"He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said,
out of his heart will flow rivers of living water."
John 7:38

Let’s look at a very important subject:
YOUR LIFE IN THE LATTER DAYS
“In righteousness you shall be established;
You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear;
And from terror, for it shall not come near you.
…no weapon formed against you shall prosper.” See Isaiah 54:14 & 17.
“And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.” Matthew 24:6
“Watch therefore, and pray always, that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” Luke 21:36
The Gospel has the last word!
Not nations, not politicians. Only the Word of Jesus Christ has the last word to this generation!
And He said, “…this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” Matthew 24:14
“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.” John14:1
This is a command we must consistently act on.
“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27
“Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word…” 2 Thessalonians 2:1-2
"Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart." Luke 18:1
2015: HOW TO LIVE IN VICTORY!
1. FAITH
Have faith in God!
Our God is the Father of Glory and is all power. Trusting Him and doing His written Word activates the faith that connects us with unlimited power and resources from the Kingdom of God. This is walking in the Spirit or walking by faith not by sight. And this is the victory that overcomes the world.
When you were born again, you became a new creation IN CHRIST. It is a requirement from God to live this new life through Christ Jesus/The Word.
Disciples must be disciplined. Decisions made early in the day, like study and prayer, set boundaries for our day which help us to walk in the spirit and not in the flesh.
“You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You.” Isaiah 26:3
2. FAITH COMES BY HEARING, AND HEARING BY THE WORD OF GOD
Faith begins where the will of God is known.
Study God’s Word every day so that you will “not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15 The Hebrew scribes said that the discipline of study quiets the mind. This is how we “seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness” so all other things necessary to life will be added to us. Matthew 6:33
Listen to one faith-building teaching every day. Hearing is a requirement to receiving.
I recently enjoyed this teaching from Kenneth Copeland from 1989: “Using the Keys of Faith to Fight Doubt” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2wIl3XADW4
Speak the scriptures.....like those in the Bullet Box and Who I Am in Christ often.
Why do we do these things? To get the Word of God in our heart.
Why do you eat breakfast every morning?
Just as your physical body needs nutrients for strength, your spirit-man needs live faith-food—the incorruptible seed of God’s Word which is alive and powerful. See 1 Peter 1:23 and Hebrews 4:12.
“The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” John 6:63
Words of life are words of grace.
GRACE…God’s empowering favor and strength freely given to us.
Spirit words are activated by FAITH!
Through faith and patience we inherit the promises of God. Hebrews 6:12
3. FEAR COMES BY HEARING THE LIES OF THE DEVIL
Did you know you can start out your day with the Word and if you’re not guarding your heart and doing the Word, you can slowly take steps down from your position of authority and begin to flow with the world?
If your God-given, God-willed authority begins to relax, over a period of time you will be dominated by worldly carnal ways that target you to bring you into bondage.
See Galatians 3:2, 5:1, James 1:22-25 and Ephesians 6:12-13.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7
“… stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel, and not in any way terrified by your adversaries, which is to them a proof of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that from God. Philippians 1:27-28
4. GUARDING THE HEART: See Proverbs 4:20-27
How do you guard your heart?
In the year 2015, this has become a vital requirement for living the victorious life of faith.
When nations are tottering on financial collapse and we hear of wars and rumors of war, and righteous laws are being changed to evil, how can we walk in peace and joy?
Your place of authority and dominion is not only given to bind a deceptive enemy, but your spirit-man, full of God’s Word, can easily take dominion over worry, anxiety, stress, and fear and cast it out.
Two things are required in guarding your own heart:
1. Be aware…be listening to what’s going on in your heart
2. Make a daily decision to monitor and correct thoughts that are out of order with peace and truth. Memorize 2 Corinthians 10:3-5.
Definition of Decision: judgment; verdict; resolution; determination; result arrived at after consideration; an act of separation
To you it has been given to know the mystery of the Kingdom of God and how it works. Read Mark Chapter 4. Several times Jesus told us to “take heed what you hear.”
The gates to the heart are: what you hear, what you see/read, and what you say with your mouth. What did Jesus say can choke the powerful Word of God from producing fruit in your life?
- Cares (worry) of this world
- The deceitfulness of riches
- Desires for other things (rather than God’s Word)
Philippians 4:4-9 give us the plan to having a heart full of peace and joy:
- Rejoice in the Lord always.
- Let your gentleness be made known to all men. The Lord is at hand.
- Be anxious for nothing…instead pray! Bring cares to the Lord.
- Then God’s peace will guard your heart and mind…through Christ Jesus.
- Things that are true
- Noble (Moral, upright)
- Just
- Pure
- Lovely
- Good Report
- These things which you have learned…act on them!
5. PRAY IN THE SPIRIT EVERY DAY
“But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.” Jude 20-21
There is nothing that can take the place of praying in the spirit.
If you have let this slip, get back to it. Start with 10 minutes every morning. Practice praying in the Spirit throughout your day, on the way to work or errands, while cooking, etc. It is a direct line to the mighty indwelling Spirit of God as we express the divine mysteries of God. 1 Corinthians 14:2
6. FAITH IN GOD BRINGS REST
“There remains therefore a rest for the people of God.’ Hebrews 4:9
“Today, if you will hear His voice,
Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.” Hebrews 3:15
Jesus is coming soon!
Suggested Assignment: Study Hebrews Chapters 3 & 4.
