grow, not the more we go…from church to church not being able to sustain relationships and being committed to the Pastor. The Holy Spirit will work through your Pastor to bring you the Four-Fold Ministry of The Word: doctrine, reproof, correction and instruction.

Jesus was always submitted to His Father. See Matthew 11:29. Yielding to God and being planted in a Word-teaching church has a lot to do with your destiny and you feeling secure and settled, planted and rooted in the house of the Lord.

How does The Glorious Church become complete, fully equipped for every good work?

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17

CONTAINERS OF THE GLORY
“To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Colossians 1:27

“Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is.” Mark 13:33

Saints Who Pray,

RECAP OF THE LAST FOUR BIBLE LESSONS
Let’s zoom out for an overview of these lessons to see what the Spirit is saying to His Church.

10-21-14    How can we overcome in perilous times? Pray and walk by faith.
What is faith; how it works; examples from overcomers; faith’s need for hope; enemies to faith, and God’s provision of His armor, the mighty shield of faith that can quench all the strategies of darkness.

10-28-14    We the people of God, The Church, a holy nation, called out and given a ministry. God’s time clock; warnings of worldliness infecting The Church; staying ready for His return; signs in the heavens and the coming tribulation; hatred and bitterness toward government leaders produce unanswered prayer. We provided links to on-line ministries that are teaching about the Blood Moons and End Days prophetic events taking place around us.

11-4-14   The message of the cross is the power of God.
The gift; defining redemption; not being ashamed of sharing the gospel; what is the curse; Christ’s deliverance and freedom from yokes; warning of listening to wrong teachers which brings bondage; the importance of knowing the scriptures and the voice of the Holy Spirit; set times on God’s calendar and the present Day of Redemption.

11-11-14   The one commandment given to The Church: Believe in the name of Jesus Christ and love one another. Examples of faith in the name; how offense brings unbelief; the Great Commission; our authority and power through the Holy Spirit; the anointing and doing the greater works; thieves of faith; walking in love to manifest His works.

THIS WEEK’S BIBLE LESSON:

THY KINGDOM COME THY WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN   Matthew 6:10
For two thousand years our Father in Heaven has been hearing the prayers of His Saints asking for His Kingdom to come to earth. Imagine that! And scripture says those prayers are saved as “golden bowls of incense which are the prayers of the saints.”  Revelation 5:8

What does earth look like when God’s will is being done, just like it is in Heaven?

Well, we can see it in manifestation throughout the gospels as Jesus went about preaching, teaching and healing …  that's God’s good news!

“The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed;
To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.” Luke 4:18-19

Jesus was, and still is, anointed and appointed to set men free from the curse.
It’s why He became sin for us on the cross. Galatians 3:13-14

Jesus has anointed and appointed The Church to work through His Spirit to be His present day ministry in the earth.

God has given man the right to choose:
  • His good ways and be born again,
  • or darkness, bondage and eternal damnation.
We are His prayer ambassadors who stand in the gap for the lost imploring them to be reconciled to God. See 2 Corinthians 5:14-21.

THIS GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM
Jesus said, “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” Matthew 24:14

“And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’
  • Heal the sick,
  • cleanse the lepers,
  • raise the dead,
  • cast out demons.
Freely you have received, freely give.” Matthew 10:7-8

It’s Temporary
Cancer centers are being built all over; hospitals are expanding; and multitudes are on prescription drugs. You and I know it. But that which is seen is temporary and about to change!

2014: The Kingdom of Heaven is at Hand

Imagine this:
This gospel of the Kingdom is being preached in every church with signs following:
  • Healing the sick
  • Casting out demons
  • Raising the dead

What other effects might we see take up residence in our cities?

Imagine this:
Empty cancer centers—empty hospitals—drug companies bankrupt. The American Cancer Society closes its doors. Why?

THE CHURCH, UNDER THE DIRECTION OF ITS LEADER, JESUS CHRIST, TAKES HER PLACE PREPARED BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD
Preaching the gospel, healing the sick, just like Jesus did - from one town to the next; from one city to the next; county to county, state to state, nation to nation!

Imagine this:
Every anointed church packed with people, some standing up in the back … parking lots packed full of cars; traffic jams/police directing traffic to the churches; freeways and off ramps congested as the multitudes come in.

Imagine this:
Every church owns its own land and building, has services every night, prayer meetings every morning. Many members have bible studies in their homes and zoning and city ordinances don’t prevent them. Multitudes are changed—born again, full of God’s Spirit—united in purpose: preaching, teaching, healing and casting out devils.

Imagine this:
A Spirit-filled President, Congress, Senate, Judges, Governors. The Judges begin court with prayer and all have a plaque of the Ten Commandments on the wall behind them and administer godly justice based on God’s Word.

Imagine this:
The fire of God hits those living in sexual immorality and they turn from their sin. They become evangelists, bold and full of joy, as they realize who they really are in Christ and why they were born.

Imagine this:
Local schools, colleges, universities have the manifested Presence of the Lord, so much that you can feel it when you walk onto their campuses. The youth are gathering and packing the great football stadiums in every state with youth rallies. They go out from there with a fire in their bones to rebuild the ruined cities.

Imagine this:
The media reporters are running to and fro trying to cover all the reported miracles. Hollywood is producing good television programs and movies with happy endings. Many celebrities are sharing how Jesus changed their lives.

Imagine this:
The CEO’s of Google, Apple and Microsoft start all their business meetings with prayer and encourage their employees to attend bible studies during their lunch hour.

Imagine this:
No one celebrates Halloween anymore.
At Christmas time everyone decorates their yards with mangers.

Imagine this:

Casinos shut down. Bars close. The weather returns to normal temperatures and patterns. Christians United for Israel has one billion members.

Imagine this:
The Glory of God is revealed, covering the earth with the peace of God that rests upon the cities of every nation on earth.

Imagine this, Beloved
The Harvest/The Plan does a quick work and produces fruit worldwide.
Our work is all done.

“His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather the wheat into His barn …”  Luke 3:17

And you wondered at times if your pray work was producing real change.
And sometimes you felt pretty alone in prayer.
And you thought that all those pray meetings weren’t doing all that much for your city.

“As I spoke to Joshua, every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you … no man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life for as I was with My people, Israel, so I am with you in these last days to raise up the church anointed in glory with power that each one should be strong and very courageous and prosper and do exploits in My name.”

Dear ones, if God be with us and for us … “Nothing shall be impossible to him who believes.” History has recorded many demonstrations of God’s power that have already taken place in different revivals of the past. Remember the Azusa Street Revival?

One awakening began on Wall Street with noon-time prayer meetings during 1857-1858. The book “Narratives of Remarkable Conversions and Revival Incidents” by William C. Conant has some outstanding reports about that revival. I recommend the edition with and introduction by Henry Ward Beecher. This book will stir up your faith! You can order it from Amazon.

Suggested Assignment
Make a list of things you are believing God to change in your life ...  perhaps salvation to family members. Use your godly imagination to record descriptions of what you would like the result to look like.

"Love does no harm to a neighbor;
therefore love
is
the fulfillment of the law."
Romans 13:10
________________
_______________________________________________

Dear Saints of God,

What is the commandment given to The Church … by the Holy Spirit?

“This is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us.”  1 John 3:23

Believe in the name. Love one another. One … united commandment.

The Example:
“Then Peter said, ‘Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.’ And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God.” Acts 3:6-8

What was Peter’s response to the people exalting him? Correction!

“… why look so intently at us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk?” Acts 3:12

“And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.” Acts 3:16

The Misinformed

Many years ago, I sat under a ministry that taught us that the miracles of the early church had passed away with the apostles. We can see from the above passage this doctrine I heard did not line up with what the Bible says. Neither did it agree with the rest of the Book of Acts.

Stephen, a man full of faith, was chosen by the apostles to wait on tables, yet he did “great wonders and signs among the people.” Acts 6:8

Even when Jesus walked with the apostles, He appointed 70 others to go into every city He was about to go. What did they say when they returned? “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.” See Luke 10:11 & 17.

If the people of God believe that miracles passed away with the apostles, they will receive no miracles. Remember, Jesus could do no mighty works in His home town because most were offended at Him which produced unbelief.  See Mark 6:5-6.
No love, no faith!

BELIEVE IN THE NAME AND LOVE ONE ANOTHER

The Great Commission

“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

“And these signs will follow those who believe:
  • In My name they will cast out demons;
  • they will speak with new tongues;
  • they will take up serpents;
  • and if they drink anything deadly,
  • it will by no means hurt them;
  • they will lay hands on the sick,
  • and they will recover.

“So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.  And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.”
Mark 16:15-20

OUR GOD-GIVEN RIGHT TO AUTHORITY

It goes back to the creation of man who was made in God’s image and likeness. It goes back to God speaking to man His blessing and commission to be fruitful and have dominion over the earth. Genesis 1:26-28

THE PROMISE OF POWER
“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
Acts 1:8

THE FULFILLMENT: THE HOLY SPIRIT
“And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” Acts 2:4

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.” John 14:12

“Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.” John 16:7

THE HOLY SPIRIT AND HIS ASSIGNMENT TO THE CHURCH
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.” John 14:26

“But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.” 1 John 2:20

“But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.”
1 John 2:27

The reason we hear and understand the teachings of our Ministers is because we have The Teacher inside of us who reveals or enlightens us to the truth being spoken. It is the anointing that removes burdens and destroys yokes from us. See Isaiah 10:27.

It is that same anointing that caused Jesus to heal the sick and cast out demons! Praise God!

JESUS DEPENDED ON THE HOLY SPIRIT
“… how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” Acts 10:38

How can the church do the greater works?

1.   Believe on the name. Have faith in His name. Use the name!
Our authority is in His name. In His name is all that Jesus is.

All authority in heaven and earth has been given to Jesus. He is seated at the right hand of God, far above all principality, power, might, and dominion and every name that is named. Every time we speak His name in faith like Peter did, we execute judgment on the curse and release the blessing. (This subject was covered in last week’s Bible Lesson.)

When we say “In Jesus Name” at the end of a prayer, we proclaim all that He did; His death, burial, resurrection and ascension. We proclaim the resurrected Lord who is seated at God’s right hand. He is “ruler over the kings of the earth,” and He has made us “kings and priests to His Father.” Revelation 1:5-6

When the Apostle John saw the resurrected Jesus, he fell at His feet like one dead.
To renew your mind to our Mighty Savior’s present day ministry, read Revelation 1:12-18 often and attach that to the use of His powerful name.

2.   Love one another.
Faith in the name won’t work without love. It cannot work without love. It cannot move without love. It cannot bring about the desired results without love. Mountains won’t move and the anointing is smothered. And faith is a major part of your armor.

The Bottleneck:
Offense, unforgiveness, bitterness, anger, cares, worry, wrong words, reviling, wrong thoughts will hinder and make faith invalid. Ask the Lord to alert you whenever these things try to creep in. Be aware of Satan’s strategies. Just say no!

REQUIREMENTS OF FAITH
  • “Love endures long and is patient and kind;
  • love never is envious
  • nor boils over with jealousy,
  • is not boastful or vainglorious,
  • does not display itself haughtily.

  • Love is not conceited
  • (arrogant and inflated with pride);
  • it is not rude (unmannerly)
  • and does not act unbecomingly.
  • Love (God’s love in us)
  • does not insist on its own rights
  • or its own way,
  • for it is not self-seeking;
  • it is not touchy or fretful or resentful;
  • it takes no account of the evil done to it
  • (it pays no attention to a suffered wrong).
  • It does not rejoice at injustice
  • and unrighteousness,
  • but rejoices when right and truth prevail.

  • Love bears up under anything
  • and everything that comes,
  • is ever ready to believe the best of every person,
  • its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances,
  • and it endures everything [without weakening].

  • Love never fails
  • [never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end].”
See 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 AMP.

GOD IS LOVE
Jesus never failed! He did the greater works because He never did anything or said anything that He did not already see His Father say or do. See John 5:19.
He said, “I can of Myself do nothing.” John 5:30

It’s an inside job.
It’s how we walk by faith and not by sight.

God declares the end at the beginning, or before He speaks. Isaiah 46:9-10
God has already declared that the works Jesus did we shall do also, and greater works than He did shall we do. How can this be?

Because Jesus went to the Father and sent each one of us His Holy Spirit!
Yield to Him completely and use The Name in faith, walking in love.

"And I,
if I be lifted up from the earth,
will draw all peoples
to Myself."
John 12:32
_______________________________________________________________

Holy People of God,
What do you think the picture of the cross proclaims to unsaved mankind?

Do you remember what you thought of the cross before you were saved?

It’s good for us to think about where we were so that we may have love and compassion on those who do not understand the gospel message, because it will help us in how we intercede for The Lost.

“For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.” 1 Corinthians 1:18

THE GIFT
Salvation has already been paid for every person on earth. Think of it!

Our job is to pray for them to hear and understand the gospel and to receive Jesus. It’s God’s job to bring all that to pass. That’s why after prayer we cast all the care onto Him.

Only God can change a heart.

As we, The Glorious Church, take our place to fulfill our assignment in these last days before we are caught up to meet our Lord in the air, we can expect to experience and see the mighty hand of God as we have not personally known Him before. He has been preparing us for a glorious end-time event, the revealing of His Son, Jesus Christ, in every nation!

Just as our Creator has made times and seasons on earth, there are set-times on God’s calendar for events to take place that He planned even before the creation of the world.

THE DAY OF REDEMPTION: This Changes Everything!
The children of Israel were in captivity in Egypt for 400 years, that is, until the day of their redemption had come and the time for judgment had come to the Amorites.
See Genesis Chapter 15.

REDEMPTION: What does it mean?

Historically, redemption was used in reference to the purchase of a slave's freedom. A slave was "redeemed" when the price was paid for his freedom.

The Hebrew word for redemption means to ransom in full, salvation, deliverance, riddance. Riddance means the act or fact of clearing away or out, as of anything undesirable; relief or deliverance from something.

When God delivered the children of Israel from slavery in Egypt, He spoke and it was so.

"Therefore say to the children of Israel: 'I am the LORD; I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, I will rescue you from their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments. I will take you as My people, and I will be your God. Then you shall know that I am the LORD your God who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.” Exodus 6:6-7

Do you suppose they were ready for their mighty God?

THE REALM OF THE SPIRIT
Redemption in the New Testament includes this same idea as the deliverance of God’s children in Israel, but this redemption of man is far superior in power, reaching far greater into eternity and reaching far deeper into man’s creation, identity and calling. It goes all the way back to the Garden of Eden, to the birth of sin and its awful fruit: the curse.

Truly, what Jesus provided in our covenant is far better than the first covenant. Hebrews 8:6

Just as God led the Israelites from captivity into a new land, God has transferred every born again child into His Kingdom. Our citizenship and our authority are there. That Kingdom is not only above but also resides within each of us.

When we assemble in love and unity that kingdom is felt in the atmosphere.

“He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.” Colossians 1:13-14

When we look at the picture of the cross, we cannot see with the naked eye what was actually taking place in the eternal spiritual realm. See Hebrews Chapters 8-10 for further study.

JESUS ON THE CROSS

What does the picture of the cross proclaim to the born again child of God?
What does it say to you, Beloved?

My first thought is no one has ever or will ever love me more than Jesus. He took my place of sin and its eternal punishment and gave me a place in Him with Father; eternal life, eternal fellowship, eternal redemption. The cross not only reveals His unending love to me but it also proclaims my healing, protection, and deliverance from the curse. There is more in my redemption than I can fully comprehend, for spiritual things must be spiritually discerned.

Our lives are made up of individual days of fellowship, learning from our Teacher.

Is this End Days Church timid to share the cross with the lost?

The Apostle Paul gives us this reminder:
“For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.” 1 Corinthians 2:2

  • “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ,
  • for it is the power of God to salvation
  • for everyone who believes,
  • for the Jew first
  • and also for the Greek.
  • For in it the righteousness of God is revealed
  • from faith to faith;
  • as it is written, ‘The just shall live by faith.’
  • “For the wrath of God is revealed
  • from heaven
  • against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men,
  • who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,
  • because what may be known of God
  • is manifest in them,
  • for God has shown it to them.” Romans 1:16-19

“And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:5

“For the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:2

“Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree’), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” Galatians 3:13-14

What is the curse of the law?
Deuteronomy 28:1-14 describe the blessings of obedience.

Deuteronomy 28:15-68 describe the horrible consequences of disobedience.

Jesus studied these scriptures and knew very well what they said. Do you?
He knew He would take all the curse upon Himself as He became the Lamb of God, slain for the sins of mankind.

CHRIST HAS REDEEMED US
Jesus took the curse upon Himself. He has redeemed us from the curse so that we might have and experience the blessing of Abraham. Your redemption cries out for you to experience the full manifestation of the blessings and your freedom from the curse! (On our Resource Page we have several excellent teachers who teach on how to experience the blessings.)

“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” Galatians 5:1 NIV

One of the things Paul warned the church living in Galatia was to beware of listening to those who would pervert the gospel. Our redemption is the good news of the freedom that Jesus purchased for us on the cross. See Galatians 1:6-9.

If you are not experiencing the freedom and joy of living the abundant life in the Lord, check up on what you have been hearing. God’s message, the gospel, is good news that causes freedom, not slavery, bondage or captivity. Those that we choose and allow to teach us the good Word of God should be leading us to experience the life that Jesus died on the cross to give us.

Perilous times require each of us to be on guard against those who would corrupt the gospel with their own interpretations.

How will I know if they are misrepresenting the Bible?

Sit and study the scriptures daily with your Teacher. The Holy Spirit will alert you on the inside when you hear wrong teaching. His word is truth, and the truth that you know will make you free. See John 8:31-32 & 1 Timothy 2:15.

PROPHETIC TIMES: 2014
This is a set-time in history that God has chosen us to live in. It is the same as the set-time that triggered the release of the Israelites to come out of slavery in Egypt. What happened then is happening now, a season which is the fulfillment of what God has spoken and promised in His Word.

Expect to be strengthened!

Let us give all that we have to agree with God’s plan and purpose for the Day of Redemption has come.
