Dear Saints Who are called to Prayer,
It’s December 30, 2016, and I believe I have received a teaching/direction from the LORD about where The Church is going in 2017. If you have not read the previous lesson, please do so before continuing. Just scroll down.

1.   2017 — THE END DAYS CHURCH:
Transformation of The Church ... to The Glorious Church!

You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation.
(2 Peter 2:9)

When God begins to move...
We've seen it in the election and we're about to see His power be turned up  in His  Church.

First things first...
Transformation of the corporate Church is taking place by Jesus Christ washing each member of His Body with the holy anointed Word of God. It is called sanctification and it removes spots, wrinkles, and blemishes. (Ephesians 5:25-27)

Why?
That Jesus “might present her to Himself” ... holy!

Of course, those who are not spending time in God’s Word continually will remain unwashed and be subject to further discipline. (Hebrews 12:5-11)
It is better to submit and obey! Humility is a requirement for maturity ... and power!

Those who are being led by the Holy Spirit and who are in subjection to His good will are going to enter into glorious times ... this year!

Imagine this ...
A vast multitude of scriptures becoming LIVE to a multitude of Believers.
“The words that I speak to you are spirit and they are life.” (John 6:63)

We have all experienced this in times past. It’s when the Holy Spirit “sits” on a passage or a song and it is quickened to your inner man. There’s an infusion of light that bursts forth within the new-creation man. The Word becomes light, life, and love in you. It’s called the glory of God.

Remember when the skin of Moses' face shone with the glory of God? (Exodus 34:29-30)

Definition of Infuse: to breathe into; to instill; inspire; penetrate; pour into; introduce; implant

Imagine multitudes of Believers becoming “lit” with the glory of God every morning as they study God’s Word.... See 2 Corinthians 4:6-7.

When Solomon dedicated the Temple, the glory of God came in and filled the house.
The Church, each dedicated member of Christ’s Body, is about to be filled with the glory of God, for we are His living Temple!

2.   2017 — GOD HAS AN ARMY MARCHING THROUGH THE LAND
It is absolutely necessary that we know who we are, what we have been given, what Jesus Christ has redeemed us from, and the authority we have been given. This knowledge is the foundation of our individual callings and what the corporate Body is called to do before the LORD’S return.

“But I just don’t understand why it’s so important to read and speak the Who I Am in Christ Scriptures all the time?”

Because you have been told lies about who you really are!

Religious Tradition
Believing those lies infected The Church! It caused many in The Church to see themselves how the world views them: impotent, unbalanced, insignificant, puny, and unimportant.

It is sad to think that many teachers and Pastors are stuck in unbelief about who and what The Church has been given because they don’t know the scriptures.

The Fearless
Think about ordinary men that became valiant and courageous in battle, defeating whole armies: Abraham and his 318 servants who defeated the armies of four kings; Moses, Joshua, Gideon, King David, and so on; all enforced God’s will to defeat the enemy!

The Valiant: those who are called and strive to obtain the Kingdom of God and its privileges with the utmost eagerness and effort

Equipped with Faith in God
“...who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,  quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens...” (Hebrews 11:32-33) See the Overcomer Scriptures.

The Mightiest of Conquerors
And, let us not forget our Champion, Jesus Christ, for it is He who took the keys of Hades and Death from the enemy and “disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.” (Colossians 2:15)

It is He who has made us alive together with Himself and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Him...far above all principalities and powers and might and dominion... (See Ephesians 1:21 & 2:5-6)

Oh, that The Church would know and experience the exceeding greatness of His power! (Ephesians 1:19) It’s time now for that prayer by the Apostle Paul to be answered and experienced throughout The Church!

“...be transformed by the renewing of your mind...” (Romans 12:2)
It’s the only way to do the perfect will of God. “For as he thinketh within himself, so is he ...” (Proverbs 23:7)
See the Who I Am in Christ Scriptures.

3.   2017 — RECEIVE AND ACT ON THE LIVING WORD
Below are powerful scriptures to meditate on.

“Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me:
‘Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.
See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms,
To root out and to pull down,
To destroy and to throw down,
To build and to plant.’” (Jeremiah 1:9-10)

“And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 16:18-19)

“For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.” (Mark 11:23)

“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” (Joshua 1:8)

4.   2017 — THE GLORIOUS CHURCH
“Blessed be the God
and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who has blessed us
with every spiritual blessing
in the heavenly places in Christ,
just as He chose us
in Him
before the foundation of the world,
that we should be holy
and without blame
before Him in love,
having predestined us
to adoption as sons
by Jesus Christ to Himself,
according to the good pleasure of His will,
to the praise of the glory of His grace,
by which He made us
accepted in the Beloved.” (Ephesians 1:3)

Therefore go...
“Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the middle of wolves: be you therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.” (Matthew 10:16)

“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)

It’s time for the Glorious Church to answer the hunger that is on this planet!

5.   2017 — SAVING THE LOST
They are without God in the world, having no hope, (Ephesians 2:12) just like we were before Christ.

Love never fails!
Sometimes hurting people hurt people.

Instead of rejecting or retaliating against those who persecute us unfairly — embrace them with divine love — HIS ABILITY TO LOVE — especially through forgiveness and prayer, for in this manner we please the Father of Grace who gave His Son as a divine offering for those (the world) who abused Him and rejected Him.

His assignment to please His Father was always first place in His heart and in His mind. He came to do the will of God and to save suffering humanity from the ravages of sin and death — the curse of the Law.

He came to deliver them from the power of darkness and transfer them into the Kingdom of eternal love. (Colossians 1:13)

Therefore “Do not be overcome with evil, but overcome evil with good.”
Read Romans 12:14-21.

6.   2017 — JESUS' POWER WORKS THROUGH THE CHURCH
Let’s zoom out over the last two thousand years of The Church age and get an overview of what has been happening and what takes place at the end when Almighty God will bring order and restoration to His creation.

“... whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.” (Acts 3:21)

“...blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.” (Romans 11:25)

“Sit at My right hand,
Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.” (Hebrews 1:13)

“... and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe,
according to the working of His mighty power
which He worked in Christ when He raised Him
from the dead and seated Him at His right hand
in the heavenly places, far above
all principality and power and might and dominion,
and every name that is named,
not only in this age but also in that which is to come.
And He put all things under His feet,
and gave Him to be head over all things to the church,
which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.” (Ephesians 1:19-23)

“... till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ ...” (Ephesians 4:13)

7.   2017 — ANGELIC ASSISTANCE
“Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?” (Hebrews 1:14)

“Bless the Lord, you His angels,
Who excel in strength, who do His word,
Heeding the voice of His word.” (Psalm 103:20)

If you pick up your Bible and hold it to your ear, you will not hear any words. But when a born again Believer, who walks by faith in God speaks the Word, angels are sent on assignment to bring God’s Word to pass.

Just remember to guard your mouth from saying any words that would cancel their objective. Never replace faith with fear by thinking it’s not working.

Give the angels time to do their work. Fight the good fight of faith to see results!

The power of ONE angel!
“And it came to pass on a certain night that the angel of the Lord went out, and killed in the camp of the Assyrians one hundred and eighty-five thousand; and when people arose early in the morning, there were the corpses—all dead.” (2 Kings 19:35)

So, what can we expect in 2017?

CONFLICT – The Spiritual War
All inhabitants of earth deal with this, knowingly or unknowingly — directly or indirectly. Why? Because of Adam and Eve’s transgression in the Garden of Eden when they gave over their dominion of earth to the enemy of God. (Genesis 3:1-6)

All of humanity deals with the result, it’s called “the curse” — the transfer of dominion to an outlaw!

All are — Affected
Some are — Infected
Overcomers — Reject it

THE GIFT
Over thousands of years the prophets of the Old Testament prophesied of the coming of the Savior–the Messiah, the Seed of Abraham. The Deliverer would redeem man from the curse and restore The Blessing. (Deuteronomy 28:1-14)

The Savior has come!

God gives man the choice to hear the Gospel, repent, and accept His only plan for salvation: Jesus Christ. This Blessing of Restoration would come upon and into Believers as God wrote His Law into their hearts. (Hebrews 8:6-13)

“Okay, how come I’m not experiencing this blessing?”

To keep this explanation simple, the curse has not yet been removed from the earth.
That’s the reason why bad things happen to good people.

God has redeemed man from the curse only as man chooses God’s redemption plan. Those who are born again have been given an inheritance as heirs of God and joint heirs with Jesus Christ. (Romans 8:17)

This includes restoration of God’s original plan for man after the fall:
The Blessing… dominion over the curse (destruction) through the power of the Holy Spirit and the Anointed Word of God that is written in your Bible. (Genesis 1:26-28) But any promise which is written has to be spoken ... acted upon through faith.

The Blessing has dominion over the curse. (Galatians 3:14)

When the written Word is preached through a faith-filled Believer, that Word becomes infused with life. (John 6:63) When the hearer receives it in their heart, faith is resident to destroy yokes and bondages but faith requires corresponding action. (James 2:26)

Taking Your Dominion Rights
The thief comes to steal the Word from God’s child to remove their dominion, their armor to fight. Their God-given right to dominate is weakened.

Here’s what we know:
We are in a war.
We are to fight, use our dominion by using God’s armor and His weapons, both privately for ourselves and family, and corporately, as The Church has a mandate to establish God’s will on earth as it is done in Heaven. (Matthew 6:10) We can see a picture of this assignment when Joshua led the Israelites into the Promised Land of Canaan to take the land for His people. (Joshua 1:6)

TAKING THE LAND
PREACHING THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM

“For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.” (Romans 5:17)
Can you see we can do nothing without Him? We reign through Him!

DISCIPLESHIP
We cannot accomplish our assignment on earth through fleshly, carnal ways.

  • Baby Christians
  • Lazy Christians
  • Scripturally Illiterate Christians
  • Disobedient Christians

Those who are born again are still in the world but not of the world. (John 17:16)
Those who only read their Bible at church on Sunday, and play around with the world and its ways of thinking and living all week, open themselves up to be a target. These same Christians, year after year, live lives of defeat, always depending on other Believers to meet their needs.

Why? Little Word ... little faith.

It’s one thing to feed a baby their food and change their diapers as they are growing up, but a 40 year-old soldier still wearing a diaper is not pleasing to the LORD!

“You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier.” (2 Timothy 2:3-4)

PAYING THE PRICE
There’s a price to pay for being a disciple of Jesus Christ.
It’s called — doing God’s will above what you want to do.
It’s called — hear and obey.
It’s called —  moving from only hearing teachings about sin and having faith in God (Hebrews 6:1) to maturity … to actually doing the greater works that Jesus wants The Glorious Church to move into now.

It’s time for the baby pacifier to be removed from The Church and for The Church to eat the meat of the Word and be “skilled in the word of righteousness!” Read Hebrews 5:12 – 6:3.

Whoever heard of soldiers at boot camp being fed baby food, day after day?

No, dear Saints, it’s up to us to make time to sit with our Father, open the Word of Life, and study for ourselves instead of depending on our Pastors to do all the studying for us. If we all study every day, when we assemble together it will make it easier on our Pastors to teach what the Holy Spirit is saying to The Church. Personal study opens our ears to hear the Word? Why? We’re fertile ground!

YOUR EXPECTATION IS GOD’S INVITATION
Do you know that your Pastor can only go as far as his Church receives?

You can help your Pastor by being attentive to what he is teaching and by pulling in the spirit. That means, on occasion, you’re saying on the inside, “Lord, I receive that,” or “Yes, LORD.” Your Pastor can feel when a congregation is in agreement or when they are resisting a teaching.

PREACHING THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM

YES ... ENGAGEMENT IS NECESSARY!
The LORD has given us specific instructions in how to overcome. THE BALL IS IN OUR COURT!

1.   “And He said to them, ‘I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” (Luke 10:18-19)

(Just think of Joshua leading the army to take Jericho; think of young David striking the head of the nation’s enemy and then cutting off his head; think of Gideon asking, “Where are all the miracles our fathers told us about?” and then how he led his army of 300 to a valiant victory! When these men pursued to do the will of God, God empowered them to defeat their enemy, without any harm to them!)

2.   “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ…” (2 Corinthians 10:3-5) Any thoughts contrary to the Word of God ... SLAP THEM DOWN!

3.   “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

4.   “Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth,
having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
above all, taking the shield of faith
with which you will be able
to quench all the fiery darts
of the wicked one.
And take the helmet of salvation,
and the sword of the Spirit,
which is the word of God;
praying always with all prayer
and supplication in the Spirit,
being watchful to this end
with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints--
and for me, that utterance may be given to me,
that I may open my mouth boldly
to make known the mystery of the gospel …” (Ephesians 6:10-19)

DO YOU NOT KNOW WHO YOU ARE?

DO YOU NOT KNOW THAT IF YOU DON’T EAT OF THE BREAD OF HEAVEN YOU WILL NOT HAVE GOD’S ARMOR?

DO YOU NOT KNOW WHAT HAS BEEN GIVEN TO YOU?

DO YOU NOT KNOW ALL THAT JESUS CHRIST DIED TO GIVE YOU?

“Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree’), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” (Galatians 3:13-14)

Although mankind is redeemed from the curse, if he doesn’t know it or if he refuses to believe it and be saved, he is living outside of God’s will, without eternal life.

This is why the gospel of the Kingdom must be preached in all nations.
(Matthew 24:14)

Picture
All of God’s armor is a spiritual force that is made manifest by having the Word deposited in your spirit man.

  • Since faith is an act, the shield of faith needs the (spoken) sword of the Spirit to be effective.
  • The helmet works when you take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.
  • The breastplate of righteousness guards your spirit, the new-creation man, when you know and declare often who you are in Christ.
  • This is girding your loins with truth to make you stand firm,
  • while walking to spread the gospel of the Kingdom.

PASSING THE BATON
Every Christian is important to the Body of Christ because we are members of one another. When you are strong in the LORD you affect other members. The opposite is also true.

Every generation of Believers has been important to keep the gospel and The Church moving forward, but The Church of the end days is made up of a generation of Believers who will do the greater works and meet Jesus in the air when He returns.( 1 Thessalonians 4:17)

God has saved the best for last!

CLOSING COMMENTS
So, how important is His call in your life?
First place?
Fifth place?
Last place?
Do you realize that each of us will stand before the LORD and give an account of what we did for His Kingdom?

Which do you want to hear?

“ … Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.” (Matthew 25:21)
 or
“You wicked and lazy servant … cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” (Matthew 25:26 & 30)

We have no excuse for not fulfilling our call. Selah

“Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.” (Matthew 25:13)

“How can I walk in the Spirit? How can little me do the greater works?”

THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THE WALK OF FAITH
Jesus spoke of His faith in God often. “It’s the Father in Me, He does the works.”
He was totally surrendered to do the will of His Father.
(John 6:38)

And, He knew His identity as the Son of God.

Yet even Jesus had to deal with His flesh, His own will, when He was facing the awful and dreadful time of His crucifixion. (Mark 14:35-36, Hebrews 5:7-9) Our Savior knows about all of our weaknesses and is always ready to give “grace and mercy to help in time of need.”

The disobedient are ignorant of the born again life available in Jesus Christ. That is why we pray for them continually.

Separation from the world is needed so that we can minister to the world with the power of the gospel. Your heart, the New Creation Man, has its identity rooted in another system. This is in sharp contrast to what the world is progressing toward. Jesus always sought the Kingdom by looking inward…inward! Supernatural breakthroughs necessary for healing and deliverance come from a more powerful realm where “nothing is impossible” and where all provision for life is resident…in the Spirit.

Jesus was highly developed in His faith in God.
Even at the age of twelve, He was found studying in the Temple being “about His Father’s business.”

He lived His life by walking in the Spirit. How?

He never did anything without first seeing His Father’s will. He never said anything He didn’t hear from His Father first. (John 5:19, 7:16, 8:26, 12:49, 14:10)

FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD — THE HOLY SPIRIT
FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD — THE WORD

God knows your heart; after all, He lives in you!

God knows when you are seeking Him first, and He knows when other things are beginning to enter in and distract your heart. He is Jealous for your attention and knows how the enemy uses distractions to steal the word out of your heart so you will become powerless. Distract, deceive, and displace to possess. It’s what happened to Adam and Eve in the garden.

That same enemy is still around but should not have any rulership over God’s child unless the love for God is growing cold. The Apostle James spoke sternly to Believers who were going in the wrong direction.

“Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, ‘The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously’?

“But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: ‘God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.’ Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” (James 4:4-8)

HUMILITY IS REQUIRED
“I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.” (John 5:30)

This is the answer to the two questions at the top of our lesson.

Jesus gave us the example to follow. Continual fellowship and total dependence on the Father is how we walk in the Holy Spirit and how we will do the greater works.

We were appointed and anointed to serve God on earth during this sliver of time.

It is a perilous and chaotic time because the world system does not want to depend upon God and Jesus Christ for anything. The world cannot solve all their problems. They need the wisdom of God, the Holy Scriptures, and the power of the Holy Spirit!

They need The Glorious Church … the Kingdom, the wisdom, and the resources of God!

Earth: 2016 and 2017 — THE INVERTED TRIANGLE
“You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.

“All these are the beginning of birth pains.”
(Matthew 24:6-8 NIV)

When a child is getting ready to be born, it is being sent downward from a large and comfortable place, into the birth canal where it is being pressed into and through a narrow place. Pressure is providing movement. Neither mother nor child is controlling this. Time is in control but ultimately it is God the Creator, Who has a purpose.

I see this event like an inverted triangle. The closer the child gets to its grand entrance into a new world of existence, the tighter and more pressed the situation becomes.

What is life going to be like for The Glorious Church as we get closer to our meeting Jesus in the air? (1 Thessalonians 4:15-18)

The gospels and the epistles reveal that earth is in for more turbulent times. Fear and worries should not be allowed to consume Believers. Just as there was light in Goshen for the children of Israel who were getting ready to depart their homes in Egypt to go into the Promised Land, we have nothing to fear or worry about. NOTHING!

Why?

God is with us and it is He who determines times and seasons on earth. (Acts 17:26) Times will be good for The Church but distress upon the nations. Old and New Testament scriptures revealed the future long before we were born.

We were called to live in these last days by our Father. His purpose for the last generation is spectacular! Let’s remember who we are, where we are from, and Who we belong to.

“So teach us to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” (Psalm 89:12)

Our job is to occupy by prayer and by “boots on the ground,” spreading the gospel of the Kingdom and making disciples. We are citizens and Ambassadors of the Kingdom of God and our Commander in Chief is LORD of the armies of Heaven!

THE HARVEST
During this End Days Harvest all the seeds (prayers and preaching) that have been planted for the gospel in the last two thousand years will mature. They will need to be harvested. For a farmer, harvest time is a lot of work.

But when all of God’s Spirit-filled Believers seek to fulfill their individual assignments every day, the work will be easier and less stressful on the whole Body.

Turbulent Times?
Remember we are in a war, but our enemies are not flesh and blood.
Are you being distracted and pulled away from spending time in the Word?
Remember, the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God.
Be strong in the LORD and in the power of His might. Keep God’s armor on.

Do you remember how Nehemiah and the Jews built the wall around Jerusalem in just 52 days?

“Those who built on the wall, and those who carried burdens, loaded themselves so that with one hand they worked at construction, and with the other held a weapon.” (Nehemiah 4:17)

Be watchful and pray for those Believers who you fellowship with. (Ephesians 6:18)

“And this is His commandment:
that we should believe
on the name
of His Son Jesus Christ
and love one another,
as He gave us commandment.” (1 John 3:23)

Suggested Assignment
Doug Jones was the guest teacher at Keith Moore’s church in Branson recently and gave an excellent lesson on how to hear and be led by the Holy Spirit. How important is that?

“ASK THE LORD FOR RAIN IN THE TIME OF THE LATTER RAIN.” Zechariah 10:1

“Truth shall spring out of the earth,
And righteousness shall look down from heaven.
Yes, the Lord will give what is good;
And our land will yield its increase.
Righteousness will go before Him,
And shall make His footsteps our pathway.” (Psalm 85:11-13)

Dear Saints,
If you have not read the vision that I had on October 20th please scroll down to the previous lesson, November 1st. You will find it at the end.

NOVEMBER 8, 2016
“The day the rains came!” Selah

God has answered our prayers for the election.
This is VERY marvelous in our eyes! But just as the President-elect has an enormous task ahead of him in restoring order to our government, The Glorious Church is required to continue to be fervent in prayer. Continue to hold him and his team up in daily prayer as they begin making important decisions. More information at Current Events.

“Wisdom is the principal thing;
Therefore, get wisdom and in all your getting,
get understanding.”
Proverbs 4:7

WHAT NOW LORD? “FEAR NOT!”
As we are witnessing the power of God’s hand and His mercy on our nation to restore order, the call is going forth to each individual in Christ’s Body to fulfill their assignment. It is not a time to back down and take a vacation from prayer, and certainly not a time to be fearful.

MOSES
Moses had a huge assignment didn’t he?
He was to lead three million people out of Egypt into the desert, into an unknown land. As they approached the land of Canaan, leaders of each tribe were sent to spy out the land God was giving them. When they SAW the giants, fear swept over them; that is, except two leaders who remembered that God was with them.

Sadly, the ten unbelieving leaders managed to sway the nation that they could not take the land like God said.

Yeah, but what about God’s will?
God could not take them into the land because of their fear and unbelief. Their own fear-filled words would have produced their destruction. (See Numbers 13:27-33 – Hebrews 3:7-19)

God is sovereign and almighty. In His sovereignty, He gave man dominion over the earth and told him to multiply and subdue it. (Genesis 1:26 & 28)

God works through His people to accomplish His will.

As we know, the people who complained against the LORD would die in the wilderness. Joshua would ultimately lead the next generation, those who lived by faith in God, to accomplish what their fathers were afraid to do.

So we see God’s plan was put on hold waiting for that next generation.

THE END DAYS GENERATION:
When time runs out …

It is obvious to me that The Church on earth in 2016 is the generation that will meet our Savior in the air when the last trumpet is blown. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 and 1 Corinthians 15:52)

Jesus did not leave us without clues about the end days. His clues are written in the gospels. He doesn’t want us ignorant about these things. He said we are to look at the fig tree, Israel, and the other nations. He also gave us many other signs to look for.

He said in one generation we would see ALL these things take place.
Read Matthew Chapter 24 & 25.

Times of Separation
Much of what we see happening in the nations around us was prophesied by the LORD in His teaching on The Parable of the Tares and the Wheat. This reveals how the angels are in charge of removing those things that “offend and practice lawlessness” from His kingdom. (Matthew 13:41) Tuesday Bible Lesson on September 20, 2016 and October 4, 2016 reveal more about this interesting subject.

Much of what was written in the gospels is pointing toward our day. The nations will begin to see the fulfillment of these prophecies in the days and months ahead.

What can we do?
Occupy!

THE HOLY SPIRIT: THE REVEALER
The Head of The Glorious Church, Jesus Christ, has given to each of us His Spirit.
In other words, the General of the Army is resident within each soldier!

He will keep us safe and help us to complete our assignments as Ambassadors for Christ. And He is washing us with the Word to be presented to Jesus — holy, without spot, wrinkle, or blemish.  (Ephesians 5:27)

Holy Spirit is the one who has had our generation in training for the time we have just entered into. “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.” (John 16:13)

When Jesus, our Beloved, turned thirty years of age, He was baptized in water and by God’s Spirit as He came up out of the water. (Matthew 3:16) He did no mighty works until the Holy Spirit came upon Him.

And He said, “I do not speak on my own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.” (John 14:10)

“…how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” (Acts 10:38)

Jesus was under authority to have authority.
You and I submit to His authority so that we have authority to accomplish His will.
“Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” (Luke 10:19)

THE CALL:
DO THE GREATER WORKS! John 14:12
How can you and I be led by His Spirit to do the greater works if we don’t know the sound of His voice?  And how can we know His voice if we don’t study and read the Word of God? How can He remind us of what Jesus said if we don’t know what is written? (John 14:26)

We cannot let the Word of God slip from our lives in our busy days.
The enemy comes to try to distract, deceive, and displace to possess.
We are in a war. Be wise!

THE ARMY OF THE LORD
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” (Ephesians 6:10-11)

Can you imagine sending soldiers out to fight a war with no training, no direction, no armor and no ammunition? For one thing, they would be scared … to death!

That’s precisely why God could not allow the Moses generation to go in and take the land.

Engagement is Necessary
Use Your Weapons

D-Day World War II:
Allies invade Western Europe in the largest amphibious attack in history. A multitude of destroyers at sea bombarded the land as soldiers stormed the beaches of Normandy in a massive coordinated effort to take the land and defeat the advancement of the enemy.

General Eisenhower said, “We will accept nothing less than full victory!”

Picture
Now imagine groups of soldiers refusing to go and get in the fight. This could certainly put other lives at risk.

When some Christians, who are spiritually joined together with other Believers, don’t engage in the battle, it may hinder another Believer’s ability to complete their assignment, for we are all members of one another. If someone’s arm is disabled, does it not hinder the rest of the body?

FAITH IN HIS NAME

Now imagine a Body of Believers, sober, vigilant, taking our authority over the enemy, watching over one another, casting out devils, healing the sick, taking the Kingdom of God by force!

What if Jesus was running every church?

What if every Pastor would boldly teach his troops in warfare training declaring, “We will accept nothing less than full victory!”

“… you are no longer strangers and foreigners,
but fellow citizens with the saints
and members of the household of God,
having been built on the foundation
of the apostles and prophets,
Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone,
in whom the whole building,
being fitted together,
grows into a holy temple in the Lord,
in whom you also are being built together
for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.”
Ephesians 2:19-22

“… speaking the truth in love,
may grow up in all things into Him who is the head--Christ--
from whom the whole body,
joined and knit together by what every joint supplies,
according to the effective working
by which every part does its share,
causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.” Ephesians 4:15-16

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God
for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments
and every high thing that exalts itself
against the knowledge of God,

bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ …”
(2 Corinthians 10:3-5)

The Word Became Flesh
When Jesus was in the desert for forty days, He did not fight against flesh and blood but an enemy that is unseen. Jesus engaged in warfare and showed us how to overcome. He had to use the sword of the Spirit, God’s Word, against His enemy, not once, but three times. (Luke 4:1-13)

Being led of God’s Spirit and fighting the good fight of faith is necessary for the End Days generation.

Nehemiah, who led in the rebuilding of the wall around Jerusalem in just 52 days, said this of the workers: “… with one hand they worked at construction, and with the other held a weapon.” (Nehemiah 4:17)

OUR BLOOD COVENANT RIGHTS
“No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment
You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
And their righteousness is from Me,”
‘Says the Lord.’ (Isaiah 54:17)

Suggested Assignment
Soldiers in the Army of the LORD need to be strong and healthy.

If you need healing, Kenneth Copeland gave an excellent anointed teaching, line upon line, about our right to live long and be healthy all our days. You have blood-bought rights to be healthy. There is prayer for the sick at the end of the teaching.

Brother Copeland's teaching on the authority and power in the name of the LORD is outstanding. At the end he reveals how to pray for our President-elect. This is one you won't want to miss!

Need strength?
Pray more in tongues. (Jude 20-21)
Meditate on Ephesians 3:14-21.

Power Praise has a recording of the blowing of the Shofar. Let’s all let that sound into the air every day over our cities. Pray in tongues while you’re listening, it's awesome!

American Embassy
Panama
__________________________________________________________

Did you know that you are an Ambassador?

“Yes, I’m an Ambassador for Christ!”

Do you know what being an Ambassador means?

“It means someone of one nation who has been chosen to be a representative to another nation. Right?”   Yes!

Definition of Ambassador: to be a senior, to act as a representative; a diplomat, minister, agent, emissary, consul

“Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ,
as though God were pleading through us:
we implore you on Christ’s behalf,
be reconciled to God.
For He made Him
who knew no sin
to be sin for us,
that we might become
the righteousness of God in Him.”
2 Corinthians 5:20-21

One minister shared this story. He went to Haiti on his first mission trip out of the country. He was so distraught at the sight of enormous poverty: cardboard shacks, people seeking food from the local dump and so on. As he walked through the town he came in view of a large white mansion with a lush manicured landscape that had a large black wrought iron fence around it. He asked his guide. “What is that?”

The guide said, “Oh, that’s the American Embassy.”

You see, the American Embassy had provided the place for their Ambassador to live well and supplied all of his provisions while he fulfilled his assignment to that nation.

Born of God — John 1:13
The New Creation Man has God’s Holy Spirit in his spirit. Why? Because we will always have need of the Helper! Always!

Jesus told His disciples not to be looking here and there for the Kingdom of God, because “the Kingdom of God is within you.” As a citizen of God’s Kingdom, provision, along with legal rights and benefits, have been imparted into your spirit for your life’s journey. All citizens of God’s Kingdom, all Ambassadors, make up the whole and are called the Body of Christ, His Glorious Church.

“Dependent on Him, the whole body--its various parts closely fitting and firmly adhering to one another-- grows by the aid of every contributory link, with power proportioned to the need of each individual part, so as to build itself up in a spirit of love.” (Ephesians 4:16 WNT)

REPRESENTATIVES OF A HOLY NATION
“But you are a chosen generation,
a royal priesthood,
a holy nation,
His own special people,
that you may proclaim the praises of Him
who called you out of darkness
into His marvelous light;
who once were not a people
but are now the people of God,
who had not obtained mercy
but now have obtained mercy. (1 Peter 2:9-10)

When you and I were chosen to be God’s children, an assignment was engrafted into our spirit by the Holy Spirit who came to be our Helper. That means He helps us do the work that the assignment requires. In horticulture engrafted means to insert, as a scion of one tree or plant into another, for propagation.

Do most Believers know what their assignment is?
Can you imagine Jesus coming to earth and not knowing what He was called to do?

Each individual assignment is an important piece in fulfilling the assignment for the Glorious Church that is at work on earth in 2016.

Have you ever had a puzzle that you were not able to complete because a piece was missing? Each Believer is vital to helping The Church move forward to take the land.

Ambassadors are pioneers, striving ahead boldly to accomplish God’s will.

We are a Holy Nation, chosen before the foundation of the world. Our work comes from the inside, where the Kingdom resides, where the mystery of His will is made known to us. (Ephesians 1:9)

Our journey, our race, is a daily walk with Him.

What Does This Kingdom Do?
We do God’s will by touching the world with His love, through our prayers and through the work of our hands. (See Psalm 90:16-17)

Love forgives, love heals, love gives, love turns the other cheek, love manifests light where there is darkness, love speaks words that nourish, love brings forth good things by faith, love stands in the gap with prayer, love desires to do what the Word says, love does not envy, love is not prideful, love manifests Jesus to a hurting world by restoring God’s will.

“There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all… (1 Corinthians 12:4-7) This is what an Ambassador does.

So, what’s your individual calling?
“I don’t really know. I like to help people but I don’t know exactly what my assignment is.”

Well, first of all, prayer is the foundation of any assignment because Jesus said, “My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations ...” (Mark 11:17)

May I suggest that you read/pray the prayer written by the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 1: 17-23 every day for the next three months? Make this yours by personalizing it. God will reveal what His assignment is for you.

Please note: As we get closer to the return of Jesus, there may be assignments that were previously hidden, not revealed in former times, but are to be opened up now, as we get closer to the end.

Many of you are being promoted as God is enlarging “the place of your tent…for expansion!” Isaiah 54:2-3

An Ambassador for Christ
This means you are on assignment to represent another nation: its power, strengths, superiority, knowledge, beliefs, values, endowments, provisions, supplies, sustenance, and morality.

Interpret the word: Christ
The word “Christ” comes from the Greek word Christos which means “anointed.” It is interpreted as Messiah, in Hebrew. To be the Christ, or Messiah, is to be “the anointed one of God.”

Whenever you see the name Jesus Christ in the scriptures, stop and interpret: the Anointed One and His anointing.

This is Who we are to represent as Ambassadors and something powerful is given to His representatives, His anointing!

Not only that, but He has also given us a new identity when we were engrafted in Him.

We are no longer beggars before Him in prayer, or in our worship. We are anointed by the Holy Spirit and invited to come boldly into the throne of grace to find help and mercy in time of need.

But stand guard against the traditions of men which will always seek to pull down our identification in Christ.

“But the anointing which you have received
from Him abides in you,
and you do not need
that anyone teach you;
but as the same anointing
teaches you concerning all things,
and is true, and is not a lie,
and just as it has taught you,
you will abide in Him.”
1 John 2:27

THE TEACHER
When your Pastor is teaching God’s Word, it is the Holy Spirit teaching through Him and it is He that is working inside you to connect you to receiving and understanding the Word of God.

“But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.” 1 John 2:20

CLOSING COMMENTS
Can you imagine deploying troops into a country without telling them what their individual assignments are or what their goal is? Of course not! That would be chaotic and dangerous for them. You can’t win a war unless you have a plan.

Yet, many who are born-again know little of what the Body of Christ has been sent to do or have any knowledge of who they are in Christ after their conversion. They continue, week after week, to attend church services unaware of the great gift of His anointing that has been entrusted to them for service. How can they fulfill an assignment they don’t know they have?

You were called out and chosen to be God’s minister before you were born. (Ephesians 2:10) That means when you wake up every day, wherever your footsteps take you, whoever you speak to, whatever you do, you do all in the name of the LORD, as His Ambassador.

“And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature…
Signs will follow those who believe…cast out demons…speak with new tongues…lay hands on the sick and they will recover.”
Mark 16:15-18

“And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs.”
Mark 16:20

PRAYER WITH PURPOSE
Since so many of us are praying diligently for the upcoming election, I would like to share a vision the LORD gave me while praying and interceding for our great nation on 10-20-16.

I saw the U.S. - as a gigantic land and spiritual mass, being slowly lifted up from the earth. The wicked were angry and extending their arms - trying to grab hold of her - to possess her, to stop her ascent into the air. They could not touch her; they could not grab hold to keep her. They could not stop her ascent when she began to rise. God and His might was lifting her up-higher and higher, and then higher and higher-completely out of their reach!!!

The wicked watched and went into extreme anger and torment as the U.S. went out of their reach. They watched in awe, looking up as the U.S. arose from their grasp, under the power of God. The U.S. will prosper and break out in revival from the west to the east like a flood that NO one can prevent or stop.

On October 31st I saw The Church again, rising up under the power of God. This time I noticed that underneath the land mass there was an enormous multitude of praying people with their arms extended upward, lifting the United States as God was working through them.

Saints, continue to pray for our nation. The best is yet to come!

Praying for:
The Glorious Church
The Lost and Elected Leaders in our state and nation!

"While the earth remains,
seedtime and harvest ... shall not cease."
Genesis 8:22
____________________________________________________________

Did you know you’re on loan from Heaven to bring God’s will to earth?
Otherwise, after you got born again you would have immediately gone to Heaven.

Every born again Christian has an assignment to fulfill. You are an Ambassador for Christ.

So, what are you transferring from Heaven to earth?
What did Jesus pray would be done on earth?

The Power of a Seed
Let’s go back in history and lay down some tracks that we can follow to see what God’s Spirit is speaking to His people who pray.

Facts
Everything operates by “Seed.”
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth with His words. (Genesis 1:1)
God made man in His image and likeness. (Genesis 1:26)
God gave man, male and female, dominion over the earth. (Genesis 1:27)
Man became a speaking spirit. (Genesis 2:7)
Man disobeyed God. (Genesis 3:6)
While the earth remains there will be seedtime and harvest. (Genesis 8:22)

A virgin birthed the Son of God, Immanuel, God with us. (Matthew 1:23)
As many as received Him, He gave the right to be born of God. (John 1:12-13)
If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
The new creation is born of incorruptible seed, the Word. (1 Peter 1:23)
With the heart one believes.
With the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:10)
By your words you’re justified or condemned. (Matthew 12:37)

Christ in you the hope of glory. (Colossians 1:27)
The mystery of the Kingdom: “the sower sows the Word.” (Mark 4:10-20)
Seek first the Kingdom of God so all things will be added to you. (Matthew 6:33)

Your citizenship is in Heaven. (Colossians 3:20)
All authority in Heaven and earth has been given to Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:18)

Therefore …
Go, preach the gospel in all the world; make disciples, baptize, teach, cast out demons, lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. (Matthew 28:18-20 & Mark 16:15-18)

The Kingdom of God
Many books have been written about this important subject. Let’s try and just hit the high points.

The Kingdom of God resides within you.
The Kingdom of God is in operation in and through The Glorious Church, the Body of Christ. Jesus is the Head, filling all in all.

JESUS CHRIST — GOD’S SEED TO EARTH
“Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.” John 12:24

“What is the kingdom of God like? And to what shall I compare it?
It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and put in his garden; and it grew and became a large tree, and the birds of the air nested in its branches.”
Luke 13:18-19

The Kingdom of God in Operation
Jesus went to a deserted place after His cousin John was beheaded by Herod. Later, the multitudes found Him. Moved with compassion, He began teaching them. The disciples being concerned about the people getting hungry, told Him to send them away. “You give them something to eat … how many loaves do you have?” They answered, “Five and two fish.”

After Jesus blessed and broke the loaves and fish He gave them to His disciples to distribute to the multitude. As the disciples obeyed, multiplication took place feeding the multitude with more left over. Here we see the supernatural realm dominating the natural five-sense realm.

One preacher gives an example of the Kingdom of God being like a glacier.

We only see the top portion of it, when in actuality the massive structure below the surface, that which is temporarily unseen, is far, far greater. If we flip the glacier over with its top point in the water, we would then view how gigantic the unseen portion really is.

“The Lord has established His throne in heaven,
And His kingdom rules over all.”
Psalm 103:19

“And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.” (Matthew 4:23-24)

“Yeah, but that was Jesus. He is God! He can do anything.”

You, dear Saint, do not know who you are in Christ. The Spirit of God dwells within you.

“… how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” Acts 10:38

“But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.” Romans 8:11

The Church has been given authority to teach, to preach, to heal and to deliver.
"You have put all things in subjection under his feet.”

“For in that He put all in subjection under him, He left nothing that is not put under him. But now we do not yet see all things put under him. But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone.” (Hebrews 2:8-9)

JESUS IS LORD

OCTOBER 2016 — Whole lot of Shaking Going On
“Take heed that no one deceives you …
And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars, See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.”
(Matthew 24:4-7)

THE HOLY SPIRIT
“But the Helper,
the Holy Spirit,
whom the Father will send in My name,
He will teach you all things,
and bring to your remembrance
all things that I said to you.
Peace I leave with you,
My peace I give to you;
not as the world gives do I give to you.

“Let not your heart be troubled,
neither let it be afraid.”
(John 14:26-27)

HOW THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS ADMINISTERED UPON THE EARTH

It is God’s Spirit working through each member of His Church that brings the power of the cross to save and deliver suffering humanity. This is God’s will!

It is the Glorious Church that is bringing stability as the earth is being shaken.

Things are being shaken just as a farmer removes the tares from the wheat and then shakes the grains of wheat from the husks.

The Bible calls this threshing. The wheat was spread onto a floor made from stone, concrete or tamped earth and beat with a flail to remove the wheat. Next, the wheat was sifted to remove the chaff.

“Now this, ‘Yet once more,’ indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.” (Hebrews 12:25-29)

If Christ’s Spirit is in you, you cannot be shaken!
But take heed! Those born-again Christians who have embraced this world’s system and beliefs, well, there’s a whole lot of shaking in your future.

Closing Comments
What are you transferring from Heaven to earth? What is filling your heart?

Are you fearful of what will happen on November 8th?
Are you angry and hateful toward candidates who are ungodly?
What are you saying (seeds)?
How’s your prayer life?

Remember to walk in love and forgiveness toward the disobedient so that your faith can do the impossible. Our war is NOT against flesh and blood but against the unseen forces of darkness.

Are you offended at being called one of those “deplorable” people?

“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.” (Matthew 5:43-45)

How do we bless the ungodly? We pray for their salvation!
When you pray, you’re transferring God’s goodness, His will to earth. That’s our part. He desires all men to be saved.

Dealing with the wicked, well, that’s God’s business.

When you pray, the Holy Spirit in you is directing traffic, or in other words, what needs to be loosed and what needs to be locked up. Saints who pray have an internal assignment that yields to the direction of the Holy Spirit. Be led!

Because of this, God’s Word needs to be continually planted in your heart so that when you pray in faith, the mighty Sword of the Spirit is released out of your mouth. (Ephesians 6:17-18)

Through faith we subdue kingdoms! (Hebrews 11:33)

Through fear, anxiety, and worry we become discouraged which opens the door to unbelief! Shut that down. Maybe the news also! Pray more in tongues several times a day. It will strengthen you.

“Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me:
‘Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.
See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms,
To root out and to pull down,
To destroy and to throw down,
To build and to plant.” (Jeremiah 1:9-10)

"... the LORD will arise over you,
and His glory
will be seen upon you."

Isaiah 60:2
___________________________________________________________

Let’s do a brief recap of our last Bible Lesson.

Hear what the Spirit is saying to His Church.

“I came to send fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!” Luke 12:49

John the Baptist prophesied of Jesus:

“And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees.
Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry.

“He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.” Matthew 3:11-12

You and I are living in a unique sliver of time. Like a line drawn in the sand, we are moving closer to the return of Jesus when we will be caught up to meet Him in the air.
(1 Thessalonians 4:16-18)

The removal of Believers, who are watching for His return, will leave the nations open for the man of sin to take center stage. Read 2 Thessalonians 2:12.

This season of earth’s history is called The Tribulation and will last for seven years. The very heavens will be dissolved, being on fire. (2 Peter 3:12 & Psalm 102:26)

"But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that the Day should overtake you as a thief." (1 Thessalonians 5:4)

"For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him."

(1 Thessalonians 5:9)

Autumn 2016
The Parable of the Tares and Wheat

Let’s review this teaching the LORD gave His disciples 2,000 years ago. Why?
Because we are living right in the middle of what Jesus prophesied would come to pass.
It will help to strengthen you.

“The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared.

“So the servants of the owner came and said to him,
‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’

“He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’ But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them.

“‘Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.”’”
(Matthew 13:24-30)

Jesus explained the parable in Matthew 13:37-43 in this manner:
The good seeds are the sons of the Kingdom.
The reapers are His angels.
They will gather out of His Kingdom
all things that offend,
and those who practice lawlessness,
to cast them into the furnace of fire.

“Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the Kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!” (Matthew 13:43)

Division — Separation
The angels are at work dividing the good seeds from the bad. What people believe in their hearts is being made known openly.

Definition of Divide: separate, split, disunite, cause to disagree, cause to take sides, disagreement, discord, disconnect

"LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED"  John 14:1
When we understand the season we were called to live in, we will be better equipped to understand why things are taking place the way they are in our nation. Bad seeds are gathering together and will eventually be bundled together for judgment.

Good seeds, or the wheat, will be gathered together in His barn.
“Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.” (Revelation 3:10)

Just before the return of Jesus Christ to remove His Church from the earth, the Holy Spirit will be poured out on all flesh. Multitudes will come to be healed and delivered. God will harvest the earth and millions of people from every nation will be saved before the great and terrible Day of the LORD.

THE TRIBULATION
“Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth. And to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.” Revelation 9:3

“For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?” Revelation 6:17

“The Lord gives voice before His army, (not His Church)
For His camp is very great;
For strong is the One who executes His word.
For the day of the Lord is great and very terrible;
Who can endure it?

“ ‘Now, therefore,’ says the Lord,
‘Turn to Me with all your heart,
With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.’ ” (Joel 2:11-12)

This is where The Glorious Church is moving into right now! We are taking the land, positioning ourselves in the heavenly places in Christ.

How? Through united prayer for our nation!

CURRENT EVENTS

The mystery of iniquity:
The root of this is defiant unbelief in God and His word!

The carnal mind is enmity against God and leads to death. (Romans 8:6-7)
The old nature demands to be self sufficient and is highly absorbed with meeting selfish desires that are ruled by the five-sense realm: what we see, hear, touch, taste and feel. Every man born on earth inherited this from Adam.

But every man has the choice to be delivered from this.

THE MYSTERY OF THE CHURCH
“Christ in you the hope of glory.” (Colossians 1:26-27)
The New Creation, the born again man, is enfolded in and one with the Spirit of God! We have the nature of the “last Adam, a life-giving Spirit.” (1 Corinthians 15:45)

Guard Your Heart!
We are in the world, but not of the world … (John 17:16)

The Kingdom of God within us needs to be protected.
“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.” (Matthew 11:12)

“The Lord has established His throne in heaven,
And His kingdom rules over all.” Psalm 103:19

How?
By His Holy Spirit through His Church!

Diversities of gifts, differences of ministries, diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. That’s you and that’s me.

“Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues.” (1 Corinthians 12:27-28)

“But the manifestation of the spirit is given to each one for the profit of all …”

“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore …”
(Matthew 28:18-19)

Closing Comments
Be fervent to fulfill your assignment. But while you’re working for the LORD, don’t forget what He said.

“Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is.
It is like a man going to a far country, who left his house and gave authority to his servants, and to each his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to watch. Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming—in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning— lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping.

"And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!”
(Mark 13:33-37)

"And it shall come to pass
that whoever calls
on the name of the LORD shall be saved."
Joel 2:32
___________________________________________________________

“I came to send fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!”
Luke 12:49

This is spiritual language!

What is bad fruit? The outgrowth of something that is contrary to the written will of God. What are the consequences to those who are boldly disobedient? The ax is laid to the root and that tree is cut down and thrown into the fire.

Who are those who are baptized with the Holy Spirit and fire?
These are members of the Body of Christ that have asked Jesus to baptize them in His Spirit!

Christ Loves The Church
Jesus Christ is the Head and He is presently at work cleaning His Church to present her to Himself glorious, without spot, wrinkle or blemishes. How? By the washing of His Word! (Ephesians 5:26-27) This cleansing of each member has a significant outcome: holiness!

They will be gathered together into His barn. Those that remain? Fire!
During the seven years of tribulation, the earth will experience a baptism of fire when the very heavens will be dissolved with fervent heat and then made knew. (2 Peter 3:12-13)

Autumn: A Change in Seasons
In the Spirit: A Prophetic Time!

Praying saints, there’s a shift taking place in the heavenlies. Be prepared to have that small flame within you turned up! His Church is being revived for … revival.

Just as the weather is beginning to change as we enter into the fall season, so also, we The Church, are beginning to rise up and take our place of authority in the spiritual realm.

On earth we are preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ across the land and into every nation. Jesus Christ is rallying His troops for the great revival that will usher in the world’s harvest. It’s all about the Holy Spirit who is in us being released as we obey and do Father’s will. Jeremiah cried, “… His word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones.”

What happens when that fire of His word is released from your mouth as a two-edged sword? (Ephesians 6:17)

What will happen when every member of Christ’s Body is releasing God’s Kingdom on earth through His Word? Selah

The Spirit of Truth or the spirit of lies …
Separating the Good Fruit from the Bad Fruit

One aspect taking place in us and all around is division.
That is a nasty word when it divides the brethren but a good thing when Jesus cleanses His Church of worldliness. We’re in the world but not of the world. (John 17:16)

We can accompany John’s prophetic words in Matthew 3:11-12 with The Parable of the Tares and Wheat. (Matthew 13:24-30) Jesus revealed that at the end of the age a separation would be taking place in the spiritual realm and the earthly realm.

“The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field;
but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way.

Jesus explained the parable in Matthew 13:37-43 in this manner.

Are you listening dear one?

THE DARKNESS AND CORRUPTION OF SIN
I have seen so many things change in my lifetime. How about you? When I was a child growing up people knew right from wrong, and boundaries, for the most part, were respected. Over the past couple of years, the gap between right and wrong has widened considerably as darkness has permeated our land with lawlessness and corruption. Things that were hidden are being revealed and people are being drawn to take sides on what they believe, revealing what is in their hearts. We can even see how much the gap between the two political parties and their candidates for president have widened. It’s huge!

All of these things are a sign to people of faith, for Jesus told us in the gospels what was to come in the end days. As division separates darkness from light, those who stand for righteousness are increasing in holiness and in power. “He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still.” (Revelation 22:11)

Holy Spirit is getting The Glorious Church ready for center stage to proclaim the gospel message with signs following!

“For I consider that the sufferings
of this present time
are not worthy
to be compared
with the glory
which shall be revealed in us.
For the earnest expectation
of the creation
eagerly waits
for the revealing of the sons of God.” (Romans 8:19)

We’re here to release the Kingdom of God!
“Thy Kingdom come, thy will by done on earth as it is in Heaven.”

What does the great harvest look like?
Imagine the Azusa Street Revival taking place in every city and every state of our nation. Imagine every nation on earth experiencing signs, wonders, and miracles.

“Then great multitudes came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at Jesus’ feet, and He healed them.  So the multitude marveled when they saw the mute speaking, the maimed made whole, the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel.” (Matthew 15:30-31)

Can you see that?

The lame, the blind, the mute, the maimed and many others healed by the power of God! Oh Saints, get ready. Let’s put prayer at the top of our priorities, for prayer lays the track that revival runs on.

PRAYING IN TONGUES: Tapping into the Power!
“For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries.” (1 Corinthians 14:2) “Is it not written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations’?” (Mark 11:17)

Suggested Assignment
Kenneth Copeland did an excellent teaching on Praying in the Spirit. It is 22 minutes.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hhnQfSrVU0w

Closing Comments
Jesus often left the multitudes and His disciples to get alone and pray.
How much more should we set time to be alone with Father for love and fellowship, for study in His Word, for direction, to be re-charged with His anointing, to set the course for the day, and so on? It is also our time to use His name and our authority to restore our cities and states through prayer.

What do you think Jesus was doing when He was alone on the mountain?

Always remember, Saints, humility is required for success in God’s Kingdom.
As power begins to increase, walk humbly with your God. (James 4:6-7)

"Now the just shall live by faith."
Hebrews 10:38
___________________________________________________________

Are you in position to receive?

“Yes, I think so. Well, what do you mean exactly?”

“… as it is written:
‘Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared
for those who love Him.’

“But God has revealed them
to us through His Spirit.” (1 Corinthians 2:9-10)

“Well, how can I know them?”
The Apostle Paul said, “These things we speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit teaches …” (1 Corinthians 2:13)

THE HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit has made His home in each of us.
He is teaching us all the time, but we need to be in a position to receive.

In the game of baseball, when a pitcher is on the mound warming up before the game, he throws the ball to the catcher. The catcher is in position, ready to receive. He is focused on the pitcher, watches the ball, and catches it in his baseball mitt.

What about receiving things in your spirit, where God’s Holy Spirit dwells?

We don’t exactly have something physical like a baseball mitt to catch what God is saying or what He wants to teach (reveal) to us.

How do we receive spiritual things?
How do we live in peace during turbulent times?

Look at the baseball catcher. He’s focused, watching the pitcher, making himself ready to receive. He’s bent down, watching, ready to catch what the pitcher is throwing to him.

LIVING BY THE SPIRIT
The just shall live by his faith in God.
The just shall seek their God daily.
The just have ears to hear what the Spirit is teaching in personal study time and from ministers who are anointed to teach.
The just shall walk in the Spirit…each day.
The just shall live in the Spirit…by doing His Word. (Galatians 5:25)

The just (justified) shall abide in Christ where every spiritual blessing is located, in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 1:3)

“Wow, that’s really deep.”
Yes, it is. And for God’s worldly child, those words will fly away over them like a bird.

“Why is that?”

The Apostle Paul put it this way: “You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted by your own affections.” (2 Corinthians 6:12)

Definition of Restrict: confine, constrain, suppress, thwart, squelch, obstruct, inhibit, limit, narrow, constrict

Your own affections, or what you desire more than God’s Word, prayer, or fellowship time alone with Father, will lead you away from the spiritual realm because the sense realm of what you can see, or what you can hear and touch, is taking preeminence.

In other words, the flesh is dominating your lifestyle because you get more of a “buzz” from that realm.

If that is allowed to continue it will bear the nasty fruit of closing off your ability to hear Kingdom ways and will lead to a hardened heart which is unbelief.

Imagine how awful it would be not to be able to get close to Father because of your own affections for other things.

“For those who live according to the flesh
set their minds on the things of the flesh,
but those who live according to the Spirit,
the things of the Spirit.

“For to be carnally minded is death,
but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God;
for it is not subject to the law of God,
nor indeed can be.
So then, those who are in the flesh
cannot please God.” (Romans 8:5-8)

YOUR HEART
Jesus pulled back the veil and gave us a revealing look at the heart in His teaching on the Parable of The Sower. It’s the way God’s Kingdom operates and it is vital that we understand this. (See our last Bible Lesson)

In this teaching Jesus referred to the heart as ground.
The same seed (God’s holy Word) came upon the surface of four different kinds of ground. The only seed that was able to enter into the ground and produce fruit was the good ground … or the good heart.

EXAMPLES
God delivered the children of Israel from being slaves in Egypt. His desire was to bless them by giving them the good land of Canaan. One leader from each of the twelve tribes was chosen to go and spy out the land. Ten came back with an evil report. “We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we.” (Numbers 13:31)

Two leaders, Caleb and Joshua, had a different perspective.
“Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it… their protection has departed from them and the LORD is with us. Do not fear them.” (Numbers 13:30 & 14:9)

What’s going on here?
Ten said we can’t do this, two said we can.
Jesus said, “…a tree is known by its fruit.” Read Matthew 12:33-37.

We can hear what is in the heart of the ten leaders as they expressed the fear of not being able to do this. God was not in the picture at all. They only saw the giants and fortified cities. Fear gained access in their empty hearts.

The other two leaders declared what was in their heart. They had the spirit of faith.

“God is with us; let us go up at once!”

FAITH PLEASES GOD
Why? Because it is how He is able to get His will into the earth to bring His goodness!

“Yeah, but God is always in control to do what He wants to do.
After all, He is sovereign you know!”

Really?
Did Israel go in and take the land as God desired?
No, that generation all died in the wilderness!

Ten men infected with the spirit of fear released the spirit of unbelief upon millions of God’s children. “We were like grasshoppers …”

As the people received the evil report they saw themselves and their children dying by the sword. They wept and cried all night. (Numbers 14:2-3)

SPIRITUAL LAW
What they believed in their hearts and spoke with their words they received.

“Say to them, ‘As I live,’ says the Lord, ‘just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will do to you: The carcasses of you who have complained against Me shall fall in this wilderness, all of you who were numbered, according to your entire number, from twenty years old and above.’” (Numbers 14:28-29)

“But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it.”

God is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6)

INFLUENCE
We can see from Israel’s example how ten leaders diverted God’s will from being done. They were not in position to receive because they did not believe God was with them.

Definition of Influence: the capacity or power of persons or things to be a compelling force on or produce effects on the actions, behavior, opinions, of others; a person or thing that exerts influence

What will influence you today?
How much worldly influence is affecting or infecting you?
Are your own affections keeping you out of the spiritual realm?
Are busyness and distractions pushing you away from personal time with God?
Are you becoming dull of hearing? (Hebrews 5:11)
Is your heart becoming hardened?
Is it difficult to understand Godly teaching lately?

PRESENT DAY INSTRUCTIONS FROM THE LORD
“Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says:
‘Today, if you will hear His voice,
Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion,
In the day of trial in the wilderness,
Where your fathers tested Me, tried Me,
And saw My works forty years.
Therefore I was angry with that generation,
And said, “They always go astray in their heart,
And they have not known My ways.”
So I swore in My wrath,
“They shall not enter My rest.” ’ ”

“Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God …” (Hebrews 3:7-12)

Living Each Day in a Position to Receive

This requires your attention every day.
Keep your eyes focused on THE PITCHER with your heart ready to catch what He has to say and what He wants to do. Be good ground!

CLOSING WORDS
“Do not worry … But seek first the kingdom of God …” (Matthew 6:33)
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”
(John 15:5)

"The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground ... and the seed should sprout and grow ..."
Mark 4:26-27
___________________________________________________________

Picture
Dear Saints,
If you have not studied the previous lesson, please scroll down and read before continuing on.

“Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” Mark 11:24

Did you believe you received when you prayed?
“Yes, I did.”

That’s great!
Now, having done all to stand, stand therefore … in faith believing.

BEHIND THE SCENES
Let’s take a look into the unseen spiritual realm, from the point of prayer — to there it is!

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ …” (Ephesians 1:3)

Things to remember about the operation of the unseen spiritual realm:
  • All things work according to “seedtime and harvest.” (Genesis 8:22)
  • Something must be planted in order to harvest.
  • Everything grows according to its own kind. Watermelon seeds won’t produce carrots. When you need healing, plant a healing seed. (Isaiah 53:5)
  • The growing season (time) is subject to faith.
  • The just shall live by faith. (Romans 1:17) Faith is an unseen substance.

WORDS: An Expression of Thoughts!
WORDS: Seeds!

Words are a product of thoughts.
Words are seeds that plant your future, either for good or for evil.
The Hebrew scribes define words as “things.”

“A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.” (Matthew 12:35)

What you say matters!
You not only received salvation by the words of your mouth (Romans 10:10), but the words of your mouth will bring things to you.

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue …” (Proverbs 18:21)
“… the tongue is a little member. See how great a forest a little fire kindles!” (James 3:5)

“Therefore, holy brethren,
partakers of the heavenly calling,
consider the Apostle
and High Priest of our confession,
Christ Jesus …” (Hebrews 3:1)

The Security Guard
When the Word of God has filled your heart and transformed your mind, your spirit man is easily able to guard what is coming out of your mouth. Your spirit stands like a security guard over what can be released and stops what is not allowed to be spoken.

Let’s look at two examples of what the spoken word can do.

Faith-Filled Words Produce Life
Ordinary Lives — Extraordinary Results

The Old Testament tells us an interesting story. (2 Kings 4:8-37) A Shunammite woman had a son who died, perhaps from a sun stoke. She set her faith to find Elisha, the anointed prophet of God.

When her husband asked why she was leaving she said, “It is well!” Think of that! Later, Elisha raised her son from the dead and “all WAS well!” She only spoke what she desired. This is “calling things that be not as though they were.” (Romans 4:17)

In Matthew 8:5-13 the Centurion soldier came to Jesus on behalf of his paralyzed servant who was in terrible torment. Jesus responded, “I will come and heal him ...”

“Only speak a word and my servant will be healed.
For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.

“‘Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.’
And his servant was healed that same hour.”

Jesus said this Roman soldier had “great faith.”
Why? He had a revelation that words could be sent to heal his servant.

One of the things both of these testimonies have in common is their faith connected with two holy men who were anointed and appointed by God. There was NO waiting for them to see results.

TIME
We, of course, like immediate results to prayer. But sometimes there is a process taking place in the supernatural realm which is not evident to us. Our faith in God can anchor us to hold us steady. His grace and faith abide within us.

But faith must be developed.

“Okay, but how do I develop faith?”

Jesus told His disciples, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say …” (Luke 17:6) Plant it! It will grow. You really can’t study the subject of faith without talking about words.

Don’t speak words contrary to what you are believing for.
The enemy would love to steal your dream with your own words. That’s why he tries to send evil imaginations into your thoughts.

What to do? Fight the good fight of faith. Take every thought captive to line up with God’s Word.

THE APPLE
Like the protected core of an apple holds the seeds to future life, our inner man has the
ability to produce the nature of God in us but also something extraordinary: The Kingdom of God!

“The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, ‘Lo here!’ or, ‘lo there!’ for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.” (Luke 17:20:21)

In other words, don’t go running here and there looking for God’s Kingdom. It’s been planted in your heart by God’s living Word.

HOW THE KINGDOM OF GOD WORKS
How Prayer Works
First the Seed …

Notice the bean in the first three stages of development is not seen in the natural realm: the five-sense realm.

One apple seed is tiny yet when planted can produce a large tree. Many seeds planted can produce an orchard that in one season can produce 16,000 pounds of fruit… fruit that nourishes and gives life to people.

Never underestimate the power of a seed.

Remember the Parable of the Mustard Seed? (Mark 4:30-32)
The Kingdom of God is growing but begins where it cannot be seen — in the heart of you and me, Kingdom citizens who have authority on earth through Jesus Christ.

God’s Kingdom is being revealed on earth through His people fulfilling their assignments!

“The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how. For the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head. But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.” (Mark 4:26-29)

Just think of this.
God wanted a family. He started with Adam and Eve and now there are over seven billion people on earth! He’s getting ready to “put in the sickle!” See James 5:7-8.

Definition of Development: growth, progress, advance, expansion, unfolding, opening, maturing, maturation, maturity, ripeness

Elohim, God our Creator, designed everything on earth to begin with a seed. Look outside at the grass, the trees, birds, animals, etc., all started with a seed, including you and me.

God wanted a Church. He planted Jesus! (John 12:24)
We, His people, are born again of the incorruptible seed of the Word of God! (1 Peter 1:23)

So, what do seeds need to grow?
As you read through this list, think of the spiritual side of what we are talking about.

Seeds need to be planted in an environment that will allow them to grow: good soil.
Seeds need sunshine. A seed planted in a pot and placed in a dark garage will eventually die.
Seeds need to be watered.
Seeds need to be fed fertilizer.
After planting they need help with their enemies: weeds and bugs.
The farmer can do this. Watching over his apple orchard is an on-going process.

THE PARABLE OF THE SOWER — Mark Chapter Four
“The sower sows the word.”

“And He said to them, ‘Do you not understand this parable?
How then will you understand all the parables?’”
(Mark 4:13-14)

Suggested Assignment:
Take time to study Mark Chapter Four. The whole Kingdom of God operates this way.
It’s how the LORD is building His Church!

I found an outstanding teaching by Pastor Keith Butler for you. It will strengthen your faith. Its 51 minutes.

Closing Comments
You prayed and believed you received. Guard your thoughts and your words.
Call those things that be not as though they were and you will have.
Through faith and patience we inherit the promises of God.
Faith works through love. Forgive quickly. Love never fails.
Be a good farmer! Watch over your seed. Never allow “It’s not working,” to enter in.
Doubt and unbelief are like root rot to your seed.
Praise and worship God often.

“And He said to them,
‘To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God …’” (Mark 4:11)
