Dear Saints Who Pray,

Team Tuesday Bible Study has closed and has been renamed:
THE LIBRARY

Notice to the right of this page there are nearly four years of Bible Studies, beginning with February 5, 2013. That’s about 150 lessons on prayer, steps to faith, the authority of the Believer, your new identity in Christ, fulfilling your purpose, and so on. Please take advantage of these valuable Bible Studies.

Beginning on October 4, 2017, we will have a new resource called:                        This is that...
Shorter than our Team Tuesday Bible Study, these lessons are written for you to meditate on, or launch you into further study. Each teaching will reveal and give light to scripture by comparing scripture to scripture.

Only God can reveal God.
Only His Spirit can “guide us into all truth.” (John 16:13)

The goal of this ministry is to edify and strengthen God’s people who have an assignment to pray, and to always put God’s Word first place.

Be sure to take advantage of these Bible Studies. Study the scriptures by writing those that speak to you in your journal and meditate on them for several days. Like a farmer, you're planting them in your heart.
Also, check Current Events for continual new updates.

I would like to introduce you to someone who lives with you every day.

“Oh, I know the LORD already. He’ll never leave me nor forsake me.”

PART ONE
Yes, the Spirit of the LORD came to live in you. But there’s someone else that is hidden and sometimes isolated, disconnected from participating in your day to day living — the newly created man who is born from above. He is new!

Did you know that you were born of a seed?

“You mean like how I was born of my Mom and Dad?”
Yes, that seed produced a body that is designed to live only on this planet.

But that earthly seed did not make you alive unto your Creator, the maker of Heaven and Earth. There’s only way to be born of God’s seed. (See Romans 10:8-10)

“... having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever ...” (1 Peter 1:23)
“... who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” (John 1:13)

Your spirit was not made alive until it was quickened by the seed (life) of God. The DNA of God resides within you. “Christ in you the hope of glory!” (Colossians 1:27)

YOU ARE A SPIRIT
YOU HAVE A SOUL
YOU LIVE IN A BODY

Your mother and father had to be joined together in order to produce life, right?

What about your spirit?
When you heard the gospel preached, your will embraced the breath of God which entered into you through grace and faith. Life ... made alive that which previously did not exist. (Read Ephesians 2:4-10 & 2 Corinthians 5:17)

Your first birth was made from corruptible seed that was stained by the sin of Adam.
Your second birth came forth from an incorruptible seed, God’s Word.

“It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing.
The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.”
(John 6:63)

Your Bible is a spiritual container of life-breathed words only understood by those whose spirit is connected to their Creator. Jesus said, “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” (John 4:24)

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, (God-breathed) and is profitable for
doctrine,
for reproof,
for correction,
for instruction in righteousness,
that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
(2 Timothy 3:16-17) See also the Amplified Version.

PART TWO
“The kingdom of God is within you.” (Luke 17:21)

Two births, two natures!
We are unusual people, we Christians. We are citizens of the nation we live in, but more importantly, citizens of the Kingdom of God. (Philippians 3:20) We’re called out to be Ambassadors of that kingdom.

Jesus said, “I send you out as sheep amidst wolves,” yet we’re asked to love those who persecute us and to pray for them. And we’re asked to witness to them and to disciple them.

The Call of God
What we accomplish here will influence our eternal life and rewards.
“But hold fast what you have till I come. And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations— ...” (Revelation 2:25-26)

The Assignment
“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature ...cast out demons...speak with new tongues...lay hands on the sick and they will recover.” (See Mark 16:14-20)

The transformation of the nations has not taken place as it should because so many in The Church don’t know who they are, the spiritual authority they have been given, or what they’re ministry is.

Even those who have some knowledge of these things don’t believe in the mighty power of God, or in other words, don’t believe that what God said in scripture is for them. Many all over the world attend church services every week, listening to a watered-down gospel and teachings that are corrupted with the religious traditions of men.

Whatever happened to, “If God said it, I believe it; that settles it!”

PART THREE
“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” (Matthew 4:4)

Eating the Bread that Came Down From Heaven   John 6:41
Just as your natural body requires healthy food that comes from the earth, your spirit or "the hidden man of the heart" (1 Peter 3:4) ... requires healthy, spiritual faith-food that came out of God when it was spoken and then written.

Spirit-man receives his food, not with a fork and knife, but his food (scripture) is received as it enters the eye gate (reading), and also the ear gate — as “faith comes by hearing.” That’s why ministers encourage us to read the Bible out loud during study time. This process nourishes and strengthens the spirit of man, yes, like Superman, to be a mighty force for God’s kingdom on earth. Although the kingdom of darkness is against this, the new creation Christ-centered man is well equipped with supernatural weapons that will overcome the enemy.

Yet, we need to be aware of his strategies ...

THE CONSEQUENCES OF EATING A BAD DIET
Have you ever been listening to a minister teaching on God’s Word and then hear him try to qualify what the scripture really means by making comments about why you should not really believe whole-heartedly what it says? After all, we don’t want you to be disappointed if it doesn’t come to pass! This is evil and kills faith before it's even birthed!

Years ago, I attended a large conference and one of the classes I chose had a minister who was teaching us that some of the stories in the Old Testament were just fables handed down from one generation to the next. You would think Christians would have walked out of the room, but I was the only one who left. Why would I want lies going into my ears and heart?

Of course this is a more blatant example of religious tradition. Other times the devil is more subtle when trying to inject the venom of doubt into scripture. It’s nothing new.

Isn’t that what he used in the garden when he said to Eve, “Did God really say?”

Perversion of truth is prevalent in our society these days but is also permeating our churches and on the Christian airways. Those who don’t know their Bible receive this error as if it were truth.

A continual diet of that will weaken and subdue your spirit-man to be led about by feelings: up one day, down the next, always seeking help from man. This does not please God.

Why? Because you have the dunamis of God, His Holy Spirit abiding in your spirit. He must have the preeminence so that we can accomplish the greater works in our day. Don’t let anyone steal who God made you to be!

Jesus was angry with the religious leaders of His day.
“Thus you have made the commandment of God of no effect by your tradition. Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying:
‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth,
And honor Me with their lips,
But their heart is far from Me.
And in vain they worship Me,
Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’”
(Matthew 15:6-9)

Mixing the Holy Scripture with words of doubt will pollute the seed!
Every failure of scripture not coming to pass is because of seeds that were corrupted by what we or someone else said that caused the circumstances to seem to be far more powerful in our eyes than God’s Word.

It is written...means it is established! What is established will accomplish the end result. “Forever LORD Your word is settled in heaven.” (Psalm 119:89)

Don’t Mix the Seed
  • “You shall keep My statutes.
  • You shall not let your livestock breed with another kind.
  • You shall not sow your field with mixed seed.
  • Nor shall a garment of mixed linen and wool come upon you.” (Leviticus 19:19)

“And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.” (Ezekiel 44:23)

THE END DAYS CHURCH
“LORD, please send revival! Bring the miracles and signs and wonders in our day.”

If The Church is going to go to another level we’re going to have to change our diet! Good healthy food that is pure truth is spiritual substance that is attained by revelation knowledge given by the Holy Spirit of Truth. This strengthens and empowers your inner man.

“You have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.” (1 John 2:20) It's the anointing that destroys yokes and removes bondage. (Acts 10:38)

“A wise man is strong,
Yes, a man of knowledge increases strength...”
(Proverbs 24:5)

You can soar like an eagle and dominate the heavens or peck around on the dirt like a chicken always seeking something else to eat. The choice is yours. Just remember, the world is waiting to see the Kingdom of God revealed!

Your prayer time:
Read/study scripture, then pray/sing in tongues awhile. Worship God. This will allow spirit-man to rise up and release God's Spirit to do great exploits when you begin praying! (Daniel 11:32) Let Holy Spirit lead you! That's how you follow Jesus into doing the greater works...even in your prayer closet!

 CLOSING COMMENTS
  • Ask the Holy Spirit to alert you when scripture is being compromised.
  • Realize the thief is trying to steal your inheritance as God’s child.
  • Guard your heart. Change the channel when someone is teaching error.
  • If you know who you are in Christ, the deceiver cannot steal your identity.
  • Understand fully that your identity in Christ is far greater than who you see in the mirror everyday.
  • Jesus used scripture against the lies. We must do the same to overcome. (Matthew 4:1-11)
  • “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God.” (Romans 8:14)
  • Let spirit-man rise up and crucify the flesh or the flesh will subdue your spirit.
  • Read Galatians Chapter five.

"Well, what about revival..."
Jesus is cleansing His church of spots, wrinkles, and blemishes by the washing of water by the Word, that she should be holy. When you know company is coming to visit, what do you do? Clean the house!

Suggested Assignment

Dear Saints Who Pray,
Do you have a journal?

Many years ago I heard a teaching by Lynn Hammond about how important it is to have a prayer journal. Lynn is an author and intercessor. She and her husband Mac started Living Word Christian Center in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota many years ago.

I noticed my journals have changed over the past thirty-five years, but still contain heart secrets from my Father. They are also used for my personal Bible Studies. My journal and my Bible are always together.

This-N-That
I felt led to share some nuggets from the pages of my journal which I wrote the first couple of weeks in January. Some are short directives from Heaven; others are notes from my studies:

Build life by exercising the law of faith in Romans 8:2. How? By speaking words of faith and love.

The way God provides for me is through a seed. The scriptures are seed that need to be planted. A seed will meet any need. Philippians 4:19

The Word begins to build an image on the inside. Line up with the Word. The enemy is after that image.

Understanding Kingdom authority — Whatever you allow, heaven allows. (Matthew 16:19) Every place the sole of your foot shall tread ... Joshua 1:3
Boldness: The righteous are bold as a lion. Proverbs 28:1 & Proverbs 30:30

It’s all flowing out of image.

Study of Colossians 1:9-11:
Knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding
Produces:
Walking worthy of the LORD
Which produces:
The fullness of pleasing Him
Which produces:
Being fruitful in every good work
Which produces
Increasing in the knowledge of God
Which will produce
Being strengthened with ALL might
According
To His glorious power
For
All patience and longsuffering with joy
That produces
Giving thanks to the Father
Who
Has qualified us to be
Partakers of the inheritance
Of
The Saints
In the light.
Conclusion: I am delivered from the power of darkness and conveyed into His Kingdom – all that the Kingdom is and has we inherited as joint heirs

What to do with contrary thoughts:
Never wonder why it’s not working
SLAP THEM DOWN! Al (my friend) likes to say: “Oh no you don’t!!!”

Faith is the golden key to the Kingdom of God resources.
i.e. — like someone of honor who is given the key to the city.
Prayer: effective strategies for America’s officials – active participation (continual prayer is necessary from the corporate church)

Three views of Healing:
1. Healing has been done away with
2. God does heal — only IF it’s His will
3. Healing, along with Salvation, belongs to His Body and to the world.
Jesus is God’s gift to the world
Holy Spirit is God’s gift to The Church
Acts 3:2 The lame man
Acts 3:16 “And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong...”
Did you have to wait for two years to receive salvation? No! Why wait for healing? It’s the same thing. Healing came with the package!
Sickness comes from satan. God is not the author.

The anointing is a manifestation of the Holy Spirit. It is power (dunamis).
The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is the gateway to the supernatural. The biggest miracle is the NEW BIRTH!
The anointing on Jesus wouldn’t work for people in His home town. (Matthew 13:58)
The anointing works — through faith.

The earth has been given to the children of men. (Psalm 115:16)
Faith in His name
Jesus — the perfect will of God
He hasn’t changed nor the Father
The name has been given to men for them to use

Study: Hebrews 1:2
Father appointed Jesus heir of all things
Jesus is the lawful owner of everything— He has legal rights
Wrote 1 Peter 3:22 on a card...placed in my kitchen
Abraham and his seed received the promise that he would be heir of the world, not through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. (Romans 4:12-13)
Connection: live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed. (1 Peter 2:24)

The planet is groaning for the manifestation of the sons of God (Romans 8:19)
Psalm 103:1-5 Longevity ... If you don’t believe for it, you won’t get it
Faith is an act
Faith is voice activated

Study: Love fulfills all the law
A new commandment: love one another as I have loved you (John 13:34)
Faith works through love
The Body of Christ is the Body of the anointing
Enemies of love:
Spirit of division: racism, employers & employees, political parties, etc.
Spirit of division: husband & wives (dogged determination to correct one another)
Spirit of division: Offense & strife – avoid disputes
Taking communion: Discern the Body (many are sick, weak, dead) 1 Corinthians 12:27-34 & 1 Corinthians 12:25)
Forgive quickly
Walking in love is walking in healing
Be kind, forgiving one another as God in Christ forgave you (Ephesians 4:32)
He who loves fulfills the law (Romans 13:8 & 10)
Perfect love casts out all fear

Study: What is man? Psalm 8
Original text: man is not under the angels but made a little lower than Elohim vs. 5
The Kingdom of God is ruled by a king. It is not a democracy.
In His Kingdom there’s no intellectual debating — His Word is final authority
“I am watching over My Word to perform it ...” (Jeremiah 1:12)
It’s time to walk in authority, the authority of the Word
If your soul is not prosperous — mind, will, emotions — it will act like a 2 year old screaming for what it wants. (Flesh) This hinders the spirit man where the Word of God abides. Derails the faith connection ...exactly what satan wants.
Must renew the mind
Meditate: 3 John 2

Study: Words
The enemy wants to pressure us into speaking words to bring things in that we don’t want
Numbers 13 & 14
He told Israel they were going to take the land
Majority said — we can’t do it. We’re going to die if we go there...
God cannot lie. Promises are His will. His will is manifested by preaching...Titus 1:2-3
It is His plan to prosper us.  (Jeremiah 29:11-14)

Closing Comments
I don’t mind telling you I was somewhat hesitant about sharing notes from my journal for this lesson. After all, my journal is private business ... but I did leave out a couple of personal things.

One thing I recognized after reviewing this lesson was an overall picture of what He was saying to me. There was more here than I thought. And the way I study isn't always the same. My present study in the Book of Isaiah has a different format. I just seek to follow my Teacher's instructions ... it's more fun this way!

But what if I had not written these things down?

Certainly, this learning process called “living by faith” is quite a journey and it seems the more we know about spiritual things, the more we find out how much more there is to know!

This lesson caused me to go back and read through a couple of old journals I had as a baby Christian. What a mishmash of disorder! There were lots of up and down days dealing with family and inner conflicts, yet striving to walk the walk of faith. I also was pleased to notice names of people with needs on those prayer lists and how God has answered so many prayers over the years. Now that will boost your faith!

You don’t have to be a writer to have a journal. Give God the opportunity and He will help you to express yourself in writing. Quiet times separated to the LORD slow us down so that He can reveal Himself and also help pull up hidden things of the heart. There's just something about writing with pen and paper ... "Be still and know that I am God." (Psalm 46:10)

This is the secret place of the Most High, one in which He can touch our innermost being with His love and joy, strengthening us; or bringing correction for success that can mature our inner man for advancement. I have found many times while writing that He has revealed answers to me. Why? My spirit, soul, and body got quiet. And, of course, praying in tongues often accompanies these times.

So, we can see that "prayer times" accompany different aspects of what is known as “being in the Spirit.” Think about the Apostles. Deep spiritual truths were written in their letters for the edification of The Church. Their impact is astounding for the advancement of God's Kingdom on earth!

Don’t you want to record your own personal treasures from heaven in your life book?

“How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!
How great is the sum of them!” Psalm 139:17

What are you worrying about?

“Well, I’m not worried, just concerned about my job because they're laying people off at the plant where I work. I’m also concerned about my wife and kids who aren’t really interested in following the LORD, and my church, well, it just seems like nothing is happening there. I think the fire has gone out. When I watch Fox News every night, I just can’t believe all the mess that is going on in the government...a shadow government, threats of war? Dear Lord, it’s been keeping me awake at night. I keep wondering, where’s God in all this mess?”

One thing to remember about what’s going on in the world is to remember where we are in God’s timeline of earth’s history.

The Day of the LORD Cometh ...
“Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven. Now this, ‘Yet once more,’ indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.

“Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire.” (Hebrews 12:26-29)

Living in the end days while God is tending to the nations is no excuse to be fearful. No matter what the circumstances are around us, we are called to walk in love and live by faith in God, for without faith it is impossible to please Him.

Why?
Faith is the channel by which He rewards those who diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6)

Let’s look at something that eats away at faith slowly, like rust on metal.

WORRY
Our Christian brother said he wasn’t worried, just concerned. The truth is he is worried! Worry is the top layer of something evil hiding underneath. FEAR!

Fear is belief that something bad will happen. It is the direct opposite of faith. Both are a spiritual force. And both manifest according to choice in the human will.

Fear and faith are affected by what you see, hear, dwell on, and talk about. It’s your choice what outcome you will experience: anxiety, distress, concern, anguish OR peace, contentment, enjoyment, satisfaction.

Fear comes from the spirit of fear who has a goal: to prevent faith from succeeding.

TRUSTING GOD
Do you believe that God wanted you to be born on earth during this time of earth’s history to be a major influence and affect the direction of your family, the company you work for, the neighborhood you live in, the church you attend, and this nation that you so love?

Do you remember what Mordecai told Esther?

“For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” (Esther 4:14)

Mordecai and Esther walked by faith during a time when the enemy of Israel was making plans to annihilate all the Jews! God brought about a magnificent turn of events as the gallows the enemy built to kill Mordecai was used instead to kill Haman himself. Afterward the king issued a decree protecting every Jew in the nation. What a turn around! This is good to remember when everything seems hopeless with issues concerning our government.

BY FAITH SUBDUED KINGDOMS ... Hebrews 11:33
God is very much on the scene right now, influencing our nation through His Holy Spirit and members of the Body of Christ.

This is an amazing time in earth’s history. These are the days just prior to the great and awesome day of the LORD!  You and I have been chosen and appointed. We have come to the kingdom for such a time as this to fulfill our individual assignments, just as important as Mordecai and Esther were in their calling. Esther laid down her life to do God’s will and go before the king. We, as people of prayer, give ourselves to follow the inward witness of God’s Spirit in continual prayer, for prayer is the tool God uses for change!

RENEWING THE MIND: A NECESSITY TO PRODUCE CHANGE
The fulfilling of your assignment will not reach it fullest potential without knowing and believing what God’s Word says about who you became in Christ and what you have been given. Where there is a lack of this knowledge, there will be a gaping hole for the enemy of God to take up residency.

If worry is keeping you awake at night, renew your mind to the scriptures before going to sleep. And remember to eat the breakfast of champions every morning: Scripture!

LIFE IN 2017
What does Jesus have to say to us? Let’s look at Matthew 6:22-34.

Vs. 19-21  “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth...lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven...for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
  • Treasure God’s Word. Put it first place in your heart by doing what it says.

Vs. 22-23  “The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness.”
  • “Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.” (Colossians 3:2) Where your treasure is will be made known by your communication and by choices you make. Have faith in God’s love. Live free from ALL worry! It will be health to your flesh. (See 3 John 2) Faith and love are light.

Vs. 24  “You cannot serve God and mammon.”
You are to love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself. (Luke 10:27)
  • The love of money is the root of all evil.

Vs. 25-34  “Therefore do not worry, saying,
‘What shall we eat?’
‘What shall we drink?’
‘What shall we wear?’
For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”
  • Notice how worry enters into your heart... by SAYING fearful thoughts!

  1. Treasure God’s Word
  2. Walk in love, free from all worry. It is health to your flesh.
  3. You cannot serve two masters. Love God; love people ... not money. Tithe!
  4. Do not worry — SAYING. We plant crops by our words ... good or bad. (James 3:5)

Let’s go back to our Christian brother who is not worried, just concerned.
For one thing, our dear brother is not seeing clearly. He is worried and in fear about many things: insecure about his job, bewildered about his family’s spiritual condition, blaming his church for him not receiving God’s presence, having trouble sleeping at night, wondering about this shadow government business, and beginning to blame God, wondering where He is.

A regimen of prayer and study time with the Holy Spirit will pluck up tiny weeds of worry that can infiltrate and begin to smother faith in God as they grow up. (Mark 4:19)

When the light of the treasure within begins to darken, the lamp of the body, the eye, will begin to see and interpret things differently, like wearing dark sunglasses 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

In other words, “Is the glass half empty or is the glass half full?” Darkness will always answer, “Of course the glass is half empty!”

So, can you see a scenario taking place in the life of this Christian brother and his family?

WHERE YOUR TREASURE IS ... THERE YOUR HEART WILL BE ALSO
“Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, ‘Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.’

“And Jesus answered and said to her, ‘Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.’” (Luke 10:38-42)

You and I have been given something from God that is His will for every human born on earth: the will to choose Him or not to choose Him. Wherever Jesus journeyed in His ministry, hearts were revealed. Jesus corrected Martha, going to the root of her anger toward Him and the anger toward her sister.

This matter of “choice” is something for us to consider in our busy lives and the many distractions and choices we have to make every day.

Where is your treasure?

Worried and troubled about many things?
Keith Moore recently gave an outstanding teaching that will edify you. We're not under the circumstances, we are OVER them! It is sixty-five minutes.

Be sober, be vigilant, for your adversary the devil walks about seeking whom he may devour. Resist him steadfast in the faith. (1 Peter 5:7-11)
Walk in the Spirit and you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
Those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. (Galatians 5:16 & 24)

Praying for the Glorious Church to Arise ...
and a Spirit of repentance to come upon our states!

Many years ago I heard this story:

A college student was reading the newspaper and found her name in a list of people who had inherited money that had not yet been claimed because they could not be located. This young woman found out that she was heir to an estate, a sizable sum of money.

What had kept her from using her inheritance all those years?

She just didn’t know...
She could not use that money because she was ignorant of its existence, even though the one who left it to her wanted her to have it to enjoy. It was sitting in a bank account with her name on it, but how could she withdraw from an account she didn’t know existed?

This is a picture of many born-again Christians, and it is NOT pleasing to God our Father.

OUR INHERITANCE: THE BLESSING
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ ...  having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will ... In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will ...”
(Ephesians 1:3, 5, & 11)

Our first birth brought with it a family. So did our second birth.

We may not have had rich parents, but with our second birth we inherited a Father who is Creator and Owner of all that is on this planet and where He lives the streets are made of gold! The great difference or separation between these two families is because of Adam’s sin in the garden. From that point on, God, His Kingdom, and His ways, would operate in another realm, apart from the five-sense realm that we are so familiar with here on earth.

Everything in God’s Kingdom flows from what He says, whether in Heaven or on earth. Jesus said: “...  It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.’” (Matthew 4:4)

Just like our example of the college student that had no knowledge of her inheritance until the day she read about it, so it is with every Christian. It is up to each member of Christ’s Body to know what we inherited with our second birth, and the ONLY way to know that is through reading and studying the Bible for ourselves first, and second, to receive from the five ministry gifts: apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, and teacher. (Ephesians 4:11)

BUT ...
If the five-fold ministers you are listening to have no knowledge of their inheritance rights and privileges for themselves, they will teach error to the ignorant who never take the time to read and study for themselves, and so, ignorance and religious tradition gets passed down from one generation to the next generation. This is NOT pleasing to our Father.

It is not up to your Pastor to do all the studying for you.

When The Church assembles together to celebrate and to hear the Word, it should be in addition to what they have been receiving the other six days of the week. In this way, each of us make it easier for our Pastors to preach.

Why? Because we are good ground!

In other words your personal Teacher who lives with you has been spending quality time with you every day, plucking up weeds from how you think, and planting truth in your heart all week!

YOUR INHERITANCE
When Christ died, an inheritance was laid up for every Believer. Think about that. Provision for every need was given before you were born.

But you won’t know about it unless you know what God has said in the scriptures. And you can’t enjoy what you don’t know you have.

Just like our college student had an account, we as heirs of God and joint heirs with Jesus Christ (Romans 8:17) have been freely given divine power and all things that pertain to life and godliness.

“... His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” (2 Peter 1:3-4)

So what are we saying?
We have an inheritance now! We don’t inherit it after we die.
We inherited it when Jesus died!
This of course includes eternal life. Jesus covered it all!

If you don’t know all that you inherited when you asked Jesus to come into your heart, you won’t enjoy the provisions Jesus desires you to experience now — the abundant life — (John 10:10,) but will instead think your inheritance is only something to be enjoyed when you get to Heaven ... after you die.

This is incorrect thinking. It comes out of this world’s system of erroneous religious beliefs because it is not based on scripture. (Romans 12:2)

And if you don’t know how to make a withdrawal from your inheritance you won’t be able to take advantage of it. That does not please God. He sent His Son to the cross to redeem you from the curse of the law AND so you can partake of the Blessing of Abraham in your life! (Galatians 3:8-14)

Your name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life!
Just like our college student found her name on that list and began to partake of her inheritance and enjoy life, you too have an inheritance from your Heavenly Father as His heir! (Romans 8:17)

Therefore, be aware, know, understand, believe, take action, dig into the Word and find out all that belongs to you as a joint heir of Jesus! This all means, “The just shall live by (his) faith! (Hebrews 10:38) And that does please God!!! (Hebrews 11:6)

“So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.” (Acts 20:32)

Your inheritance account comes with a withdrawal slip: FAITH!
Example of a withdrawal slip ... Faith in 3 John 2
"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."
Here's another one: Faith in Joshua 1:8
And: Faith in Philippians 4:13
There are thousands of promises in God's Word waiting to be claimed by faith!

SUGGESTED ASSIGNMENT
Please scroll down and read the previous lesson on faith. Study how faith works and put it into action. Release the Word of Faith out of your mouth. Call things that be not as though they were! Use your authority as a Believer, dear heart.

When you get to Heaven and find out ALL that Jesus provided that you did not take advantage of, you cannot lie to Him and say, “Well, I just didn’t know.” Selah

“Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8)

The first time I read that scripture, probably around 1980, it disturbed me. And why did Jesus make this statement immediately following a teaching on prayer? “... men ought always to pray and not lose heart?” Would that mean, if we did “lose heart,” that our faith has become feeble? That would of course disable our prayers.

Life on earth in 1980 and life on earth in 2017 has drastically changed. Iniquity and lawlessness abound and love grows cold. And there are a lot more distractions that seek to pull us away from time with the LORD and study in His Word.

What do you think?
Will Jesus find faith on the earth when He returns in the air?
Will He find faith on earth when He returns to Jerusalem?
We, The Church, need to be watching and waiting for Him, determined to run our race all the way to the finish line! One thing fuels our walk with God. That is FAITH!

God will speak to you through this lesson to stir up your faith. Earnest steadfast prayer that never gives up draws its courage from persistent overcoming faith! Prayer is dependant on faith and faith is dependant on the Word.

“Now the just shall live by faith;
But if anyone draws back,
My soul has no pleasure in him.” (Hebrews 10:38)

LIVING BY FAITH
THE MINDSET OF A CHAMPION

The Spirit of Faith
What is the spirit of faith? It is the foundation of our new life in God, for believing in our heart and confessing with our mouth is the only door to enter into salvation. (Romans 10:10)

“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, ‘I believed, and therefore have I spoken’; we also believe, and therefore speak ...” (2 Corinthians 4:13)

We believe, therefore we speak...
Peter wondered how that fig tree which Jesus spoke to had withered away.

“So Jesus answered and said to them, ‘Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, “Be removed and be cast into the sea,” and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.’” (Mark 11:22-23)

THE AUTHORITY OF THE BELIEVER
“Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 18:18)

In Matthew 16:18, Jesus gives us additional insight about how this spiritual realm operates, because The Glorious Church is to dominate that realm!
“... I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven...”

This is vitally important. Your authority, your ruling and reigning in Christ Jesus, (Romans 5:17), is based on you knowing what God has said about you, the new creation in Christ. Knowing this will change your life: Who I Am in Christ Scriptures

DELEGATED POWER
Does The Church fully realize that our authority over all the power of the enemy didn’t come from our earthly birth? This authority is not fleshly or mental power but is power that resides in the inner man where the Holy Spirit lives. (See also Luke 10:19) It is delegated power from the Kingdom of God backed by written documentation and a command to bring His decree into full manifestation!

We see an example of delegated authority in our local police force and our nation’s military. They are carrying out orders from their government. In like manner, we, too, are to administrate rulership in the unseen realm, under the laws of the government of God!

Jesus set up a safeguard against people running amok with this power.

The foundation to operating in faith: (speaking to mountains — taking authority over evil hindrances), can be found in four powerful words: “Have faith in God!”
And faith in God is hooked to what is written in the Holy Scriptures. This is how the system works.

It is exactly the same faith that God gave to you when you were born again, for “with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” What a miracle!

Having “faith in God” is a Kingdom key for unlocking supernatural power and authority. We can find many examples of supernatural events taking place in the Old Testament and New Testament.

THE UNSEEN REALM
Do you remember what Father said in Isaiah 55:10-11?
He gave this example. The rain comes down from heaven that it might water the earth and give seed to the sower. His Word (His promise) comes down and shall not return to Him void, but will accomplish and prosper in that for which it was sent.

Can you see the completed circle?

The Word was spoken...that it might be written.
The Word was written...that it might be spoken ...back to Him in faith!

This is the spirit of faith in action. “I believed (what was written) and therefore have I spoken.”

Faith must always have corresponding action or it remains dead as a door nail!

So we see that when Jesus was revealing the operation and power of faith to Peter concerning the dead fig tree, He placed a prerequisite on the power that is resident in His Word. “Have faith in God.” Mountains cannot move without this covenant between Father and child.

And remember, faith will wither under the heaviness of unforgiveness.

Faith is the Substance
Having faith in God means you believe what He said in your heart. That belief is ignited or quickened as you confess it, assured that it will be done. “Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward.” (Hebrews 10:35)

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
(Hebrews 11:1) We have an excellent resource on this website that has more information: “How to Exercise Your Faith”

There’s not ONE mountain in your life that you are required to move.

That’s not your job! Your job is to live daily in divine expectation. Give your angels time to work! (Psalm 103:20) Fight the good fight of faith, casting all your care on Jesus, being vigilant to take every thought captive to the Word. (2 Corinthians 10:3-5)

Resist the devil, steadfast in the faith. He WILL flee from you. After all, it is written.
(1 Peter 5:9)

But don’t think you can go off and play in the devil’s playground and see mountains move out of your life. “Do not be deceived: ‘Evil company corrupts good habits.’”

And not only that but bad company, even on TV, will open the door to unbelief and diminish your faith in God.

Without faith it is impossible to please God. (Hebrews 11:6)

Why is it so important to walk and live by faith? Because it opens up spiritual prayer channels for Him to accomplish His will in this dark and suffering world!

2017 —THE END DAYS CHURCH
The Church must move into her position as the Glorious Church without spot, wrinkle, or blemish...NOW! When we walk in faith and holiness, we have fellowship with God and with one another. (1 John 1:7)

And Father is on an earthly timeline to fulfill through His Church what is written: “... the works that I do he shall do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.” (John 14:12)

“For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.” (Romans 8:19)

“... that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church
to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places... (Ephesians 3:10)

Combine this with our beginning scriptures:
“... I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven...” (Matthew 16:19)
“Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 18:18)

So what are we hearing the Spirit of God say through this lesson?
He wants His Church fully developed in faith, taking the land for time is getting short.
He wants His Church on center stage, doing His will.

Prayer lays track for the Kingdom of God
“Then God Said ...” Genesis 1:3-25
Since everything on this planet came forth by words, everything on this planet is subject to His words that are coming forth from His Ambassadors—us! God’s original intent has not changed. (Genesis 1:26-28)

The creation eagerly waits for God’s children to take their authority.

When you take this knowledge into your prayer closet, accompanied by praying in the Spirit, it will catapult you into the Spirit realm where Holy Spirit can bring Father’s will into manifestation. LET HOLY SPIRIT LEAD THE WAY IN PRAYER!

When you pray, see yourself seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 2:6)

“Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.  And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.” (1 John 5:14-15)

Seeing things change is exciting! Pray for one another. Intercede for those leaders who are in authority. That includes Pastors! Pray about the weather. Bless the heavens over your state. Bless the earth that brings forth food.

Suggested Assignment:
Since faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God, make sure you are listening to anointed teachers often, if not daily. Fill your house with faith!

WHEN GOD’S WORD ISN’T ENOUGH

Jesus said, “Have faith in God.”

“Yeah, I know that verse. I’ve read it a thousand times. I have faith! I believe in God.”

Then why aren’t you content? Why are you on the run seeking after other things to satisfy the emptiness of your soul?

BE ON GUARD:
The Three W’S: Worry — Weary — Weak

The root of worry is fear. Fear takes up residency where there is a vacancy of “faith in God.” And whatever is not from faith is sin. (Romans 14:23)

Being worried will cause you to lose your joy. Lack of joy will affect your strength and cause weariness, a lack of hope/courage, which brings weakness to your faith and life. There are many scriptures to combat this.

God told Joshua: “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:8-9)

Worried?
“You are my hiding place;
You shall preserve me from trouble;
You shall surround me with songs of deliverance.” (Psalm 32:7)

Weary?
“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” (Matthew 11:28-29)

Weak?
“The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;
My God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” (Psalm 18:2)

The three W’s have some things in common.
They are symptoms that your soul is dominating your life!

You are a spirit, have a soul, and live in a body.

You are a new creation in Christ. That means you have already been “delivered from the power of darkness” (worry, weariness, and weakness) and have been transferred into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom you have redemption. (Colossians 1:13) That’s power to overcome anything! Where is that power located? How do we unlock it?

YOUR OWN WORST ENEMY Romans 7:18-23
The soul: mind, will, emotions, intellect (natural reasoning), and memories.

When the soul: mind, will, emotions (feelings), intellect, and memories are dominating your life, you will find yourself being pulled back into the world to find something to fill the void. That will put you on the road to being carnally minded (death). When the soul and the body rule, temptation and sin will be knocking at your door daily. See Romans 8:5-8.

This is not good for a Christian.
One foot in the world (the devil’s playground) and one foot in God’s Kingdom produce confusion and at its worst will cause the Christian to become hard hearted toward God’s Word, and eventually walk away from the LORD.

That propensity toward iniquity came through Adam.

GOING DEAF
Imagine not being able to hear and receive what your Pastor is saying.
Imagine having contrary thoughts against God’s Word as it is being preached.

Going deaf to The Word is a symptom of a heart that is on its way to becoming hardened. We know from the Parable of the Sower, hardened ground bears NO fruit from God’s promises. It’s like throwing seed on concrete. (Mark 4:14-20)

Is it possible for good fertile ground to become stony ground? Yes!
Is it possible for stony ground to become the wayside ground? Yes!

How can that happen?
Let’s reverse Jesus’ teaching on the Parable of the Sower, starting with the good ground.

Good ground can begin to harden when:
  • the cares of the world,
  • deceitfulness of riches,
  • and desires for other things enter into the heart
  • those thorns ... CHOKE THE WORD! That means the promises of God are not coming to pass in your life. This is the thorny ground Jesus spoke of.

That hardening will continue even further.

Stony Ground
These are people who hear and immediately receive The Word with excitement but have no root in them. I believe they have no real love for God. When trouble or persecution arises on account of The Word, they become offended and fall away. The Apostle Peter put it this way: "A dog returns to his own vomit." Read 2 Peter 2:20-22.

Wayside Ground
The final hardening is the wayside ground. When they hear, satan comes immediately and takes away The Word sown, like those who sit in church and hear the Pastor teach, but it’s in one ear and out the other. The seed cannot find a place to enter into the heart to produce life.

No Word, No faith. No faith, No strength.

In Paul’s letter to the Hebrews, he warns long-time Believers:
“Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away. For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward, how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him, God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will?”
(Hebrews 2:1-4)

“Do you mean someone who actually witnessed signs, wonders, and miracles could turn from God and fall back into the world?”

Yes! The Israelites witnessed God’s mighty acts in Egypt and walked on dry ground through the Red Sea, yet weeks later made a golden idol to worship! Some preachers in the twentieth century had great ministries with signs following, yet ended up in disgrace in their latter years.

LIFE IN 2017
Let’s wake up, dear Saints, for as long as we are on this earth to do God’s will and fulfill the call to take the land for His Kingdom, we must do those things we have learned in the beginning and continue daily to be fervent and connected to the LORD, for we have a deceitful enemy who is against The Church and The Glory!

Every contrary thought, all accusations against God’s Word, must quickly be taken captive and replaced by speaking God’s truth!

HOLY SPIRIT
“Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; but exhort one another daily, while it is called ‘Today,’ lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end, while it is said:

‘Today, if you will hear His voice,
Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.’”
(Hebrews 3:12-15)

LIVING IN THE RIVER OF LIFE
“Grace and peace be multiplied to you
in the knowledge of God
and of Jesus our Lord,
as His divine power
has given to us all things
that pertain to life and godliness,
through the knowledge of Him
who called us by glory and virtue,
by which have been given to us
exceedingly great and precious promises,
that through these
you may be partakers of the divine nature,
having escaped the corruption
that is in the world through lust.” (2 Peter 1:2-4)

Furthermore, the Apostle Peter admonishes us to be diligent, adding moral excellence to our faith, accompanied with knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly kindness and love.

Why? You will receive a reward:
“For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Peter 1:8)
_______________________________________

“WHEN GOD’S WORD ISN’T ENOUGH”
I heard that statement from the LORD and was led to expand it into this Bible Lesson.
If you are sensitive to His Spirit, you can feel the sorrow in these words.

This is nothing new to our Father, for the nation of Israel hurt Him every time they turned their face from Him to follow the ways of the world. The book of Hosea likens this to spiritual adultery.

“Don’t give up your birthright.”

THE TWINS: ESAU AND JACOB
Esau was the firstborn. That meant he inherited the right to the blessing with all its  privileges. He did nothing to deserve this except be born first. Jacob wanted that blessing more than anything else in life. He sought it, went after it, and got it.

Why did this take place?

Esau considered his birthright insignificant to him, sort of like how some Christians consider their birthright, the Holy Scriptures, and the vital role they play for The Church to be filled with God’s glory.

The New Testament gives The Church, each born again Believer in Jesus Christ, authority as Ambassadors of God’s Kingdom. We are to establish The Blessing in every nation. This we inherited, just like Esau when he was born. This was not of works which Esau did, just like our inheritance did not come by good works we did. Our Savior provided all our legal rights and privileges by His work on the cross and His resurrection.

Esau gave up his birthright because:
  1. He did not value his inheritance, his purpose in life.
  2. He was dominated by his flesh.
  3. He was ignorant of the cunning craftiness of someone who knew and recognized the superior advantage of what the birthright meant and what the birthright could do in transferring authority to rule and reign on earth.

And so, the trap was set and Esau gave away his birthright to Jacob for a bowl of stew! Think of that!

Interesting to note, the ancient Hebrews believed one’s birthright represented a high spiritual value.

SOME DECISIONS CANNOT BE REVERSED
“... lest there be any fornicator or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright. For you know that afterward, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought it diligently with tears.” (Hebrews 12:16-17)

What’s that got to do with the Body of Christ on earth in the year 2017?
The kingdom of darkness is after your birthright!

All things begin in the spiritual realm.

What if Jesus had submitted to the tempter in the desert?
“Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, ‘If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.’ But He answered and said, ‘It is written, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’”
 (Matthew 4:3-4)

If Jesus had yielded to that temptation, it would have revealed that He doubted what Father said about Him just before taking His journey into the wilderness. (Matthew 3:17)

If Jesus had given up His birthright, like Adam did, you would not be reading this Bible Lesson today!

“Oh, Lord Jesus, we are SO grateful for everything you overcame and for all we inherited through You! Help us daily to follow in Your footsteps.”

“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
(1 Corinthians 15:57)

“Yeah, but for some reason I just haven’t had a good track record of overcoming the enemy. Spiritual things just don’t seem to work out for me.”

THE TRANSFORMING POWER OF GOD’S WORD
The written Word of God will transform weakness of character and affect the decisions you make when you put God’s Word first place in your life.

That means that just as important as eating food is to you everyday, eating the rich living Word of God will transfer supernatural nutrition — power into your spirit man. Reading, studying, meditating, and hearing anointed faith teaching will strengthen you to act on God’s Word and overcome.

To abide in “The Vine” (John 15:5) means that the Holy Spirit, your power supply that is resident in your spirit, will help you overcome the temptation of momentary desires that try to pull you away from obedience to The Word. Memorize Acts 10:38.

If submitting to temptation happens on an ongoing basis, you will not have strength to resist and overcome the enemy. That’s why spiritual things “for some reason haven’t worked for you!”

What you value will be made known by your actions.
Is prayer and fellowship time with Father on the bottom of your “to do” list?

Esau would have inherited the blessing but someone else wanted it more than he did.

Will you have to fight the good fight of faith to keep your birthright and all that comes with it? Yes! “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)

ABIDING IN JESUS IS ABIDING IN YOUR INHERITANCE
Jesus paid a debt he didn’t owe, because we owed a debt we couldn’t pay. Before the foundation of the world, Jesus, God’s spotless Lamb, would give His life as the sacrifice for man’s sin. Redemption came as an unearned gift to mankind: our Salvation Package which includes deliverance, health, and prosperity or “life more abundantly” through Him.

“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” (2 Corinthians 5:21)

“The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs--heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.” (Romans 8:16-17)

If Esau had valued his inheritance he would have chosen to overrule his carnal desire, to suffer a little while longer, rather than trading it for a momentary appetite.

CHOICES
As citizens of God’s Kingdom, there will be times we will have to crucify our flesh as we choose to make decisions that go against our will and follow God’s Word instead.

EXAMPLE: Walking in love and forgiving people that offend you may not be something you really want to do; after all, they hurt you! But when we look at the big picture we can see that unforgiveness will hinder our faith walk. Why?

Faith works through love.
Faith needs to remain active, without being restricted, in order to overcome the enemy. Faith is the catalyst that will bring in desired results — like answered prayer. The spiritual act of forgiving someone is how we “overcome evil with good.”  This is one example of obeying scripture and “being a doer of the word.” Right here is how we present our body a living sacrifice and are being transformed by the renewing of our mind, not conforming to the ways of this world. (Romans 12:1-2) Not one Believer can truly walk in the Spirit without yielding our will to follow God’s ways.

“I say then: ‘Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.’” (Galatians 5:16)

“But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.” (James 1:25)

“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock ....” (Matthew 7:24)

“Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” (Matthew 7:22-23)

Many may call themselves Christians but actions speak louder than words because actions reveal what is in the hidden man of the heart.

We are, after all “in Christ,” and our lives are not our own.
(1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

That’s really good because we want all that Jesus provided for us to be working on our behalf.

Our Salvation Package, the Blessing of Abraham, is our birthright! (Galatians 3:13-14) And there will be times you will have to stand your ground and fight to keep your inheritance ... an inheritance that was bought with precious Blood!

Will you value it?

Those of Christ’s Body who have already finished their race and moved to Heaven have passed the baton to this end-days generation. Certainly they are cheering us on (Hebrews 12:1), for the finish line is much closer now than when we started, and we have a harvest to bring in!

Exercise Your God-Given Authority Every Day
Just like many people who desire to be fit and trim exercise their bodies continually, our spirit man is designed to be actively using our God-given authority to rule and reign (Romans 5:17) every day as Ambassadors of God’s Kingdom. The Kingdom of God is our inheritance! (Luke 12:32)

Jesus has given His powerful Spirit to indwell each of us. He has given His Body the keys of Heaven, yet many Christians lack knowledge of them or what to do with them.

EXAMPLE: If you are feeling down-trodden or depressed, that’s an indication that the enemy is trying to steal your inheritance through lying thoughts. Don’t ignore accusations or condemnation. Use God’s Word against the enemy. Stir yourself up, personalize the scripture, and boldly speak:

“No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment
You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
And their righteousness is from Me,”
Says the Lord.” Isaiah 54:17

This is your covenant right, your heritage as a new creation in Christ!
Use your sword of the Spirit, Saints!

This website has several resources that, when you act on them, will transform your life. This is how you prosper. This brings the good fruit of living life abundantly!
This is something no one else can do for you.

SUGGEST ASSIGNMENTS:
1.  Here is a recent faith-filled teaching from Keith Moore that will change your life — if you act on it. It's 45 minutes long:
http://www.flcmedia.org/FLCSarasota/MP4/2017/HD/170219Video.mp4

PLANTING YOUR BIRTHRIGHT — IN YOUR HEART (Mark 4:14)
2.  Use the following resources several times a week.

Epistle Prayers: Speak them, believe them. The Blessing is transferred by words.

Who I Am in Christ Scriptures: Say them out loud to plant God’s seed into the good ground of your heart that will remove the inferior image placed in you by the world. Your Kingdom identity is wrapped up in these scriptures. This is what you inherited at your second birth. They must be used against lies that come to steal your birthright/blessing!

Overcomer Scriptures: Say them to renew your mind to the truth that you are running a race that has long-term rewards.

Just as a farmer plants seed in his field to get the crop desired, planting God’s word into your heart will bring a lasting crop of rewards for you personally and will help establish God’s Kingdom on earth: the Blessing of being born again!

CHRIST IN YOU — THE HOPE OF GLORY! (Colossians 1:27)
“For the earth will be filled
With the knowledge of the glory of the Lord,
As the waters cover the sea.” (Habakkuk 2:14)

Why did you fall into that ditch?
“I’m not sure. I was doing great, then this thing came against me.”

Take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.

THE ARMOR OF GOD
This is God’s armor given to His people. Why? To protect targeted areas from the enemy.

What areas are a target?
  • Your inner strength of truth
  • Your new identity in Christ
  • Walking out your assignment for the Gospel
  • Your faith in God and His Word
  • Your salvation provisions (inheritance)
  • Your use of God’s Word in authority
  • Your prayer time

Spiritual warfare is unseen.
God’s all-powerful armor, given to His children, is spiritual, existing in the unseen realm. God’s armor is His power that can easily subdue and triumph over the natural five-sense realm.

Think about young David killing a giant or what about one angel who annihilated 185,000 soldiers in one night. The spiritual realm is far superior to the natural realm because we’re talking about the power of the Kingdom of God that made this earth realm. Our God is a consuming fire and His angels cannot be numbered! Read Hebrews 12:18-29.

That doesn’t mean we don’t have to deal with opposition.

We, The Church, have been told to exercise authority over the enemy; for Christ has “raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus ....” (Ephesians 2:6) The Apostle Peter exhorts us to be sober and to be vigilant. Resist the devil steadfast in your faith. Be a doer of God’s Word!

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” (Ephesians 6:10-11)

Remember, the scriptures tell us Jesus Christ has defeated and stripped principalities and powers, and removed condemnation from us. All authority in heaven and earth has been given to Him. By Him all things were created in heaven and earth, visible and invisible, principalities and powers.

All things were created through Him and for Him... “who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, angels and authorities and powers having been made subject to Him.” (1 Peter 3:22)

Therefore, receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness in order to “reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.” (Romans 5:17)

Imagine a police officer dressed in uniform, carrying his weapon. He has the authority, and the responsibility to arrest a thief. Why?

The value of authority depends upon the force (government) that is behind him.

THE ARMOR OF LIGHT
Notice each piece of God’s armor has something in common that is vitally important.

Each is founded on God’s written Word, the Bible.

“Okay, but how do I put all that armor on me?”

It’s an inside job! Just like a farmer plants a crop, Believers are to take the living scriptures and plant them in their heart continually. Here’s how:

“My son, give attention to my words;
Incline your ear to my sayings.
Do not let them depart from your eyes;
Keep them in the midst of your heart;
For they are life to those who find them,
And health to all their flesh.
Keep your heart with all diligence,
For out of it spring the issues of life.
Put away from you a deceitful mouth,
And put perverse lips far from you.
Let your eyes look straight ahead,
And your eyelids look right before you.
Ponder the path of your feet,
And let all your ways be established.
Do not turn to the right or the left;
Remove your foot from evil.” Proverbs 4:20-27

Jesus taught these same truths in the Parable of the Sower. (Mark 4:1-34)

THE ARMOR AND CORRESPONDING ACTION
“Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light ... put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.” (Romans 13:12-14)

“STAND THEREFORE ...”

Gird your Waist with the Belt of Truth
Oh, the divine purity of truth that we carry within us!
This is enforcement/power that strengthens the upper armor and the lower armor so we can stand upright and strong. It is like an inner core pillar of support that produces zeal, endurance — energy extracted from truth that is written in the Word. "The words that I speak to you are Spirit and they are life." (John 6:63)

Praying in tongues often also provides strength to the inner man.
“Be strong in the LORD and in the power of His might.” (Ephesians 6:10)

Put on the Breastplate of Righteousness
Jesus paid a debt he did not owe, because we owed a debt we could not pay. “For he has made him, who knew no sin, to be sin for us; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” (2 Corinthians 5:21)

Your Salvation Package has righteousness in it. Act like it! Subdue the flesh.
Cast down accusing thoughts and condemnation.

Having Shod your Feet
Your assignment is your daily walk in Jesus for the spreading of the Gospel of peace. This piece of armor is God reinforcing your daily ability to perform His will as an Ambassador for Christ.

Above All, Take the Shield of Faith
The shield will extinguish every incoming dart of the enemy: any cleverly disguised or openly blatant lie, all falsification or perversion of God’s written truth. One preacher likes to use this example against the lie: “Just say, ‘NO, I SLAP YOU DOWN!!!’”

The more we are transformed by the renewing of our mind to the Holy Scriptures, as a living epistle of Christ, the more power is transmitted to God’s shield of faith. It is the power of authority to block, defeat, and destroy the lies of the enemy. Faith is God’s unseen substance given to us in our Salvation Package. “And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.” (1 John 5:4)

God’s Faith Shield works hand in hand with another weapon ...

Take the Helmet of Salvation
Your Salvation Package was bought with blood! Remember who you are and what you have been given. You are a citizen of heaven! Guard your thoughts by taking each one captive to obey scripture. Read 2 Corinthians 10:3-5.
See our resource Who I Am in Christ Scriptures

The Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God
Holy Spirit and your spirit are united as one!
Therefore, SPEAK!

Say to the mountain—be plucked up and thrown into the sea and expect (faith) that it will be done for you! It’s not YOUR job to move the mountain. That’s God’s business. Your part is to speak and believe.

You must know and believe the scriptures given to us for authority: Luke 10:19, Matthew 16:17-19, Mark 16:15-20, Acts 1:8, Luke 4:1-14, 2 Corinthians 10:3-6,  and Joshua 1:3-9, Jeremiah 1:9-10, Isaiah 51:16. This is our badge of delegated authority in the earth that the gates of hell cannot prevail against. (Matthew 16:18)

You will notice there are six pieces to the armor.
In scripture we often find that seven is the number of perfection.
What is the last piece of armor?

PRAYER ...
THE SECRET PLACE OF THE MOST HIGH

It’s a strong tower. The righteous run into it and they are safe! (Psalm 61:3)

When you spend time with your Father in study, worship, and prayer every morning, you are receiving His presence filled with grace, love, and peace. Things come into order. His anointing of favor comes upon you and can go ahead of you to bless your day.

God’s Sword of the Spirit works with PRAYER to help fulfill every Believer’s call/assignment on earth! Do we really think we can transfer God’s will from the unseen realm to the seen realm without prayer?

Not every Believer is called to the “ministry of prayer,” but every Believer, every leader, must make prayer/fellowship time with God the Father a priority. All ministry results come forth from quality time with Him and praying in tongues led by the Holy Spirit.

And corporate prayer with faith-filled Believers can manifest great power to bring about great changes.

Intercessors take advantage of conference calls and on-line meetings:

GOD IS LOVE
PERFECT LOVE CASTS OUT FEAR!

Make sure you don’t have fear in your prayers.

Faith works through love and so does everything else in God’s Kingdom.
Walk in Him, walk in love. Forgive! Do good to those who despitefully use you. Repay no one evil for evil. Do not be overcome with evil, but overcome evil with good.

2017
Our nation is going through a process. We’re headed somewhere. Don’t be alarmed. Almighty God is with us! Put on God’s armor. Put on God’s love. They will know us by our love.

“And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” (Matthew 24:12-14)

SUGGESTED ASSIGNMENT
Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.
This teaching will bless you and keep you from falling into a ditch ... if you act on it!

Dear People of Prayer,
We are a group of people called out to work with God’s Spirit to bring about the transfer of His will from the unseen realm to the seen realm. This is called answered prayer, but answered prayer has an enemy...

IDENTIFYING: UNIDENTIFIED FEAR
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7)

Fear hides....for it is in itself fearful.
Fear tolerated is faith contaminated!

Fear is a spirit that has a partner, the thief. “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.” (John 10:10)

Jesus Christ has come to give us life — Christ has redeemed us from the kingdom of darkness. Therefore, if you are troubled by fear, fear is trespassing on God’s blood-bought property and has no legal right to operate in the life of a Christian. “For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, 'Abba, Father.'” (Romans 8:15) Use your “sword of the Spirit” which is the Word of God against fear!

LEARNING FROM THE PAST
The children of Israel were set free from the bondage of slavery in Egypt by the mighty power of God. As they traveled through the wilderness, God repeatedly demonstrated His might through signs and wonders. Yet, when Moses was getting ready to lead the nation to take the promised land of Canaan, ten leaders, filled with unbelief, transferred their unbelief and spirit of fear to three million people saying, "... it is a land that devours its inhabitants..." Consumed by fearful thoughts, the people cried and wept all night long. Why? Because they forgot God was with them and believed a lie instead. Not even the faith of Caleb and Joshua could convince them otherwise.

Believing Lies
No faith — no hope.
That certainly produced the fruit of uncontrolled paranoia as emotions ran amuck! We have seen some of this same thing, believing lies, exhibited in our own nation after the Election in November, haven’t we?

The Root of Fear
This is part of the Adamic nature of the first Adam — a nature we were all born with but which is defeated by the nature of the last Adam, Jesus Christ, who abides within us.

Consider the first words of Adam after his transgression. “Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, ‘Where are you?’ So he said, ‘I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.’” (Genesis 3:9-10)

Adam’s sin opened the door to the spirit of fear and contaminated his seed and all his offspring to come.

The Root of Faith — Jesus Christ!
Grace and faith are gifts from God, not of works lest any man boast! (Ephesians 2:8-9) Jesus said, “Have faith in God.” Greek scholars translate this verse as “Have the God kind of faith.” (Mark 11:22)

This is faith that speaks and mountains move!

Without this “developed” faith, we will not accomplish the greater works and establish His Kingdom goodness throughout the earth. The nations need to see demonstrations, signs, wonders, and miracles because it is the true reality of God where nothing is impossible if you believe!

BELIEVING GOD — IT’S A CHOICE
When Jesus began His ministry at thirty years of age, He was sent into the wilderness. At the end of forty days of fasting, His enemy came to tempt Him. With each temptation, Jesus triumphed over fear by using scripture. Jesus knew His Father was faithful as He trusted God for His life, His assignment on earth, and what God said about Him, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” (Matthew 3:17)

What was the result of this? Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit! (Luke 4:14)
“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.” (1 John 4:18)

Disciples:
Discipline is Required!

In dealing with our assignments to pray, sometimes longtime issues can throw an intercessor into a “prayer rut,” repeating the same prayers over and over again, that can potentially become ineffective, without life (faith) in them; or perhaps unknowingly, those prayers are filled with complaint and anxiety (fear).

If you haven’t established a routine of guarding your thoughts and taking them captive to the Word of God daily (2 Corinthians 10:3-5), most likely you have fear that you do not recognize as fear. Remember, fear tends to hide because it doesn’t want to be cast out.

Life-less prayers can be corrected by praying much in tongues, led by the Holy Spirit. (Romans 8:26)

Disciples must be doers of the word. (James 1:22) That means when you read scripture and it tells you to do something, you put it into practice ... every day, every month, year after year, decade after decade. This is walking in the Spirit, which is walking in faith.

But you will have to control something that is located just under your nose!

The Power of Words
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit.” (Proverbs 18:21)

Fear (death) can build mountains of unbelief.
How? By the words of your mouth.

That’s why it is not good for you to rehearse your problems over and over, every time you’re with friends. Month after month you’re building something that you don’t want.

“Indeed, we put bits in horses’ mouths that they may obey us, and we turn their whole body. Look also at ships: although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot desires. Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things. See how great a forest a little fire kindles!”
(James 3:3-5)

“The good man from his inner good treasure
flings forth good things,
and the evil man out of his inner evil storehouse
flings forth evil things.
But I tell you,
on the day of judgment
men will have to give account
for every idle
(inoperative, nonworking) word they speak.
For by your words
you will be justified and acquitted,
and by your words
you will be condemned and sentenced.”
(Matthew 12:35-37 AMP)

So, we see from Jesus’ teaching that our words are building things.

Unbelief is one of the tentacles of fear. Words of unbelief can leave a hole in a Christian’s wall of protection. Unbelief and doubt resist and oppose God’s written Word to stand against faith to block manifestations of the Kingdom of God where “nothing is impossible” to him who believes.

God has quite a bit to say on the subject of fear. Did you know there are over three hundred scriptures on fear in the Bible?

Fear is the Opposite of Faith
Fear is actually a spiritual force. It is faith in something you do not want to happen.
All fear is rooted in the fear of death ... which Jesus has already delivered us from.
Read and know Hebrews 2:14-16.

If you have fear operating in your life it will affect answered prayer.

THE NINE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT
They are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. (Galatians 5:22-23)

These are spiritual forces located in the heart of the born again Believer.
They help us to live a sanctified and victorious life.

Notice, anxiety, worry, apprehension, concern, dread, foreboding, uneasiness, distress, frustration, tension, anguish, or fretfulness cannot be found in the fruit of the spirit because they are manifestations of fear. If these are manifesting in your life they will affect your prayer ministry.

“Okay, I see that. What can I do?”
Follow the instructions of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:4-9.

THE DAY THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING
When you and I received Jesus as our Lord and Savior, the biggest miracle of all miracles took place. We went from death to life eternal!

God entered into our being and we became His holy habitation. That new man, when fully developed, has the potential to do great things, just like Jesus ... and even greater now as His Body is maturing and awakening to our inheritance in Him.

Think of it — Jesus was not the only man who walked on water.
Peter also walked on water. “Yeah, but that’s because Jesus was right there.”

No, that is not correct.
If Peter was walking on Jesus’ faith, he would not have fallen into the water when he saw the wind and the waves roaring around him. “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” (Matthew 14:31)

Fear caused Peter to sink!

Religious Tradition and Control
Fear is sneaky, hiding in different costumes. The Pharisees and Sadducees were religious leaders who were dominated by fear and led many people into the bondage of fear.

An old saying is "prayer is often caught rather than taught."
Ineffective prayer can also be caught, having no biblical foundation. Guard what you allow to come into your ears!

Listen for direction from the Holy Spirit in your inner man.

FEAR
AND UNANSWERED PRAYER

Sometimes fear is hiding beneath a cloak of weariness where you become disillusioned.

Example: Perhaps you have been standing on God’s Word, speaking to the mountain (problem) a long time. As we have already said, this may cause you to get into a prayer rut that causes you to fret and wonder if change will ever take place. If faith begins to dwindle so will your prayers. Empty prayers produce zero results!

These are patterns of behavior that the Holy Spirit uncovers to help us all learn and grow.

Putting God First Place in Your Life
Once fear is uncovered, correction is easy. Repent. Double-up on your Bible Study time. Listen to anointed teachings on faith often. (Don’t ever have your fellowship time with your cell phone next to you. Interruptions will steal your ability to receive faith.)

Suggested Assignment
How can you identify fear?

Ask the Holy Spirit to show you any areas that you have a hidden fear.
Example: “The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe.” (Proverbs 29:25)
Ask your Helper to identify anything hindering answered prayer.

Some other things that influence answered prayer:
Be aware of what you are continually thinking about. Remember: 2 Corinthians 10:3-5.

What are you always talking or whining about to God or others?
Are you complaining? Are you making your mountain bigger? (Ephesians 4:29-32)
Replace negative attitudes with a scripture promise. Meditate on that word. (Joshua 1:8)

Are you unevenly yoked with an unbeliever? (2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1)

Put on God’s armor and fight the good fight of faith. Speak to the mountain. Believe what you SAY will be done for you. (Mark 11:23) Faith works through love. Forgive quickly.
Perfected love casts out all fear!
Sing! See Power Praise

Maintain a Victorious Life Free From Fear
“But you, beloved,
building yourselves up
on your most holy faith,
praying in the Holy Spirit,
keep yourselves in the love of God,
looking for the mercy
of our Lord Jesus Christ
unto eternal life.” (Jude 20)
