2015: How to Live in Victory
Let’s do a quick recap of the last three bible lessons, "Your Life in the Latter Days" to get an overview of what the Holy Spirit is saying to The Church.
RECAP: LESSON ONE
We are not to fear about what is taking place in the nations. “Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” Have faith in God.
RECAP: LESSON TWO
The word of the LORD came to me twice on 9/27/15:
“This is where everything changes.”
What does this mean LORD?
“Good for The Church, distress for the nations.”
Jesus teaches on The Kingdom of God: Mark, Chapters Four and Five.
Mission Assignment: “Let us cross over to the other side.”
You need peace, faith, and tenacity to reach your destination and fulfill your earthly assignment. Jesus dominated fear and opposition and expects His disciples to do the same…through Him. See Philippians 4:13.
RECAP: LESSON THREE
Faith is an act!
Mysteries of the Kingdom of God are taught in Mark, Chapter Four. They are demonstrated in Chapter Five in the lives of three desperate people who overcame great opposition to attain what they desired.
“Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” Mark 11:24
“…the kingdom of God suffers violence but the violent take it by force.”
Unwavering, relentless, determined faith brought the desired results to Jairus’ little daughter and also to The Woman.
What about the demon-possessed man living in the graveyard?
Hundreds of harassing, unclean spirits could not prevent him from running to Jesus and worshiping Him! The unyielding, immovable faith of this tortured man connected with the compassion of the Living Word to receive the dominating power of God’s goodness.
There’s hope for the lost, Saints! Keep praying ...
TODAY'S LESSON:
YOUR LIFE IN THE LATTER DAYS—PART FOUR
THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST
Many Christians have a lovely picture in their minds of Jesus walking the shores of Galilee wearing sandals and a long robe. This is not a current photo of our LORD.
It’s important for us to know and see Jesus’ present day ministry as Head of The Church. Let’s replace those Sunday School pictures with what the Apostle John saw on the isle of Patmos.
“Then I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands, and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band. His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire; His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters; He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength.” Revelation 1:12-16
This is the head of The Church!
This is Who we are one with, the “Lion of the tribe of Judah.”
He said, “ I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen.
And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.” Revelation 1:18
All authority in heaven and earth has been given to Him.
"For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities, or powers." Colossians 1:16
All things were created through Him and for Him. He is God!
LATTER DAYS ASSIGNMENTS: Soldiers!
Imagine a group of soldiers with orders to deliver a region that was under siege by gangs of thieves and murderers. As the team arrived on location with their armor on, fully equipped with weapons and ammunition, they began to be fearful of the destruction they saw before them.
Their sergeant was no better, and as a result they all began to pull back, hiding in bushes. The retreat continued, getting them farther and farther from their destination.
As they withdrew, enemy forces took the opportunity to advance. Seeing the soldiers one by one casting down their weapons, they began firing missiles at them until these inexperienced soldiers were scattered in full retreat, not having fired a single shot!
Failed Assignment…
No resistance, fearful, weak, dismayed, without leadership, unknowledgeable, inexperienced, and unable to fight, these soldiers were called back to headquarters to attend basic training once again. See Hebrews 5:11-14.
The Spiritual War
“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.”
Read 2 Corinthians 10:3-6, Ephesians 6: 10-18, and Romans 12:1-2.
Spiritual Weapons
The Word of God: Jesus used the Word to defeat His enemy. Luke 4:1-13
God's Armor: Ephesians 6:10-17
Prayer: Releasing the Sword of the Spirit. Ephesians 6:17
The Blood of the Lamb: Exodus 12:13 & Revelation 12:11
Walking in the Spirit: Galatians 5:16
Living by Faith: 1 John 5:4
SPECIAL OPS TEAM: Engage in Warfare!
The Church will not take her place as The Glorious Church unless we obey “the Captain of our salvation,” have knowledge of what He has already done, and understand what He has equipped us with.
Part of our equipment and armor is the knowledge of who we are in Christ, instruction and training in the use of our weapons, and the importance of “the assembly of the Saints.”
Every day we need to be led by the One sent to be our Personal Trainer.
The Holy Spirit is faithfully teaching, guiding, and directing us in how to attain the victory over every opposition, while supplying us with the power to overcome. He is equipping each Believer to help us fulfill the Master’s corporate assignment:
“A voice of one is calling out,
‘Clear the way for the LORD in the wilderness [remove the obstacles];
Make straight and smooth in the desert a highway for our God.
Every valley shall be raised,
And every mountain and hill be made low;
And let the rough ground become a plain,
And the rugged places a broad valley.
And the glory and majesty and splendor of the LORD will be revealed,
And all humanity shall see it together;
For the mouth of the LORD has spoken it.” Isaiah 40:3-5 AMP
Why is it so important to prepare the way for the glory to be seen?
The Glorious Church is on assignment to prepare the hearts of the lost.
Why? Harvest time has come! See John 4:34-38.
Say to the cities: “Behold Your God.” Isaiah 40:9
THE AUTHORITY OF THE BELIEVER
To gather in this End Time Harvest each of us must be continually refueled by the power of the Holy Spirit and study of The Word. He empowers us to prosper. He is giving each born again child of God individual guidance in the inner man.
This is why praying in tongues is vitally important. Your identity as a conquering soldier is hidden in your spirit man. It’s where the weapons of the Kingdom are located. That’s why we are to guard our hearts. Luke 17:21
The Baptism of the Holy Spirit
Without Holy Spirit and His fullness, or the “baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues,” certain “supplies of the Spirit” will be lacking and some purposes will not be attained.
Jesus would not have told us to receive this if it wasn’t very important.
There should not be any resistance to this for it is the power that what will help us complete the work of the last generation of His Church. Read Matthew 3:11, Acts 1:4-8, 2:1-4, and 19:1-6.
NEED HELP?
If you would like someone to pray with you to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, call the Kenneth Copeland Ministries Prayer Line: 1-817-852-6000.
Our generation has had the privilege to sit under “mighty leaders of the faith” that have trained us in the Word, helped us to be equipped to do the work of the ministry, admonished us to live in unity and love, and released to us the knowledge of how spiritual things work.
Beyond that, the responsibility rests upon us to use what we have learned.
Prayer with Purpose soldiers are not spiritually ignorant but are a highly trained special operations unit who are doing God’s will as Ambassadors for Christ, laying a prayer track to help the lost find their way and connect to their Savior.
We’re also on assignment to pray for The Church to take her place, center stage, as The Glorious Church! And we are also on assignment to pray for those elected leaders in our cities, counties, and state to submit to the call of God and do what is right before Him.
Intercessors, let’s run this race to win!
You’re more than an overcomer through Jesus Christ!
NEW RESOURCE: YOU ARE AN OVERCOMER SCRIPTURES!
Jesus made promises to those who overcome.
I have made a list of those promises that are written in Revelation, Chapters Two and Three. Speak them over yourself. As you do, His words will strengthen your inner man with the same power that was originally spoken when Jesus spoke them to John!
YOU ARE AN OVERCOMER SCRIPTURES
The Word will empower you to finish your race in glory!
“Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” Matthew 25:21
