"No one has seen God at any time.
If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us."
1 John 4:12
_________________________________________________________

Holy Brethren,
The longer I endeavor to seek the LORD and learn from Him, the more evident it is to me that everything I am has its foundation in my heart, the newly created spirit man, born from above.

Jesus put it this way, “out of his heart will flow rivers of living water, but this He spoke concerning the Holy Spirit.” Our glorious Helper and Teacher is the One who anoints us to do far more than we can on our own. In fact, we can do nothing of value without Him.

With that in mind, let’s continue our study of Communion. Part 1 & 2 should be read first. Just scroll down for previous lessons.

Let’s begin with what the LORD revealed as we ended our last lesson.

The Meal before the Cross
John’s gospel account of the Passover Meal gives us a visual example of the agape love of Jesus as He washed each of His disciple’s feet in the upper room.

“You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you. Most assuredly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him.

"If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.” See John 13:13-17.

The Heart of a Betrayer
“One of you will betray Me.” Here, in John Chapter 13, the Holy Spirit reveals the depth of Jesus’ grief. “He was troubled in spirit.” Later, during the Passover Meal, Jesus shared a piece of bread with His betrayer. Satan entered into His disciple. “What you do, do it quickly.”
  • The Passover Meal was a worthless formality to Judas.
  • During the meal, his thoughts were focused on something else, how to sneak out of the upper room.
  • He had an appointment to keep.
Judas loved money. His heart was empty of the love for God and for others. Judas heard the Words of the Kingdom as he lived with Jesus for three years, yet The Word did not prosper him, not being mixed with faith. See Hebrews 4:2.

Judas’ last plot to pocket 30 pieces of silver would be his final reward for a devious life. See Matthew 26:15 & 1 Timothy 6:10.

The Heart of a Believer
A thankful heart of love and surrender to the One who took our place of punishment must be the focus of the believer’s attention while taking Communion.

If it isn't, the Holy Spirit, through God’s Word, must bring correction so that we line up with the true reason for Communion: Jesus Christ so loved us that He gave His life for us. Nothing can even come close to this kind of love. Nothing!

Jesus is what our hearts embrace during Holy Communion.

Laws of the Church
“Which is the first commandment of all?

"Jesus answered him, ‘The first of all the commandments is: Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’”

“There is no other commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:28-31

These two commandments are Kingdom principles that operate in Heaven, the homeland of which we are citizens. These laws were written in our hearts by God when we received Jesus as Lord and Savior.

“This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: “I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,’ then He adds, ‘Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.’” Hebrews 10:16-17

“Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” Romans 5:5

The Book of 1 Corinthians is an amazing letter that is full of revelation knowledge.

Along with that however, correction was needed because of Believers who hadn't grown up and were still acting like babies. “For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?” 1 Corinthians 3:3

These same actions carried over into how they were taking Communion. Behaviors such as pushing ahead of each other to eat, getting drunk, division and factions are all conduct that begins within an immature self-centered heart.

For some, loving God and others was not evident in their lives and even serious enough to bring the consequence of an early death. 1 Corinthians 11:30.

Putting on the New Man
“Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved,
  • put on tender mercies
  • kindness
  • humility
  • meekness
  • longsuffering
  • bearing with one another
  • and forgiving one another if anyone has a complaint against another
  • even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do

But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.”
Colossians 3:12-14

Discerning the Brethren: The Glorious Church!
“Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.” 1 Corinthians 12:27

“There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord.
And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all …” 1 Corinthians 12:4-7

“… there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another.” 1 Corinthians 12:25

“For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.

"For in fact the body is not one member but many.” 1 Corinthians 12:12-14

Matters of the Heart Matter
Our Generation

Cliques, discord, conflicts, quarreling, contentions, strife, incompatibility, unforgiveness should not even be named among this End Days Church. If these things are blatantly practiced in church, how will the world know us, or distinguish us as being different?

They won’t. Our behavior is like mere “unsaved” men.

How offensive to the Lord to have the people that He died for behave hypocritically as they assemble to join together to celebrate Holy Communion with hearts infected with unforgiveness, strife, and hatred.

“We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren.
He who does not love his brother abides in death.
Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

“By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.”
1 John 3:14-16

Communion: Discerning the Lord’s Body
“Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup.

“For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.

“For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep.

"For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged.

But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.

“Therefore, my brethren, when you come together to eat, wait for one another. But if anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, lest you come together for judgment.”
Read 1 Corinthians 11:27-34

“For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.” 1 Corinthians 11:26

Back to the Heart
We are responsible to examine our heart before proclaiming the Lord’s death—His sacrifice for our sins. If we judge ourselves, we will not be judged.

This opens our heart so we can receive the fullness of God’s love which empowers our faith to receive healing, deliverance, restoration, and wholeness. The Glorious Church needs to be healthy, Saints!

“For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:2

Loving God—Loving Others: Unity
Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 1 John 4:11

Every time we take Communion, whether privately or with the Assembly of Saints, we make a personal declaration over us and into the heavenlies of the reason that Jesus Christ died for us.

It is a proclamation that confirms our covenant rights that we inherited from Jesus’ death. Shouldn't it be a whole lot more than a ho-hum experience?

The days are evil around us, Saints, protect your heart. Effective prayers come forth from there.
SUGGESTED ASSIGNMENT THIS WEEK:   Read 1 John.

"A new commandment I give to you,
that you love one another; as I have loved you,
that you also love one another."
John 13:34
_____________________________________________________________________________

Dear Saints,
This is Part 2 of a study on Holy Communion.
If you haven’t read Part 1, please scroll down before continuing.

Recap of Part 1:
  • Communion reminds us of our roots, the gospel, which is the power of God.
  • The Holy Spirit must be involved in revealing the spiritual side of Communion.
  • Communion is a supernatural transaction only for those who are in covenant with the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Communion is a personal embrace of celebrating the cross, and receiving covenant benefits listed in Isaiah 53:4-5.
  • Communion affects the whole man: spirit, soul and body.
  • The inward man of the heart must be involved in Communion or it is merely a tradition of man and void of Christ’s benefits.
  • Communion can be celebrated in your private time with the Lord.
  • Power Key for the Walk of Faith: Read the Who I Am Scriptures and then take Communion in faith.
  • As we assemble as one body to celebrate Communion with the family of God, we remember we are forgiven of our sins and healed by Jesus’ sacrifice. This unites each member of His body in a grand manifestation of perfected holiness. John Chapter 17.

The Passover: Rules and Observances
Prior to God delivering His people out of slavery from Egypt, the LORD sent the final plague on Pharaoh and the wickedness of the Egyptians. The following list is a partial summary of the LORD’s instructions to Moses and His children as they made preparation to leave Egypt and have their last meal under the captivity of a sinful nation.

Exodus Chapter 12
  • Every household shall take for themselves a lamb.
  • The lamb shall be without blemish and perfect.
  • It shall be killed at twilight.
  • Take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and lintel of the houses where they eat it.
  • They shall eat the flesh …roasted in fire.
  • You shall eat it in haste. (ready to go)
  • It is the LORD’s Passover.
  • I will pass through the land …strike the firstborn, both man and beast, and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.
  • Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. (Saints, are you not the house, the temple of the Holy Spirit?)
  • When I see the blood, I will pass over you; the plague shall not be on you to destroy you.
  • So this day shall be to you a memorial; and you shall keep it as a feast to the LORD throughout your generations.

Psalm 105:36-45
“He also destroyed all the firstborn in their land,
The first of all their strength.
He also brought them out with silver and gold,
And there was none feeble among His tribes.
Egypt was glad when they departed,
For the fear of them had fallen upon them.

He spread a cloud for a covering,

And fire to give light in the night.
The people asked, and He brought quail,
And satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
He opened the rock, and water gushed out;
It ran in the dry places like a river.

For He remembered His holy promise,
And Abraham His servant.

He brought out His people with joy,
His chosen ones with gladness.
He gave them the lands of the Gentiles,
And they inherited the labor of the nations,
That they might observe His statutes
And keep His laws.
Praise the Lord!”

Christ Our Passover
The Apostle Paul brought stern correction to the Corinthian Church for several things. One of those corrections was about their shameful behavior in how they were taking Communion. Divisions and factions among the brethren in this church were in total disagreement of Jesus command to “love one another as I have loved you.” Some were coming in hungry, taking their supper ahead of others and some were actually drunk. Sounds like a tavern! What a bold display of the selfish carnal nature.
Read 1 Corinthians 11:17-22

“Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us. Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.”  1 Corinthians 5:7-8

The Lord Celebrates Passover
“Now on the first day of Unleavened Bread, when they killed the Passover lamb, His disciples said to Him, ‘Where do You want us to go and prepare, that You may eat the Passover?’ And He sent out two of His disciples and said to them, ‘Go into the city, and a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water; follow him.

“Wherever he goes in, say to the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says, “Where is the guest room in which I may eat the Passover with My disciples?” Then he will show you a large upper room, furnished and prepared; there make ready for us.’

“So His disciples went out, and came into the city, and found it just as He had said to them; and they prepared the Passover.” Mark 14:12-16

After the Resurrection: Communion
“For I pass on to you what I received from the Lord himself. On the night when he was betrayed, the Lord Jesus took some bread and gave thanks to God for it. Then he broke it in pieces and said, ‘This is my body, which is given for you. Do this to remember me.’ In the same way, he took the cup of wine after supper, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant between God and his people--an agreement confirmed with my blood. Do this to remember me as often as you drink it.  For every time you eat this bread and drink this cup, you are announcing the Lord’s death until he comes again.’” 1 Corinthians 11:23-26 NLT

Some translations of the Bible quote that Jesus said, “Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you …”

This is not correct, for not one bone of Jesus’ body was broken. We know that all scriptures must agree, so let’s take a comparison look at what the three gospel accounts say and also the original Passover regulations which God instituted.

Breaking the Bread
Matthew 26:26-27
“And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, ‘Take, eat; this is My body.’ Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, ‘Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.’”

Mark 14:22-23
“And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them and said, ‘Take, eat; this is My body.’ “Then He took the cup, and when He had given thanks He gave it to them, and they all drank from it. And He said to them, ‘This is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many.’”

Luke 22:19-20
“And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, ‘This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.’ Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.’”

Exodus 12:46
“In one house it shall be eaten; you shall not carry any of the flesh outside the house, nor shall you break one of its bones.”

John 19:31-33
“Therefore, because it was the Preparation Day, that the bodies should not remain on the cross on the Sabbath (for that Sabbath was a high day), the Jews asked Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away. Then the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first and of the other who was crucified with Him. But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs.”

I find it interesting that in the Gospel of John the Holy Spirit did not give us an account of Jesus blessing the bread and the wine as see in Matthew, Mark and Luke. John’s gospel does, however, give us a visual example of agape love as Jesus washed each of His disciple’s feet in the upper room, including the feet of His betrayer, Judas.

The Betrayal
“One of you will betray Me.”
Here, in John Chapter 13, the Holy Spirit reveals the depth of Jesus’ grief.

“He was troubled in spirit.”

Later, during the Passover Meal, Jesus shared a piece of bread with His betrayer. Satan entered into His disciple. “What you do, do it quickly.”

These are heart wrenching words from the One who was about to go to the cross and give His life so that the world might be saved, Jesus “the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” Revelation 13:8

Without the spiritual side of Communion there are no benefits, just like the Passover Meal was worthless to Judas. Why was it worthless to Judas?

Something else had predominance in his heart: 30 pieces of silver.
Matthew 26:15

Closing Comments
True Communion of the heart brings God’s child into total surrender and grateful remembrance of what Jesus’ sacrifice accomplished.

Without the shedding of Blood there is no remission of sin. Hebrews 9:22

The life is in the Blood… eternal life, yes, and also healing, deliverance, liberty and fellowship with God right now!

Throughout eternity, The Glorious Church will harmonize in a symphony of unity to praise and worship the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

“Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice:

“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing!” Revelation 5:11-12

"For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us,
that we might become the righteousness of God in Him."
2 Corinthians 5:21
__________________________________________________________________________

Holy Brethren,
You and I were born for this season.

We are in a glorious time for The Church. As the end of the age approaches our excitement and our purpose for living will become more evident accompanied with an increase of power.

With that in mind, our lesson for this week is:

The Mystery of Communion
Jesus said, “… it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance…” Mt. 13:11-12

Jesus
“And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, ‘Take, eat; this is My body.’

“Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, ‘Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father's kingdom.’" Matthew 26:26-29

The Holy Spirit
Eating bread and drinking wine is a physical act that is done in the natural. If the Holy Spirit does not reveal to us the supernatural side of Communion it is of no value and a mere tradition of man. That makes Communion void of Christ’s benefits.

When Kingdom mysteries are revealed, and acted on, they will always produce the fruit of life.

Communion is a spiritual action that pulls the natural man into the inward man to celebrate the victory that Jesus Christ has already accomplished for us.

“Christ has redeemed us from the curse … that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles…” See Galatians 3:13-14

Only the Holy Spirit can pull back the curtain to reveal the hidden mysteries of Jesus’ birth, ministry, death, resurrection, ascension into Heaven, and His present day ministry as High Priest.

If only the outward man participates in Communion, it will not have supernatural benefits and accomplish what it was designed to do. Why? Because the inward man was left out.

The inward man of the heart, (1 Peter 3:4) is the Holy Reservoir of God. Communion must begin there and work outward as a holy unification of the whole man, affecting spirit, soul, and body.

“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
1 Thessalonians 5:23

The New Creation—Christ in You
“For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.” 2 Corinthians 4:6-7

“… the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” Romans 5:5

“… by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” 2 Peter 1:4

Communion embraces the fullness of the cross, as God’s child partakes spiritually of New Covenant benefits. The Holy Spirit within the Believer unfolds the divine nature of the transaction that is taking place in Communion.

It can be new and wonderful every time.

Daily Communion--Daily Benefits
There are benefits to partaking of Holy Communion in your personal time with the Lord every day. Many Christians may feel uncomfortable at first taking Communion at home because they were raised in churches where this is not taught. Many years ago, I remember being very surprised to hear a charismatic priest say this was perfectly fine to do.

Celebrating the Cross
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation…” Romans 1:16

“… the message of the cross … to us who are being saved is the power of God.” 1 Corinthians 1:18

These verses exhort us to share the gospel with the lost.
They can also be used as we take Communion because we are going back to the very root of our new birth, the gospel of our salvation! The gospel is our very foundation and it is loaded with power from God’s Kingdom. As we take Communion we have blood-bought rights that take us directly to the source of the power of the gospel ... the resurrection of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Read Ephesians 1:19-23.

COMMUNION: A PERSONAL EMBRACE OF THE CROSS
800 years before Jesus was born, the prophet Isaiah prophesied the gospel message:

“Surely He has borne our griefs
And carried our sorrows;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted.
But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;

"The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.
 All we like sheep have gone astray;
 We have turned, every one, to his own way;
And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.” Isaiah 53:4-5

In the New Covenant, the Apostle Peter declares what was accomplished 2000 years ago:

“… who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously; who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed. For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.” 1 Peter 2:23-25

There are benefits to be received from personal daily Communion.
There are benefits to be received as the saints assemble together in Jesus’ name.

Communion with the Family: The Household of Faith
The community of believers in divine fellowship stand as one before God’s throne. This is a grand manifestation of holiness and a picture of the Savior’s answered prayer:

“And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:  I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.” John 17:22-23

“That they may be made perfect in one.”

Definition of Perfect: consummate in character, consecrate, finish, fulfill; to bring to an end by completion or perfecting, accomplishing or bringing to completeness, perfected, made perfect

“Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.

“Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.” 1 Corinthians 5:7-8

The anointing of God resides and flows from the spirit man. When you receive Communion in faith, expect to be strengthened in the inner man (Ephesians 3:16) to rule and dominate over the curse, which is still in operation in this worldly system. Expect to be healed!

Whether you take Communion personally or with the family of God, know that it is a sacred observance. Through faith, we touch the cross of Jesus Christ and His eternal love for us. No one loves us more. He suffered and died, taking your place so that you could take His place of righteousness ( 2 Corinthians 5:21) and have eternal fellowship with His Father.

“And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” John 17:3

Closing Comments
If you have been a reader of Team Tuesday Lessons for a while, you know the necessity of putting God’s Word first place in your life and doing what it says to do. You know that we must walk by faith, loving God with all that we are and loving others as we love ourselves. You know the importance of studying God’s Word to get it into your heart and to guard the words that you speak. You know that Jesus is coming soon and that it is vital to be in submission to a bible believing church and to assemble together, “even more as you see the day approaching.”

This generation of God’s amazing army has been in boot camp, training for a massive world-wide revival. Our goal: to compel the lost to come in before that great and awful day of the Lord’s wrath. Joel 2:11 & Matthew 22:9.

Assignment
Before taking Communion this week, read through the list of Who You Are in Christ Scriptures. Then take Communion in the Spirit of Faith and be blessed!

"For thus says the LORD, who created the heavens, who is God, who formed the earth and made it, who has established it ...
'I am the LORD, and there is no other.'"
Isaiah 46:18
_______________________________________________________________________________________

Dear Saints,
This lesson is Part 2: Words and The End Days Church.

We will also study about the two Kingdoms that are in operation on earth.

The instant you were born from above, you were delivered from the power of darkness and translated into the kingdom of the Son of His love. Colossians 1:13

Most likely, most of us have grown up and been trained in the Kingdom of Darkness and its ways. That is why we go to the Bible to re-program our old ways of living to a higher and better way of life. “Be not conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind” is not a suggestion but an absolute necessity if we are to do the will of God.
See Romans 12:1-2

“Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth, as it is done in Heaven.” Matthew 6:10

WORDS
  • Words are carriers of thoughts, either for good or for evil.
  • Words carry authority in the earth.
  • Satan wants your words.

Watch out for the “pressure” to say the wrong thing. He is laying a snare which gives him license to steal, kill, and destroy. Jesus came to give us the abundant life through Him. Since death and life are in the power of the tongue, choose words of life “that you and your descendants may live.” Read Deuteronomy 30:11-20.

“If you have been foolish in exalting yourself, or if you have devised evil, put your hand on your mouth.” (Proverbs 30:32) Wrong words can keep you out of the Promised Land. Remember the 10 spies of Israel who gave an evil report? (Numbers 13:31) God gave them over to what they spoke: "If only we had died in this wilderness." Numbers 14:2

Numbers 14:28 says, “… just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will do to you.”

Fear not!
The Holy Spirit within us is there to help train us to speak the Words of the Kingdom.
 Ask your Coach for help!

The Invisible Kingdom
In this dispensation, it is an invisible Kingdom that we carry within us. (Luke 17:21) All of our needs and provisions come from this Kingdom and are obtained and manifest by the avenue of faith.

Most Christians are well established in the gospel of salvation. Praise God for the preaching of the cross for it is the power of God! Romans 1:16

As the End Days Church receives truth and matures, and as God permits, we will leave the elementary discussions and principles of Christ and go on to perfection. Read Romans 5:12 - 6:3.

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” Matthew 24:14

The gospel of the Kingdom moves mature believers forward to receive our inheritance as sons of God. Read Romans 8:13-17. From the epistles, the letters to the church, we can see that much of our training from the Holy Spirit is focused on the development of the inward man; the spirit, the soul and the body. What is accomplished within will work its way outward with this goal: to rule and reign through Christ (Romans 5:17) and to embrace the world with the ministry of the gospel of reconciliation: the Good News of the Kingdom!
See 2 Corinthians 5:19-20.

This is where our intercession for The Church comes in.

THE CHURCH—God’s Plumb Line in The Earth
What is a plumb line? It is a tool that consists of a small, heavy object attached to a string or rope that employs the law of gravity to establish what is exactly vertical or true. It is used symbolically to refer to the divine standards of God and His Kingdom. Read Amos 7:7-8.

Truth and righteousness flow in God’s people to help the nations who have rejected Jesus …unknowingly. Jesus said, “They know not what they do.”

This is where our intercession for The Lost comes in.

Dual Citizenship—Dual Occupancy
We are learning by God’s Spirit how to live effectively in the powerful reality of God’s Kingdom while we have an earthly address.

Jesus showed us the way.
“I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.” John 5:30

“By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.” Hebrews 10:10

WORDS OF THE KINGDOM
Words are powerful. Jesus always spoke words of the Kingdom. “… the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak.” John 12:49

When you speak the Who I Am in Christ Scriptures, they have the power to remove the inferior inner image we were born with. Ah, but the second birth, Beloved, is far superior, for we are born of incorruptible seed from Father’s perfect Kingdom! 1 Peter 1:23

In Christ Scriptures connect your spirit man to truth and will produce an abundance of fruit. Ephesians 3:20

But, what if a born again Christian doesn't know this or receive it?
“My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge.” Hosea 4:6

If you know enough of God’s Word and how to act on it, Satan is defeated. That is why he uses different strategies to keep you from reading, studying, and getting the Word of God into in your heart.

The Sword of the Spirit
is alive with powerful ammunition. It is like exploding a nuclear weapon upon your enemy when it is spoken forth from the inner man.

Let’s take a look at the two Kingdom’s that are in operation on earth.

TWO KINGDOMS

"Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols?

"For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said:
'I will dwell in them
And walk among them.
I will be their God,
And they shall be My people.'" 2 Corinthians 6:14-16

Saints, these comparisons make us mindful of the drastic differences in these Kingdoms. The worldly system looks down on the Kingdom of Righteousness and thinks it is inferior. Absolutely not true!

The Kingdom of God is far superior! What is upholding all things?
“The Word of His power!” Hebrews 1:3
