"But as many as received Him,
to them He gave the right to become children of God,
to those who believe in His name ..."
John 1:12

This is Part 3 of a study on Vision.
If you have not read the previous two lessons, just scroll down.
Warning
Without a vision, a plan from God, the people perish. Proverbs 29:18
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” Hosea 4:6
Blessing
Put knowledge and vision together with faith in God and we are victorious overcomers fulfilling our assignments before the change—His glorious return.
God Has a Vision for His Church
The Church is made up of individuals who are born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. We are spirit; we have a soul, and live in a body. We are citizens of Heaven. See John 1:13, 1 Thessalonians 5:23, Philippians 3:20.
Each member has been born of incorruptible seed through the word of God.
See 1 Peter 1:23.
All of your amazing talents, qualities and gifts are given to bring strength and edification to the Body and further: a mission to this world. There is no one else, forever and ever, that can fulfill your specific call or take your place.
Prayer
Taking our Seat in Heavenly Places in Christ: Ephesians 2:6
We, who have been called to prepare the way for The LORD of the Harvest, take our stand for righteousness in prayer in the secret place.
Our prayers are effective and vital to The Church: the operation of His Spirit on earth.
Each one of us, young and elders, are holding ground that is significant to God’s Kingdom and plan: God’s will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
This day, God wants you to be refreshed.
As corruption and evil seem to be on the increase in the earth, God’s plans and goodness are far more powerful and on the increase, for God will come behind in no good gift.
See 1 Corinthians 1:7.
The Church is birthing multitudes into the Kingdom every day. Faith Tabernacle Church in Nigeria has 225,000 people attending services each week-end. The underground church in China has abounded with estimates of 150-200 million born again Christians. Praise God!
“And the LORD answered me, and said, ‘Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.’” Habakkuk 2:2
Vision brings the plan.
The plan brings the purpose.
The purpose brings your reason for living.
“Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith…”
Read Hebrews 12:1-2.
You are so important, Beloved of God.
You were called. You were chosen before the foundation of the world. See Ephesians 1:4.
You are God’s workmanship. You were created in Christ Jesus for good works. Those works were prepared beforehand, before you were born, that you should walk out God’s plan for your life. See Ephesians 2:10.
Father has a vision for your life.
Definition of Vision:
The act of seeing; a revelation; sight, perception, discernment, ability to foresee, mental image, idea, dream, ability to plan ahead, concept
Father has a plan, an assignment for you to fulfill.
Definition of Plan:
Method, strategy, blueprint, sketch, design, map, diagram, form, frame, outline, lay out, project, aim, purpose
“Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer,
And He who formed you from the womb:
“I am the Lord, who makes all things…” Isaiah 44:24
“Declaring the end from the beginning,
And from ancient times things that are not yet done …” Isaiah 46:11
“…just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world…having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself…having made know to us the mystery of His will…that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth —in Him.”
Read Ephesians 1:4, 5,9,10.
The New Creation—A New Identity in Christ
2 Corinthians 5:14-20: Recap
- The love of Christ compels us.
- Behold, all things have become new.
- If One died for all, then all died.
- Those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for Him.
- We regard no one according to the flesh.
- All things are of God who has reconciled us to Himself.
- We are ministers of reconciliation.
- We are ambassadors for Christ to the world.
Who are you?
“… that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
2 Corinthians 5:21
And someone thought, “How could I ever be the righteousness of God?”
Have you ever seen a baby spit out his food because he just couldn’t eat it? If you stumbled over that verse, let’s look at some reasons why it isn’t being received.
- Practicing known sin or rebellion to God
- Remembrance of past sin, shame and guilt
- Lack of knowledge of what Jesus did on the cross
- Ignorance of your covenant rights and benefits as a blood-bought child of God
- Indoctrinated with the traditions of men
- Listening to incorrect teaching
- Too much unity/fellowship with carnal Christians
- Ignorance of the scriptures
- Not believing God’s Word
By Renewing the Mind to Scripture
“ … that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.” Ephesians 4:23
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Read Romans 12:1-2.
As a Man Thinketh So is He: Proverbs 23:7
You can’t go any further than what is revealed from God.
But when you believe and receive what is revealed, you can go beyond the mundane to do far greater works than you ever imagined for our great King!
The call is for your all!
Your all is for the call!

Assignment:
Renew your thoughts and meditate on the “Who I Am in Christ Scriptures” often if not daily.
How important is it to speak the "who you are in Christ" scriptures?
Well, do you remember how you got saved? ”For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” See Romans 10:10.
