Do you not tremble in My presence?
For I have placed the sand
as a boundary for the sea,
an eternal decree,
so it cannot cross over it.
Jeremiah 5:22
_____________________________________________________________

Dear Praying People of the Most High God,
As a child I would sometimes think my Mom and Dad were strict. “How come all the other kids get to hike down Beaver Creek and I can’t?” My Mom didn’t feel it was safe for me and my girl friend to follow the creek into the woods.  She would also warn me with, “I will know if you go down there!”

BOUNDARIES
I wasn’t always pleased with boundaries but as an adult looking back, I can see that because my parents loved me, they set borders around me to protect and teach me right from wrong, even telling me who I could play with and who I couldn’t be with. And when I misbehaved I never wanted to hear my Mom say, “I’m going to tell your Father about this when he gets home!” Oh no!!!

Learning Right From Wrong
How important is it to train up a child in the way he should go? Parents who raise their children with little discipline and training don’t do their kids any favors. Parental discipline lays a foundation that the LORD can build ministry on.

Learning early that there are consequences for disobedience helps us to make right choices. I not only learned that I didn’t like punishment but I also learned a “holy and reverential fear of God,” which is the beginning of wisdom. See Proverbs 9:10-12.

DISCIPLESHIP
Definition of Disciple: a learner, a follower; one who follows one’s teaching, doctrines and precepts; a pupil; student; devotee; believer; an adherent or one who imitates his teacher

“So Jesus said to those Jews who had believed in Him, ‘If you abide in My word [hold fast to My teachings and live in accordance with them], you are truly My disciples. And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free.’” John 8:31-32 AMP

Jesus gave us instructions not to worry or be fearful about life but to “seek first the Kingdom of God and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:33

All our needs will be met when we seek first His Kingdom and His way of doing things.

How do I do that?
Abide in His Word, hold fast to His teachings and live in accordance with them.

This is how we prosper in a decadent society.
We are in this world, but not of this world’s system or ways. We think differently.
Read John 17:14 and 1 John 4:17.

Renewing the Mind
Read/study the Bible every morning, it’s the breakfast of champions!
Receive instruction…receive boundaries! Be a doer of His Word.

Jesus said, “…the words that I speak to you are Spirit and they are life.” John 6:33
This is how the blessing flows to you.

The Helper—Helps!
See yourself as God’s own dear child and have a heart that is willing to be obedient. The Holy Spirit within you is teaching you and helping you, from the inside. Acknowledge Him. Lean on Him. Jesus said He is our Helper. He is also our Teacher.

You have His anointing within you that teaches you all things. John 14:26

Whether listening to your Pastor at church or studying at your desk, He is the one who helps you to see and to understand. It’s an inside job.  See 1 John 2:20 and 27.

Choosing Obedience
Disciples are required to be obedient.
That means you’re willing to submit and comply with what someone else says.

This is not popular in the days we are living in.
Since I was a child so much has changed. Many children don’t grow up knowing right from wrong and the influence of changes in our laws and perversion being taught in our schools is not good but it is truly a sign of the end days. Jesus Christ is coming soon!

As I said in our last Bible Lesson, the gap between Christianity and the world is widening. (If you missed the last lesson, be sure to read it. Just scroll down.)

The Kingdom of God requires its citizens to obey the rules of its King!

Our Father knows the best way for us to live on earth in the year 2015.
He has written a book with guidelines for us to follow so that we may prosper. We are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works prepared before we were born. Ephesians 3:10

We have a reason to live and a purpose to fulfill, a calling on our lives that must now take preeminence over everything else!

JESUS LEARNED OBEDIENCE
Jesus, the Word made flesh, was sent with a purpose that changed everything for eternity!

Yet, our blessed Savior learned obedience …

“…who, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death, and was heard because of His godly fear,  though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered. And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him...” Hebrews 5:7-9

We could say Jesus was a disciple of His Father during His days on earth.

“But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.” See 1 Corinthians 11:3.

“Then Jesus said to them,
‘When you lift up the Son of Man,
then you will know that I am He,
and that I do nothing of Myself;
but as My Father taught Me,
I speak these things.
And He who sent Me is with Me.
The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him.’”
Read John 8:28-29.

Jesus walked by faith in His God. Hebrews 11:6

2015: SIGNS OF “THE END OF THE AGE”
TIMES OF DISOBEDIENCE—LAWLESSNESS—INIQUITY

Disobedience: insubordinate, unsubmissive; noncompliant; stubborn; haughty; perverse; disorderly; unyielding; mutinous

“Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.
And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” Matthew 24:11-14

The Mystery of Iniquity…
Iniquity: defiant rejection of God’s law

“For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now restraineth will restrain, until he be taken out of the way.” 2 Thessalonians 2:7

“Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.” 1 John 3:4

A propensity toward evil…it’s what mankind inherited from Adam.

Idolatry: The worship of anything that is not Almighty God
The Making of a Gold Calf

“Now when Moses saw that the people were unrestrained (for Aaron had not restrained them, to their shame among their enemies), then Moses stood in the entrance of the camp, and said, ‘Whoever is on the LORD’s side—come to me!’ And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together to him.” Exodus 32:25-26

How did God deal with the spirit of lawlessness? Those not on the Lord’s side, about three thousand men, fell by the sword that day.

2015—WE THE CHURCH—THE RESTRAINT!
Restrain: keep under control; suppress; hold back; inhibit; chasten; restrict; limit; check; arrest; muzzle; impede; constrict; hold back

How can The Church restrain.... if it is sleeping with the enemy?

“Therefore
‘Come out from among them
And be separate, says the Lord.
Do not touch what is unclean,
And I will receive you.
I will be a Father to you,
And you shall be My sons and daughters,
Says the Lord Almighty.’” 2 Corinthians 6:17-18

The Church is not a big beautiful building.
The Church is not the name of a large denomination.

The Church is a family, God’s sons and daughters.
The Church is a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.
See Ephesians 2:19-22.

The Church has been given boundaries.

“For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness?
And what communion has light with darkness?
And what accord has Christ with Belial?
Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?
And what agreement has the temple of God with idols?

"For you are the temple of the living God.
As God has said:
I will dwell in them
And walk among them.
I will be their God,
And they shall be My people.” 2 Corinthians 6:14-16

How should we live?
Boundaries!
Obey! It is better than sacrifice. 1 Samuel 15:22-23
Remain faithful to your call as a disciple of Jesus Christ.
Be aware of things that erode your boundaries.
Be willing to be led by the Holy Spirit who is on assignment to keep you safe.
Walk by faith in God’s Word.
Love the unlovely.

What should we pray?
Hear the instructions to Israel.
“The LORD is well pleased for His righteousness’ sake;
He will exalt the law and make it honorable.
But this is a people robbed and plundered;
All of them are snared in holes,
And they are hidden in prison houses;
They are for prey, and no one delivers;
For plunder, and no one says, ‘Restore!’” Isaiah 42:21-22

Don’t complain about how bad things are.
Instead declare the decree....Sing the decree:
RESTORE! RESTORE!
Give the Kingdom something they can work with!
See Psalm 103:19-20.

Get that word in your heart. Meditate on this lesson; take it with you when you go into your prayer closet. This is the call and mission of Prayer with Purpose.
Love stands in the gap for restoration to The Church and love for the lost that are being blinded by their iniquity. This is how revival begins.

Scripture was written...that it might be spoken.
When you put God's Word in your mouth accompanied by the spirit of faith, it has power to enforce the decree. The Holy Spirit within you is being released to do the work.
This is the sword of the Spirit, part of the armor of God. Ephesians 6:17.

Open your window and declare, "Restore!" over your city or get in your car and drive around saying, "Restore!" See the armies of the Kingdom of God being released.
As an ambassador for Christ, you are helping to reconcile the world to God and to establish: "Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven." Matthew 6:10

This, dear Saints, is the ministry of reconciliation.

Read 2 Corinthians 5:19-20.

One day soon, we’ll hear the trumpet call and we’ll be caught up to meet the Lord in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:17) and our assignments, both individually and corporately, will be complete … Mission Accomplished!

But until then, say to your counties—“Restore in the name of Jesus!”
If your family needs help, speak "Restore" over them.
And remember....boundaries are good for you!

"The glory of the LORD
shall be revealed,
And all flesh shall see it together;
For the mouth
of the LORD has spoken."
Isaiah 40:5
_________________________________________________________________

Dear Saints,
When you and I turned our calendar page from June to July, something more than the passing of one month to another took place. I have never been more joy-full!

Do you remember when King David brought the Ark of God from the house of Obed-Edom into Jerusalem? They were singing, dancing, and rejoicing in the Lord with shouting and the sound of the trumpet—offering blood sacrifices every six paces.

David’s wife scolded him for his free and unrestrained praise, trying to shame him for making a spectacle of himself. What was the King’s response?

“And I will be yet more vile than this, and will be base in mine own sight…”
2 Samuel 6:22

Why was David’s joy so uninhibited?
Because the Ark of God contained the Presence of the Most High God!

While the Ark was at the house of Obed-Edom, he and all his house were blessed.
David and all the house of Israel were rejoicing because the Most High and The Blessing would now be with them and upon them. 2 Samuel 6:18.

The Presence of God Resides In and Upon His Church
The Old Testament is of great value to us, giving us examples that were written for our admonition. See 1 Corinthians 10:11  As God was with the patriarchs of faith, so God is with us.

His Presence shall be known and seen upon us in a mighty way as we get closer to the return of Jesus Christ.

King David was experiencing the great blessing of God, His tangible Presence in the Ark of God! But David would have given his all to actually become the place where God would dwell, the temple of His Holy Spirit.

That’s you, that’s me…a new creation in Christ Jesus!

We don’t have to offer animal sacrifices every six steps we take. Jesus shed His precious blood once for all…forever and ever. God has written His laws on our circumcised hearts and has become one with man through the new birth.

These are the “better things” that were provided for us…the promise the First Covenant Saints did not receive while they were here. Read Hebrews 11:39-40. We have a glorious heritage of faith, a grand cloud of witnesses that scripture says we are surrounded by. Hebrews 12:1

THE BLESSING—NOT THE CURSE
What is the blessing?
The blessing is part of God’s original plan when He made man/woman.
The curse came to steal it.

Jesus Christ came to get it back and to put it in man...through Him.

What is the main objective of The Blessing?

The Blessing is God’s authority upon His people to accomplish His will.

Read Genesis 1:26-28 and Galatians 3:13-14.

THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS AT HAND--Mark 1:15
This is our time to rise and shine, not to whine about what our government is doing.
“His Kingdom rules overall.” Psalm 103:19

Remember who you are.
Remember your training and remember that The Creator of all is with us to prosper us and not with those who are wicked. Let’s boldly declare what King David said, “I will be yet more vile than this, and will be base in mine own sight….”

God is our strength!  We are joint heirs with Jesus. Romans 8:17
Let’s be more fervent for the gospel, more bold, and more courageous still!

GOD’S DESIRE…OUR DESIRE
But guess who our prayer assignment is for?  The wicked! 2 Corinthians 4:1-18
It is vital that we do not look and dwell on things we see, for they are subject to change.

God can change your State in one day!

Prayer is needed for those government leaders who oppose The Church… “they know not what they do.”

Guard Your Heart—and Your Tongue

Criticism will not encourage your faith to do the mighty works but will eat at it just like rust corrodes metal. Faith is a spiritual force coming forth from your heart.

Faith requires us to love those who are ignorant of spiritual laws.

Jesus said when you stand praying…forgive.
Maybe our leaders would be making better choices if we, The Church, would stop being so bitter and hateful toward them. “Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.”

Forgiveness is not an option but a command from the Head of The Church.

Moving Mountains? Mark 11:22-26

“And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.”

Unforgiveness, bitterness, and holding onto offenses inhibit our capacity to receive more of the glory.

The Holy Spirit is our Helper
God’s Presence is with us to help us release fear and bitterness toward others.
God wants our hearts full of love so that faith can be more effective. Clean out the heart, watch your thoughts and words, and bless your enemies.

Your actions affect the Body of Christ, either for good or for bad.

God looks on the heart.
“… if My people who are called by My name
  • will humble themselves,
  • and pray and seek My face,
  • and turn from their wicked ways,
  • then I will hear from heaven,
  • and will forgive their sin
  • and heal their land.

“Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place. For now I have chosen and sanctified this house, that My name may be there forever; and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually.” 2 Chronicles 7:14-16

The Presence of God has criteria or protocol for us to follow.
It was so in the time of King David. When Uzziah touched the Ark of God, he died immediately.
After the Day of Pentecost, the Apostle Peter had a Holy Ghost meeting. When a certain husband and wife conspired to deceive and lie to Peter, both fell down and breathed their last.
Why? They lied not to men but to God. Read Acts 5:1-11.

JULY 2015—Times are A-Changin'
This prayer ministry began with scripture—Isaiah 40:3-11.
We, along with a multitude of other prayer groups, have been called to lay a foundation for the glory of God to be manifested. Just imagine all the people that have had this same assignment to pray for the glory in all the years before us.

When our Father was distraught with the children of Israel, He looked forward thousands of years as He revealed the future to Moses.

“Then the LORD said: ‘I have pardoned, according to your word; but truly, as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD ….’”
Numbers 14:20-21

THE GLORY OF GOD—Our Assignment Now
“The glory of the LORD shall be revealed,
And all flesh shall see it together;
For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.” Isaiah 40:5

Scripture was written…so that it might be spoken.
Memorize this scripture.
Pray it! Write it on a card. Say it throughout your day.
Open your window and declare it to your city!

THE GLORY OF THE LORD SHALL BE REVEALED AND ALL FLESH SHALL SEE IT TOGETHER!
Wow!
Only God knows what the fullness of His glory will look like.

But one example can be found in the following prophecy from Jesus. The final impact of His word is to a generation to come: The Church of the End Days!

That’s now and that’s us!
The Parable of the Wheat and the Tares
“Another parable He put forth to them, saying: ‘The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way.

“‘But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared. So the servants of the owner came and said to him, “Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?” He said to them, “An enemy has done this.” The servants said to him, “Do you want us then to go and gather them up?” But he said, “No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, ‘First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.’ ” ’ ” Read Matthew 13:24-43 which includes the Lord's explanation.

SEPARATION—Good for the Church—See 2 Corinthians 6:17-18.

Did you know that one definition of judgment is separation?
This is a work of the Holy Spirit: “And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment…” John 16:8

Separation for Preparation
The Church is on target to harvest the earth and to meet her Savior in the air.
1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

Another definition of judgment has to do with the “Day of the Lord” (Joel, Chapter Two)
or a period of divine judgments brought about by the increase of rebellion to God.
See Vines Dictionary: “Judgment.”

Praying Saints, don’t be fearful about recent changes in our laws and what the wicked desire to do. It’s only temporary. If Jesus came to get us right now, those laws would only be in effect for seven years.

What God speaks lasts forever!

“For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh…Therefore, what God has joined together, let no man separate.” See Matthew 19:4-6 and Genesis 2:24.

Marriage did not originate by human law. It was ordained by God, our Creator.

Those taking a stand for righteousness and those taking a stand for sin widen the gap between us and draws a very definite line in the sand about what one believes.
We can see this also in the parable of the tares and wheat.

Consider God’s Timing
God withdrew the children of Abraham from slavery in Egypt to send them into the Promised Land where The Blessing would come upon them. But the time for Egypt’s judgment had come upon them.  Have no fear Saints!

The word of the LORD for you today is this:
“The Blessing is in your house!”
Declare this often.
